Welcome to Our Little Red Schoolhouse, where every child is nurtured, supported, and encouraged to grow through play, creativity, and meaningful connection.
As a former educator, mother, and grandmother, I understand the importance of ensuring that young children feel safe, loved, and valued—especially during their earliest years. At Our Little Red Schoolhouse, we provide a warm, caring environment where your child can learn, explore, and build confidence at their own pace.
With a strong focus on early childhood development, social-emotional growth, and hands-on learning, our dedicated team works each day to make sure every child feels happy, secure, and excited to come to school.
Founded by an educator with over 25 years of experience, Our Little Red Schoolhouse – Spring was created to offer families a trusted, high-quality childcare option rooted in compassion, education, and genuine care.
History
Established in 2019.
Our Little Red Schoolhouse has been under new management since 2019.
Juanita and her amazing staff have transformed both the educational and recreational experiences we offer, ensuring your child enjoys a fun, enriching, and memorable time with us.
Our Schoolers Program provides an engaging environment for students before and after their long school day. Our classrooms and activities are thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of school-age children. Students enjoy opportunities for arts and crafts, structured outdoor play, and dedicated homework time. While our program is structured, we also make sure students have time to relax, socialize, and participate in hands-on activities with their friends.
We offer before- and after-school transportation to and from surrounding schools for your convenience. A Summer/Vacation Program is also available for families who are interested—please see the director for more information.
Meet the Business Owner: Juanita A.
I am a retired administrator with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Academic Studies. With 25 years of experience in public education, I bring not only extensive knowledge but also a deep, natural commitment to supporting your child’s learning and well-being.
Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, skills specialist, and associate principal at both elementary and intermediate schools. These roles have equipped me with the expertise to create an engaging, safe, and enriching environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Although I am retired, my passion for students and education continues to guide everything I do. This truly is a labor of love—and I am honored to support your child’s growth and happiness each day.
