First time visit to Australia from California. Traveling by myself, I don't enjoy dining at anything too extravagant. I found myself at the Pacific Fair shopping centre and as I was searching online for lunch options on Google Maps - Outback came up. I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of Outback back in California, but... I felt compelled to visit Outback in the land down under.
Nothing surprising or very much different from Outback in the states. Overall though the meal was satisfying. Cold beer in a *very* chilled mug, good temperature and seasoning on the steak (my wife would probably claim too salty though) and soft bread with some kind of soft whipped butter.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if you're visiting with family or friends. There're probably better options that are more unique. But... ignore that, solid place. read more
