I always feel like I need a drivers license that says "McLovin" when I come to Hooters. No, I don't…read moreknow why either. And when I say "always" I've only been to three, one in Nashville, one in Las Vegas, and one in Tokyo (which completely defeated the purpose, but was still fun). Just like every other American franchise that comes to Australia (TGI Fridays, Outback Steakhouse), our version is never as good as their version. The food is Americana, but it's pretty basic versions of their most famous dishes - chicken wings where at least 3 of the 20 I got were refrigerator-cold, 911 hot sauce that didn't burn my face off like the one in Vegas did, a bowl of potato gems covered in melted Kraft-like cheese, ribs that leave you wanting more for a reason you can't quite put your finger on. It ain't cheap, either. The steaks and ribs run up to 30, 40, 50 bucks, and it's no Porteno. And there are immense amounts of TVs cluttering the place. I know, I know, sports bar, but 29 televisions? Come on. Sadly, another example of a franchise where the brand gives them license to charge OTT prices while ignoring customer experience.

Went just after it opened at Midday…read more Food was prepared quickly and the quality was quite good. Portion size was good also Value for money? No, you pay for the Hooters brand/gimmick so I find it a little pricier than maybe it should be. The Americana side of the menu is pretty much spot on. My #1 Wife loves the fried pickles as well as their salads. The Burgers are similar to what I've had in places like "In'n'Out" burger in the USA, only much smaller The place was clean and tidy on the inside. No-one seemed to know why several of the TV's at the tables didn't work or weren't plugged in (you could see the plugs next to the TV's) Would I go again? Yes. If I just wanted the food I'd probably go to a nearby Takeaway that specialises in American Style Food, but to sit and dine I would return.

The Panthers Club was recommended by some co-workers for a good place to have supper. There are…read moreseveral restaurants to choose from in the club, but this one looked good to us. We got there right when it opened at 5:30 and they had a three-course date night special for a half hour, so we jumped on that deal! Started with foccaccia bread with balsamic vinegar/olive oil. Then my husband got the New York strip steak and I got the half rack of pork ribs. They offered a few other choices for mains. My ribs were cooked nicely and it was a large portion, complete with a bib and some cleansing wipes for fingers afterwards. We ended our meal with a delightful chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream! It also came with a bottle of wine to enjoy throughout. The servers were friendly and attentive. It was a nice splurge experience!

I read the reviews of this place before I went and I try not one to believe everything I read but…read morethe reviews on the this place were a pretty spot on. The decor was nice and modern and seemed like a nice place. Walk in and greeted by friendly people. Look at the menu.. Nothing much to chose from which has proven to be more good than bad! The less on the menu the more mastered the choices are usually..not this place in my opinion. I can only speak for choice which was the the steak forgot which it was! But the second cheapest which still was around the $28 mark.. Now for a steak for that much mulla I wasn't expect Royal beef but something decent. Nah. It was tuff and chewy and drowning it on sauce was the best way to wash it down. I had it cooked medium rare.. Oh and my fav on the menu it says "all mains come with chips and salad" yeah ok. They put a bowl of chips and salad in the middle of the table and you share.. "Joey doesn't share food!!!" What the hell!? I had like three chips because I didn't want to look like a pig! It was only a small bowl for three adults! Finally the price.. This place is so incredibly over priced it ridiculous. Check out the menu and the prices online it's not worth the trip. I don't enjoy this place at all. People were nice. That's why 2 stars.
