I purchased a couch and a leather chair from this business. They specialize in very professionally made slip covered couches that look fantastic with very good quality fabrics and furniture. Looking online, almost no one had white/cream colored slip-covered couches, though they seem to be shown in every magazine. I wanted a breezy look but good quality. I nearly made the dreadful mistake of buying from "Restoration Hardware" but upon checking their reviews - I found their reviews to be shockingly horrible - with complaints bordering on fraud. I was then worried about buying online. Thankfully, I found these people online. They are located in Florida but you can find them online with helpful photos, and they deliver. This outfit had only one review that I could find here, and a few on their site I believe. What convinced me was the very personal service: there are only a couple of people who you will deal with - it is NOT a huge corporation with representatives distanced from their product line.; it is a local business and everyone there knows what they are talking about to the smallest of details. They even helped me pick the couch accepting cell phone photos of my living room to aid in helping me make a choice. They even extended the sale price for me while I was making my decision about the fabric choice. Also, the manufacturers of the furniture can be looked up and one can see that they are reputable. I cannot begin to express how satisfied I am. It is really hard to make a decision about furniture online, so personal service and quality is crucial. The couch is just outstanding...folks the quality is incomparable. Thick, quality fabric, beautifully and durably sewn and a nice tight fit - but not so tight that it will rip when you take the slip-cover off. The couch itself SOLID! The weight alone will convince you of that. The leather chair is exactly as described and just beautiful. They also really helped with the color which wasn't easy to decide from online pictures of the leather color choices. They will send you fabric samples for the slip covers for the couches and chairs - which of course made it SOOO much easier. Service was absolutely impeccable - very detail oriented, and the delivery was very professional - even put the cover on, which they didn't need to do as it was quite simple. Don't spend you money anywhere else. If you have seen those pictures of those beautiful white slip covered chairs and couches (or other colors), and you wondered where to get that - look no further than here. I never give my email out publicly, but if you suffered over decisions like I did over what furniture to plunk down your hard-earned money on, and you want to be sure, you can talk to me at lamusto@hotmail.com Laurel M. read more

We ordered from them online. Highly recommend you don't make the same mistake. They forced delivery of a highly damaged, 2K+ trunk on us even AFTER we initially refused delivery, stopped the credit card charge and told Karen (owner) over the phone we would not accept the trunk. Trunk arrived in a CARDBOARD box with holes in it. Karen refused to listen. Had Estes re-deliver the trunk the next day. We arrived when they were leaving. They saw us bike up to the house but still left despite trying to flag them down. We opened the box with the holes in it and were not shocked to find a highly damaged trunk. See pics on Houzz review. Karen is very rude, deceptive and we highly recommend not purchasing anything from them online. Buyer beware. read more

