My kickball team came here to celebrate our tournament championship win! We were a big group, and although we had a bit of a wait, the experience was completely worth it. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. They even gave each of us a free drink to congratulate us! Despite our large group, they were highly professional and incredibly patient with all of our orders. They brought out some complimentary bread with their divine-tasting butter. For appetizers, we ordered a few Bloomin' Onions and Aussie Cheese Fries for the tables. All went down great with our pre-dinner drinks--some of us definitely got a head start on those! The food came out perfectly and right on time. Everyone got exactly what they wanted. I went with the 5oz sirloin & Alice Springs Chicken entrée, with sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes. I basically scarfed the whole thing down, except for a few asparagus pieces that one of my teammates finished off for me! lol. It was the perfect place to end our night. My most recent experience annoyed me. I hadn't been here in quite a while. We sat down and were presented menus. I ended up ordering a stead and then ordered a side salad. My husband ended up getting chicken and a side salad. It was about 3/4 of the way through the meal that I see our server talking about a $14.99 multi-course promotion, and then handed special menus to them. Umm... what? Is there a reason we weren't offered that? I'm not confrontational, so I didn't mention it. But also haven't been back there since then. And probably won't go back for a good long while. I met a friend here for lunch recently. We arrived around 12:45pm and the restaurant was pretty busy. We opted to sit in the bar area since there were no booths available in the main dining area. This area has seating at the bar and some two seat booths around the perimeter. The bartender, who was also our main server, greeted us promptly and a loaf of their complementary wheat bread arrived at our table shortly thereafter. We both ordered the Victoria's 9 oz Filet Mignon ($39.99). The 6 oz size of the steak is $33.99, so it is a no-brainer to get the extra 3 oz for only $6 more. This is a great deal for a 9 oz filet mignon. I ordered a house salad with blue cheese dressing and veggies for my sides. PRO TIP: My friend lives nearby and has dined here quite a few times. He is on the carnivore diet and before we ordered he chuckled "too bad I can't get bacon for a side" to which I replied "why not ask?". The server checked with the kitchen and lo and behold, they brought him six slices of bacon for his two sides. I'm sure that will be his standard side order from now on. I understand they are pretty busy around lunch time, but it was 30 minutes before our steaks finally came out. I always order filet mignon cooked "medium rare +" and when I cut into it, the center was rare. I waited for five minutes for a server to stop by to see if everything was ok, but I ended up having to go find a server to have the kitchen cook it more. Then it took almost fifteen minutes for my steak to come back, and in the meantime my friend had already finished eating. An improperly cooked steak should be expedited. When my steak finally returned to the table, it was tender and flavorful. It's always a treat to enjoy 9 oz versus the standard 5 oz or 6 oz. The broccoli was ok. In hindsight, I should have put a little salt or butter on it. My house salad was fresh and included tomato, cucumber, onion, cheese, and croutons. The blue cheese dressing had good flavor. I hadn't seen my friend in quite a while, and we ended up chatting for almost two and a half hours. After we finished eating, it seems like our service basically ended as our drinks were only refilled once in all that time. Service in general seemed a little lacking on this occasion, especially when it came to my steak. My final rating is 3.5 stars with a gracious upgrade to 4 stars. I will probably return here to meet my friend again in the future. Hopefully, things will go a little smoother next time. read more

We dined on a Friday afternoon and it felt oddly empty, but we weren't deterred; crowded restaurants are the worst anyway! THE FOOD. - Bread (Complimentary). Warm brown bread; slightly sweet with an oat-like flavor. The bread checks out! - Bloomin' Onion. Golden crispy batter was well-seasoned with soft, tender onion layers inside. I thought the creamy thousand island-like dipping sauce complemented the fried onions well. Overall, still a great appetizer to order for the table! - Blue Cheese Wedge Salad. Fresh and generously coated in thick, blue cheese dressing with balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on top. It was everything I'd expect from a wedge salad. - The Outback Burger. Classic burger with a juicy patty. - Outback Center-Cut Sirloin. I asked for the steak to be cooked to medium and not only did it arrive a bit too dry, but it was also under-seasoned. So that part was disappointing. However, the loaded baked potato was perfectly soft with all the fixin's on top. THE