Loved this place from the moment I walked in. We were looking for a place to watch a few of the sports games last night and this fit the bill and then some. When you walk in you can see the different sections that it's comprised of, with the main bar on the right, a gaming and sports loungey area (with couches to sit down and play or watch the game!!!!) just slight past that, and a main dining area further straight ahead. I was caught off guard over the fact that even as a gaming bar, there is a very fancy feel to it, to the point that it has a separate private room that is closed off, with a nice wine collection in it.
Sat down with friends and we enjoyed some PS5 games on the lower right portion of the big monitor while the rest of us watched some baseball and later on the Nuggets/Timberwolves game. Rebeca paid close attention to us the entire night and her service and attitude were exceptional. She recommended several of the dishes that we ended up trying, including the Bacalao and Manchego Croquetas (easily one of the best appetizers I've had in the last few years), as well as the ribs (amazingly sauced and fall-apart tender). She even told us about a few off-menu items, like the Big Boss Burger which I can't tell how big the patty was but it was huge and very well stuffed and cooked to perfection.
Drink selection was prime. I had a mule which is my go-to but it tasted crisper than usual, so I asked and they told me they make the ginger beer for it in-house. Good whiskey and bourbon selections as well.
And GAMES. Not just videogames too (there's a lot of that, including an arcade cabinet for two people to play fighting games there!!!!!) but they also had a giant Jenga, a big connect four, and several other smaller games in order to be able to appease crowds with kids.
A lot of the menu is videogame themed, which is by design, but don't let it put you off from taking the place seriously. This is very well run and I'm already looking for reasons to go back again. read more
