It's such a special treat to see so much authentic Cherokee art for sale, with beautiful works at every price range. There's truly something for everyone. The gift shop is really pretty too, with prints, stained glass, and even supplies like reed for basket making. Bonus: There's a café on-site as well (I hope to try those Indian taco sliders next time!). The Spider Gallery is a highlight of the Cherokee art walk experience in downtown Tahlequah. It's part of the Cherokee Cultural Pathway, a free outdoor walkway featuring large-scale art by Cherokee Nation artist Keli Gonzales, on display through October 4, 2026. The Pathway connects to other must-see stops like the Cherokee National History Museum and the Cherokee National Prison Museum. If you're in Tahlequah and want to experience beautiful Native American art, definitely check out The Spider Gallery.

It's a very lovely space with lots of Cherokee art…read moreranging anywhere from $10 of prints or postcards to $12,000 of large paintings or handmade pottery. There was a wide variety of quality artwork available that really showcased the culture of Tahlequah as well as their Cherokee heritage. The Spider Gallery has a perfect location of being in central downtown on Muskogee, or as Tahlequaians say, Main Street. You can also find tools and supplies for many traditional art making mediums including basket weaving and pottery. The gallery opens up to a long corridor with bistro tables and two meeting rooms next door. You'll definitely want to visit the Cherokee Art Center which is right around! The name "Spider Gallery" is taken from traditional Cherokee folklore.
