9 oz Victoria's Filet Mignon steak with broccoli
Doug B.

I met a friend here for lunch recently. We arrived around 12:45pm and the restaurant was pretty busy. We opted to sit in the bar area since there were no booths available in the main dining area. This area has seating at the bar and some two seat booths around the perimeter. The bartender, who was also our main server, greeted us promptly and a loaf of their complementary wheat bread arrived at our table shortly thereafter. We both ordered the Victoria's 9 oz Filet Mignon ($39.99). The 6 oz size of the steak is $33.99, so it is a no-brainer to get the extra 3 oz for only $6 more. This is a great deal for a 9 oz filet mignon. I ordered a house salad with blue cheese dressing and veggies for my sides. PRO TIP: My friend lives nearby and has dined here quite a few times. He is on the carnivore diet and before we ordered he chuckled "too bad I can't get bacon for a side" to which I replied "why not ask?". The server checked with the kitchen and lo and behold, they brought him six slices of bacon for his two sides. I'm sure that will be his standard side order from now on. I understand they are pretty busy around lunch time, but it was 30 minutes before our steaks finally came out. I always order filet mignon cooked "medium rare +" and when I cut into it, the center was rare. I waited for five minutes for a server to stop by to see if everything was ok, but I ended up having to go find a server to have the kitchen cook it more. Then it took almost fifteen minutes for my steak to come back, and in the meantime my friend had already finished eating. An improperly cooked steak should be expedited. When my steak finally returned to the table, it was tender and flavorful. It's always a treat to enjoy 9 oz versus the standard 5 oz or 6 oz. The broccoli was ok. In hindsight, I should have put a little salt or butter on it. My house salad was fresh and included tomato, cucumber, onion, cheese, and croutons. The blue cheese dressing had good flavor. I hadn't seen my friend in quite a while, and we ended up chatting for almost two and a half hours. After we finished eating, it seems like our service basically ended as our drinks were only refilled once in all that time. Service in general seemed a little lacking on this occasion, especially when it came to my steak. My final rating is 3.5 stars with a gracious upgrade to 4 stars. I will probably return here to meet my friend again in the future. Hopefully, things will go a little smoother next time.

Gingerbread cola

My boyfriend and I LOVE coming to Outback! The service here is always amazing and we always feel so welcome. We had a very friendly server and were so excited to order the gingerbread cola. It came with the cutest Koala bear straw hugger. Once we got our drink, we were obsessed! They were so cute and very tasty. We ordered steak, potatoes, and chili. The chili tasted so good and it stayed even better with the bread. The steak is always so amazing here and has great protein. Don't even get me started on the baked potato. It tasted so good, I even it the skin. I love outback and we will definitely be back!

We did a pre-order, of 3 chicken sandwich meals to go ! Unfortunately, because we didn't request disposable cutlery, we drove off without any, or napkins. This is disappointing because we took our food and wanted to have a picnic at a park. The Mashed potatoes/coleslaw was the best part but unfortunately it wasn't an extremely generous portion. Perhaps if we ate inside, the atmosphere would've been nice, & maybe the food portions larger?

Ordered takeout again and they are still packaging tho he incorrectly. This time they even forgot the bread, unfortunately. Not sure if it was an off day, but the Alice Springs Chicken didn't have any mushrooms in it, and did not get the side of veggies! Very disappointed.

Bloomin' onion

Outback sent us a coupon for a free bloomin' onion, so we came for dinner tonight. The bloomin' onion was good but I couldn't eat more than 3 pieces as it iwas very greasy. Hubby decided to try their hamburger this time instead of the steak. He thought it was good. He also liked the baked potato soup. And of course, he enjoyed the cheesecake with raspberry sauce for dessert. I had a bite of the cheesecake but it was too sweet for me, especially the sauce. I went with the baby back ribs since last time I had the steak a couple of months ago, it was not good. The ribs were lean and tender but not very meaty. My wedge salad came with hardly any blue cheese on it. I had to ask the waiter to bring me some. I was so full so took the cheesecake to go. I'm sure hubby will enjoy it. I am more of a picky eater than him. :) We had Ryan as our server and service was good.

9 OZ Sirloin Steak and Coconut Shrimps with 2 Sides.

We planned a special steak dinner and we picked Outbackhouse. We ordered the 9 OZ Sirlon steak and Coconut shrimp combo and we were very pleased with how the food tasted, how fast and how pleasant the service was. Our main server, Garrett was responsive and efficient. The place was busy with big screens everywhere so maybe not much of an ambiance, but overall, we had a number of other servers coming out with salad, tummy fresh bread, and two meals were out in less than 15 minutes.

Free parking lot. Located next to Sherwin Williams. Same decor as all the other outbacks. Woodsy theme. Lots of booths. Electronic device at every table that can be used to pay for your check and gaming. WARNING: the games charge a $2.99 fee and shows up on your check. You get asked 3x whether you approve the charge but obviously kids don't know and they just keep clicking and you find out later. Staff will not deduct the charges as they claim you definitely were playing with it. Complimentary bread and butter- delicious and warm. Blooming onion a bit too spicy for kids. Also very salty. Didn't love it. Wouldn't order it again. The prime rib was very good. Tender, juicy, red and bloody just the way I like it. Sirloin is pretty ok, ordered it as a combo with lobster. Salad was basic diner style with lettuce, lots of creamy dressing, tomatoes and croutons. Beer choices are good. Mac and cheese was ok only, very heavy but not creamy. Fries are super long, good. You can't print out receipt so you have to share either a phone number or email to get a copy- which is unfavorable since not everyone wants to share personal information. Staff is kind, attentive and easy to reach.