DRINKS. - Jameson Cream Soda. It was like a fizzy vanilla cream soda with a whiskey kick. Recommending trying this out! - Smoked Cinnamon Pecan Old Fashioned. Smooth, slightly sweet, with a warm slice and a hint of smokiness. It was served with a glass lid that locked in the aroma - definitely worth trying out too! THE PARKING. Plenty of free surface lot parking right by the restaurant. No issues finding an open spot. THE VERDICT. While the appetizers and drinks impressed, the steak fell short. I'm hoping this was a fluke because everything else was great! We celebrated our 62nd anniversary by getting curbside. We shared a Delmonico's ribeye and lobster, a baked potato with all the fixings, caesar salad and an appetizer of Bloom onion petals. We still had leftovers and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. I mentioned it was our anniversary and even though it was takeout, we got a complementary slice of cheese cake. It came with the cutest Koala bear straw hugger. Once we got our drink, we were obsessed! They were so cute and very tasty. We ordered steak, potatoes, and chili. Please avoid - I arrived at 9pm on a Thursday night and ordered an oil can fosters that was was okay but a bit on the warm side, a bloomin onion, and a bloomin burger. The local normal people at the bar were hammered and chirping at the waitress. When we ordered, one large fat man stood up and started playing with the waitresses hair and said "it's cool she's great, she doesn't care" very awkward and it made me want to beat his fat face in. Let's get to the bloomin burger...after eating the bloomin onion I didn't want anymore so I popped the top bun off of my bloomin burger and removed the bloomin onions, upon removing them I came across a large, long and thick black hair wrapped around one. I removed it and set it aside because I didn't want to ruin my friend's meal. Then as the bar crowd got rowdier, the same waitress that was getting her hair played with leaned in to them and started chatting and talking trash about other patrons. My friend and I were like "what happened to Outback!?" It had been about 10 years since I had visited one and I would never go to one again after this experience. I would give two stars, but I just can't. I'm not sure if the hair was an extremely long and thick pube or they don't require hair nets, either way - I'm out. I've told about 20 people since and they said I was brave for removing the hair and not saying anything. See photo for proof of the hair. It was strong enough to fish with. Horrible ambiance, the food was decent less the fishing line strength hair, and the service was fine, but I didn't care for them talking poorly about other customers, keep that to yourself. Try McDonalds if you are in the area. The auto-reply from management is the same for every bad review, so it's clear the actual establishment is not bothering to review anything. They gave us in end table that we wanted because of his stroller and we had the BEST service from Mary. She was so kind and gave us great service she really went above and beyond. She rocked the baby in his stroller when he started to cry and made him go to sleep by doing that. She was a mom herself. She also was just an excellent server. Great to talk to. The food was excellent and everyone at this location was so nice in accommodating. A steak, appetizer, side, and cheesecake is an amazing deal for just over $20. The seasoning flavor for the steak was great also. The "Slow Roasted Prime Rib" was cold and unappetizing (quite bit of fat and gristle). I think mainly it was the fact that it was stone cold made it unappealing. Well, we were halfway home and realized we forgot to take our packed leftovers. We immediately called the restaurant and told them we just left the restaurant less than 5 minutes ago. They told us everything was thrown away... We were flabbergasted and gutted to hear that it was immediately trashed. I was able to connect with the manager and they said it was set aside to be tossed, but that it wasn't in fact in the trash. Right away we knew this place was gonna slap. Our usual spot is packed, dirty and has limited parking. Scored front row parking at the end of the handicap. We were greeted by the best hosted, Darian. She was so friendly, welcoming and on top of everything. We got a clean booth, and our menus immediately. Even the menus were clean! I feel like this is pretty rare for any restaurant usually these hostesses are too fast paced and more intense when welcoming guests. Darian really made our experience so much better. Our waitress (her name escapes us she's got blonde braids) was so sweet, quick and consistent in checking in on us. Never did we have to wait for refills. Her customer service was spectacular- again pretty rare nowadays! Our food came super quick! Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Literally no complaints about this Outback. The neighborhood surrounding it brings in snobby incompetent residents I'm so glad they didn't ruin the vibe here cause this was the best experience we have ever had at an Outback.