i ordered over $40,000 worth or product. beds ,chairs, chaise loungers, rugs, cabinets., pendants. i notified upon delivery karen the owner the slipcovers to the beds did not fit. too much fabric photos were sent. she will not resolve the problem and im stuck with having to put out more money of my own to fix the issues . i have bar stools rattan pulling apart, cabinet shelves warped, cabinet doors wont latch pendants too large for the island in kitchen and gold paint peeling off them as well. i have a wood table ordered in dec. still not recd. put a charge back to her on my credit card only few days before my 6 month time period was to expire. turns out table was never ordered. had to chase month of march , april and now may only to be told it will arrive every month delayed one month after another. turns out it was never ordered.!!! she never intended on producing the table. to find out what she acutally intended on doing was attempting to apply my money i pd for the table for bogus shp charges that she was not transparent about and sent an invoice for a bogus amount that reflected none of the specific items ordered either. just a bogus one $ amt invoice. who knows where tht number came from ?? i told her my table purchase was for the table and nothing else. it was purchased in full pmt dec 18. told march delivery approx first to second week. here it is may now. no table. she wants to use my table money to pay for bogus shp costs when she will not reconcile with me and find resolution to fix the defective products i have recd. . she has stuck with me with defective products. all listed above in this memo review. she banters in long text messages and will not offer one bit of resolve for any thing. nothing. she has threatened me as well . beware of buying from her. she operates out of her house. is currently in some legal battle with her sister in law that also has to do with her business apparently. she shared this with me direclty on a call months ago. i have delayed sending these reviews out in hopes she would get the slip covers fixed so they fit properly and or replaced. along with other defective items. i have a hot mess left to deal with as she provides zero customer service. also adding to this the table that i still dont have and have done a charge back on my credit card so i dont lose this money. she nor anyone on website bothered to notify of further delays regarding this table. i had to chase the issue down each month. only to be told it would delay another month. with no window time frame. just a month to month . not acceptable in my book. she will not apply my funds she has recd for a table never delivered to whatever she chooses outside of the table itself. the game as i see it : she was trying to push the time frame into me not being able to dispute the charge. , going past 6 months. as it is i was just a few days prior to that time frame expiring on me! she never ordered the table. only invoiced me for it . thats the truth of the matter here. using it to cover expenses for other things outside of what i actually pd for and did not receive. its deceiving , underhanded and dishonest as i see it in my opinion. she never produced actual shp costs from the respective companies. only sent a lump sum invoice number she pulled out of a hat. i asked for option of two resolutions. have defective itmes picked up. and retd and cashiers ck to me for what i paid. as i cant trust once she would pick them up. id be out the money as well. or have the issues fixed. repaired. , the slipcovers refit or remade to fit the beds properly. she will do neither. has not attempted for over 2 months to reach out. do anything for me for resolve of any kind as well! only did she start in may 4 bantering and threatening me on text messages when i told her i was doing a charge back for the table never recd. my credit card company has issued a credit and i have sent in a detailed form concerning this. its really bad what i have epxerienced here overall. she has done nothing but invoice and collect money. she does not back up customer satisfaction on any level whatsoever. if product is damaged. defective or ill fitting its customers problem. and she does nothing. she can banter in texting. exhausting for me. i told her the issues. offered two acceptable resolutions. yet she offers nothing. and goes silent at this point. she did threaten me however in the course of here texts. and i was very very clear the table not recd will be a charge back to her and has nothing to do with anything else. i see clearly now all she did was collect more money from me in dec and held it in her account for whatever she wanted . not going to happen. i got the dispute it in time thank god read more

One star, because I couldn't leave zero. We initially placed the item in the shopping cart, and then immediately got emails like "hurry up, only 8 left in stock". We purchased online a very nice coffee table for $3500.00. At the time of the purchase, shipping was $325 and then white glove delivery was offered for an additional $175. We declined white glove delivery which was described as bringing the item inside the house because it was heavy. The website clearly stated that white glove delivery was optional, and it stated moving men would carry the item in your house because it was heavy. The order went through, card was charged 3800.00 on August 26, 2025. Five days later we get an email saying that now they want another $175 for white glove delivery. I denied that add on service, stating item is going in the garage and a moving company will later take it to my new house which is being built. Had to argue back and forth about the white glove delivery as it was NOT required at the time of purchase. If it was, that would have been part of the initial charge and order on my credit card. Told Karen to refund my card as the phone call was argumentative as the add on service was not required to place the order when they immediately charge my credit card. Magically upon hearing that I wanted a refund, white glove delivery was not required, as long as I agreed to take the table from the truck curbside, which I agreed to. I never wanted delivery men coming inside my house anyway because the item wasn't going inside. September 22, 2025, approximately 27 days later, no table, no emails, no tracking number nothing. My wife called there today, got hung up on twice. I had to call back from a different phone, and Karen answered and told me that they were on the road and the phone must have disconnected, yet it didnt disconnect during her phone call with me. I asked about the order and she had no information, only stating she would get back to me by the end of the day. I called my credit card company and reported the fraud. While speaking to the fraud department, I came across recent reviews about this company and Karen. Not surprising. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. read more

My experience with Our Boat House has been unequivocally the worst I have ever experienced. After months of shipping delays the bed I ordered arrived severely damaged. Numerous attempts to contact the company went unanswered. The one time I spoke to someone, they said the bed was scheduled to be picked up. Nobody called. Nobody showed up. It has been weeks of stress and drama. Do not order from this company. They have no standards, no customer service, and absolutely do not stand by their products. I am not entirely sure it isn't a scam. It is the most disappointing shopping experience I have ever had. Please learn from my miserable experience and save yourself the headache, the expense and the trouble!! read more