12oz Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Fresh Steamed Seasonal Veggies, Homestyle Mashed Potatoes
Bobby B.

Not sure who to blame, Outback Steakhouse or Door Dash... but then Outback is the one who contracts with Door Dash, so... No utensils were included, even though I was obviously staying at a hotel. The "Slow Roasted Prime Rib" was cold and unappetizing (quite bit of fat and gristle). I think mainly it was the fact that it was stone cold made it unappealing. The "Homestyle Mashed Potatoes" were at least mildly warm, though a bit meh. The "Fresh Steamed Seasonal Veggies" (yes, plural) was only broccoli, but at least it was warm(ish). Honestly, the side of bread was the best part.

They always fly all the military service flags; particularly poignant on Memorial Day.

Completely worth another review. Where do I begin?? Love the local vibe, high school football helmets and a shout out to our beloved US Marines! Here for grandson's 17th birthday. He requested this brand/location. It resulted in an exceptional experience; our server voluntarily catering to our athlete's genuine need for water. Eleasha L is a ROCKSTAR! Her service was exceptional and she was busy. I gush because it speaks to this restaurant's management and what you can count on a day to day basis. We ordered four steaks, salmon, the quintessential "Bloomin Onion" and various sides. There was a need for take home boxes but only because of huge portions - it was delicious and perfectly executed/cooked. Great for families! .

In some dishes, that flavor profile worked really well, but in others, it definitely didn't land the same way. We started with the warm artisan rosemary focaccia served with whipped honey butter. The bread itself had that same subtle tang I noticed throughout the meal, but the honey butter balanced it out nicely. The added sweetness helped cut through the tang, making it much more enjoyable overall. Next, we had the baked skillet mac and cheese, which was easily the standout of the entire meal. I don't say this lightly, but it was about as close to perfect as mac and cheese can get. It was rich, creamy, well-seasoned, and had that ideal baked texture on top. This dish alone made a strong impression. We also ordered the cast iron roasted Brussels sprouts. These had a similar tangy-sweet flavor like the focaccia, and overall they were actually quite good. However, the raisins added to the dish didn't really contribute anything meaningful. At first glance, I even thought they were corn, which was confusing. While the sprouts themselves were well-cooked and flavorful, the raisins felt unnecessary and didn't elevate the dish. The Caesar salad was probably my least favorite item. I'm not entirely sure why it was labeled a Caesar salad, because it didn't resemble the classic version at all. The Tijuana vinaigrette was extremely overpowering and leaned heavily acidic, almost like eating straight lemon. It lacked the creamy, rich, balanced flavor you expect from a traditional Caesar, which made it disappointing. For the main, I had the prime 10oz flat iron steak frites. The steak itself was cooked perfectly and had great flavor, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, the fries were cold when they arrived, which took away from the overall experience of the dish. Overall, the meal was okay. It's not something I would rave about, but it might be worth trying at least once. With such a limited menu, I expected a bit more consistency and refinement across the dishes. It wasn't the worst meal I've had, but it also wasn't the best just somewhere in the middle.

As for the food, just don't go into it expecting Selanne's Steak Tavern or Mastro's. I specifically wanted halibut and ordered the panko halibut. The fish itself was good and not overly fishy, which I prefer, but overall it felt more like an upscale fish and chips dish than a true fine dining halibut entrée. The potatoes were good, but I didn't care for the pasta at all. It was very dry. The salad tasted good, but it was nowhere near worth the price. It had maybe two tomatoes and a light sprinkle of nuts. At $13, it felt extremely overpriced. Would I come back? Probably not. For the price, I expected more, and the fish was really the only thing I genuinely enjoyed. That said, it is a nice addition to the area since there honestly aren't many places around like it. The biggest downside for me was really the side dishes overall. The pasta and salad just didn't match the pricing or the level the restaurant seems to be aiming for. I also wasn't a fan of the music. The atmosphere would fit much better with more of a Frank Sinatra style instead of what sounded like generic 90s elevator music in the background. Overall, for the area, it's a nice spot. But for the price point, there are definitely better options.

The food, ambiance, and overall setting were excellent. Unfortunately, the end of the night left a very disappointing impression. The ladies at our table asked about the crab special and decided to order it based on the server's presentation and recommendation. At no point was the price of the entrée clearly disclosed. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see each crab entrée was $265, totaling $530 for two dishes! (see picture) Had the pricing been transparently shared, we absolutely would have made a different decision. To make matters worse, the restaurant had run out of Macallan, so we were served Glenlivet instead, yet we were still charged for Macallan on the bill. When I raised the concern, management did remove the incorrect drink charges and provided a partial credit toward the crab entrée, which I appreciate. However, what was most disappointing was being told that the server claimed he had disclosed the crab pricing--which was simply not true. That felt less like hospitality and more like protecting the waiter at the expense of the customer experience. For a special occasion like a 20th anniversary dinner, transparency matters just as much as great food. I still enjoy this restaurant and hope this was an isolated experience, but honesty and clear communication should always come first--especially at this level of dining.
