Loved this place from the moment I walked in. We were looking for a place to watch a few of the…read moresports games last night and this fit the bill and then some. When you walk in you can see the different sections that it's comprised of, with the main bar on the right, a gaming and sports loungey area (with couches to sit down and play or watch the game!!!!) just slight past that, and a main dining area further straight ahead. I was caught off guard over the fact that even as a gaming bar, there is a very fancy feel to it, to the point that it has a separate private room that is closed off, with a nice wine collection in it. Sat down with friends and we enjoyed some PS5 games on the lower right portion of the big monitor while the rest of us watched some baseball and later on the Nuggets/Timberwolves game. Rebeca paid close attention to us the entire night and her service and attitude were exceptional. She recommended several of the dishes that we ended up trying, including the Bacalao and Manchego Croquetas (easily one of the best appetizers I've had in the last few years), as well as the ribs (amazingly sauced and fall-apart tender). She even told us about a few off-menu items, like the Big Boss Burger which I can't tell how big the patty was but it was huge and very well stuffed and cooked to perfection. Drink selection was prime. I had a mule which is my go-to but it tasted crisper than usual, so I asked and they told me they make the ginger beer for it in-house. Good whiskey and bourbon selections as well. And GAMES. Not just videogames too (there's a lot of that, including an arcade cabinet for two people to play fighting games there!!!!!) but they also had a giant Jenga, a big connect four, and several other smaller games in order to be able to appease crowds with kids. A lot of the menu is videogame themed, which is by design, but don't let it put you off from taking the place seriously. This is very well run and I'm already looking for reasons to go back again.

T-Mobile District was such a fun place to visit at night! There are tons of restaurant options, but…read morewe chose this one because it had the biggest variety of different types of food. We ordered an appetizer, a burger, pasta, and a traditional Puerto Rican dish, and everything was delicious. It also seems like a great place to catch a game, with huge screens in the middle of the district and TVs throughout the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the service was great, and the restaurant was spotless. My only complaint--and this seems to be true almost everywhere we've been in San Juan--is that it was freezing inside. Definitely bring a light sweater if you get cold easily! Would definitely recommend!

We paid $101.95 in advance and arrived about 10 minutes before kickoff. Despite arriving before the match started, we were not seated. Staff spent several minutes "checking on it," and after the match had already begun, we were simply told there was "a problem with the table," with no clear explanation. From what I could see, it appeared our table may have been given away or the event may have been oversold. What made it worse was watching people from the walk-in line continue to be let inside while we stood there with our reservation. We were eventually invited to wait inside, but that meant standing in the doorway, directly in the servers' path, while the match was already underway. What bothered me most was the complete lack of respect, honesty, and basic hospitality. A simple, "We're sorry, we made a mistake. Let's get you inside, find you a seat at the bar, and put a cold beer in your hand while we sort this out," would have changed the entire experience. Instead, we were left standing around like an inconvenience. The frustrating part is that punctuality only seemed to matter when it benefited them. We missed the start of the match because of their reservation issue, and then when the match ended, we were asked to leave immediately before we had even finished our beer. It ruined the whole point of coming: watching the Brazil match in a sports-bar atmosphere for a birthday night. If you take prepaid reservations for a game-day event, honor them. If something goes wrong, own it and fix it. This experience was a huge disappointment.

We were greeted, seated inside, and our order was taken with no issues. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill and became one of the most unsanitary restaurant experiences I've ever witnessed. While we were waiting on our food, a man walked in with a dog. It was obvious the staff knew him because several employees immediately started interacting with the dog. The first thing I noticed was our waitress using both of her hands to pet the dog while the dog repeatedly licked her hands. In my mind, I thought surely she would go wash or sanitize her hands afterward. Instead, she proceeded directly toward the kitchen area and started preparing the condiments for our burgers without washing or sanitizing her hands at all. She then brought those condiments directly to our table. At that point, I politely told her she needed to wash her hands and that we no longer wanted the condiments. She walked away to the back, but the situation only got worse from there. The dog was approximately one foot away from our table the entire time. Personally, I do not believe dogs belong inside restaurants, especially around food preparation areas. Dogs carry germs, and anyone who owns dogs knows one of the first things they do when greeting other dogs is sniff each other's private areas. Watching staff pet the dog and immediately return to handling food and kitchen items without washing their hands was honestly disgusting. As we waited for the manager, another employee came up and allowed the dog to lick all over his hands. Right after that, he proceeded directly into the kitchen area to continue cooking food -- again, no hand washing, no sanitizer, nothing. We watched at least three more employees interact with the dog and only one person actually washed their hands afterward. When the manager finally came over, I explained exactly what had happened and asked him if he truly believed this was sanitary. His response was basically that dogs are welcome in the establishment and that he would "tell the staff to wash their hands." His attitude came across very dismissive, like he really didn't care about the seriousness of the situation. At that point, I asked for the bill for our drinks because there was absolutely no way I was going to eat food from an establishment operating like that. To make matters even worse, while we were paying, the man with the dog proceeded to take the dog toward the back near the kitchen area. Completely unacceptable and unsanitary. I understand some places are dog-friendly, but there still has to be health standards and proper hygiene when employees are handling food. Watching staff pet and get licked by a dog and then immediately touch food items and kitchen equipment without washing their hands ruined the entire experience for me. I will definitely not be returning.
