I leave, my daughter calls me and said the shop said her hair was too thick. She needed to get it blown out which was extra. I came back in the lady said we can do the rollerset. They charged my daughter not only for the rollerset still charged her for the blow out of her hair but charged her extra $20 because they said her hair was thick and long. I used to get my hair done there and my hair was in the rollerset. I knew they weren't being honest. Once we didn't want the extras they charged her knowing she was a young would not even think about what the price was supposed to be and what they now quoted her. ​

It actually was a great idea since I'm growing my hair. My hair was braided flawlessly!!! I am severely tender-headed and Pam did awesome work. She doesn't pull your scalp and has a nice steady rhythm. I had to go back because there wasn't enough hair sew in at the top and I'm very, very particular about tracks showing. They should never show, ever. I was taken back a little that no one noticed my tracks were showing or initiated fixing it. A customer is walking PR. However, they were kind and professional about getting it right!! It didn't take long at all. I'm enjoying my weave!!! There is an opportunity for better communication. I didn't know the girl who greeted me worked there initially, or that multiple people were doing my hair and sometimes the owner talks over you but I like her. Overall, the staff is sweet, they have good hygiene and are knowledgeable. I also like how the owner is open to learn from her staff and vice versa. I will definitely come back! The atmosphere is peaceful; not a lot of gossiping or cursing and it's clean/nicely decorated. Great weaves in Philly are hard to come by, but there is potential here for sure!!! I told her l wanted to change my hairstyle to a half of sew in weave a more affordable hairstyle. When l got to her shop,she was showing me wigs. I told her l already purchased my own hair. She had put that away. How are you going to tell me to put $100 hair away. Then she told me l was late and that she did not have time to do the half of sew in weave of lace closure. I looked at her like she was crazy. She called me and said she was late.. All this is on her video by the way. She finally talked me into getting a wig.. Then l gave her 279 plus 20 in cash. I'm not sure how she go my card number from a pervious transaction. She ran the card and took an extra 119 dollars off my card. Making me pay for 420 dollars instead of 300 dollars. She took a small footage of her tape.and placed it on her page making it seem like l never paid her in cash.She has so many people saying horrible things about me under the comment..She still has not played the whole footage if her refusing not to use the hair l brought, do a cheaper style,and accusing me l being late.A day after l brought the wig it balled up. A so called 300 dollar wig balled up and turned into a birds nest over night..Look at the picture below..l paid$ 279 dollars in cash plus 20 dollars in cash..lm l wrong for disputing the other $119 in charges that l did not authorize. You got my video up but why don't she play the whole video from start to finish. She the problem always trying to push what she want on her customers. For some reason my desired hair style is a difficult one to get stylists to cut accurately and even when I show them a photo I'm often unhappy with the results. Not Kayla! She gets it right every time. Ground Zero isn't just a business, they are part of the neighborhood. If you need a haircut you should definitely check them out!