Had ordered some beautiful coral pieces and was very pleased. Ordered a $3400 Coffee table On October 17th of this year. Had to contact their white glove delivery specialist name was sun delivery And they placed my coffee table on the wrong truck. I actually had to contact the store and they gave me the phone number of sun delivery as they weren't going to follow up on it. Find it hard to believe that a company would not follow up on a $3300 order for one of their customers. It's now mid December And the owner of our boat house still cannot get ahold of the manager at their delivery place so I have no idea where it is or when it's going to be here. My biggest issue is the fact that nobody followed up on my order it was entirely on me to follow up on a $3300 order absolutely ridiculous. After texting with the owner of our boat house she agreed to refund me every penny that I paid and now she's shorting me $322.50 for shipping and taxes on something that I never received. Beautiful furniture beautiful items but the lack of service is absolutely horrible. If you're gonna order something I would recommend going directly to the store that you want to purchase it from because you can't rely on these businesses to follow up and ensure that their customers have number one receive their product and number 2 are pleased with the process. $200 for a white glove service I didn't get any service I got nothing I got nada. read more

We were sold on buying furniture from Our Boat House. We liked the furniture they have so we paid the $500 design fee, thinking we would be spending a lot more than $5000 and the cost of the design fee would be subtracted from the cost of the furniture we would purchased. We met with the owner and one designer and told them specifically what we were looking for. We also specified what furniture was recently purchased and needed to be included in the new design. Later, when we had a review of the plan over the phone, the owner was no where to be found, but a designer by the name of Jonathan directed the meeting and presented their plan. Only two options- neither plan included our furniture that we told them we wanted to keep since it was only 4 months old. Jonathan referred to it as, "previously owned furniture". Also included in the plan was a mirror topped table, I told them that I have two grand children and wanted no glass. So the meeting ended on a flat note, we felt unheard. Designers can be somewhat useless if they don't take the goals of the client in mind. We not only wasted the $500 design fee, but we will never set foot in the store again. We wrote them an email explaining how we felt, and received a total blowoff response. How sad when a customer is sold on your product and wants to take advantage of your "free design service" and is so turned off by the process that they walk from the $500 and never return. Upon further research, even though they claim the majority of their furniture is from the US, I found most of it is from China and overpriced. Some products are from Wayfair!!! Beware and go elsewhere. read more

Came across Our Boat House while shopping online. Love the style and quality is very good. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

My wife and I were looking for interior furnishings that were unique, bespoke and not right off the shelf. The selection was amazing

This store is extremely overpriced and the owner Christine is really pushy. Be careful if you purchase anything and they say you can exchange it, don't believe them or get it in writing. I was there shopping with a friend and Christina bullied us into purchasing some items. She was so pushy overbearing. You can find similar items at other stores or online for half the price. read more

So let me start with the furniture that we received( key word received ) is nice! We ordered 13 pieces costing more then 25,000 in this store all paid up front ( this will become an issue if u have a problem FYI) The issues are customer service with the owners and a few of the employees. They are disorganized, not truthful and the most frustrating people I have ever dealt with! The owners can't keep there stories straight, they promise to follow up with information and never do!( please be prepared to spend a lot of time calling them and document EVERYTHING) In the end I did not receive 2 swivel chairs that were ordered in September 2021 yet they had them in stock and sold to other customers in June 2022 After months of fighting we finally were refunded the money for the swivel chairs but they would not refund me for the custom covers that were ordered for those chairs!! I now need to now find chairs that are the same size in order to use them ( I spent close to 3000 on the material) Be very wary if you choose to shop here and read the other recent reviews.. many had the same issues! read more

I give this a one only because the designers were nice and helpful, but the rest of the experience was awful. I ordered over $8500 worth of furniture and was told I would have it in 20 weeks. After nearly 8 months I had not even received a call letting me know it would be delayed. I had to call them to follow up. I was then notified it was complete and would be delivered soon. Another month went by and when I called I was then told that one of the couches I ordered was lost. They tried to offer other items but weren't very apologetic. In the end I cancelled the entire order. I don't think they were honest in the fact that they placed the order wrong because how do you lose a couch. I would not deal with them again and it's disappointing because I loved their products and would have gotten more in the future. read more

Beautiful furniture but TERRIBLE customer service. They couldn't have given a dam that we were in the store! Very happy with our experience at Our Boat House. I happened by one Sunday afternoon, and while I did not find what I was looking for on my first trip, I was made to feel very welcomed and valued by the owner, Christina, and her staff. This is not often the experience when shopping at other boutique furniture stops in the East Delray and Boca area. Several weeks later, my husband and I stopped back by and with the help of a stellar saleswoman, Susana, we came away with just the piece we had been looking for. Susana was attentive from start to finish. We look forward to returning to Our Boat House, as we continue to decorate our home. read more
