Massive piece of Halibut, cheap meal, stunning sauce, and the sweet potato fries were so so good. I am not usually an oyster person, but I did try one of these and again, so good. We really debated going back the next day, but already had dinner thawed at the airbnb. The atmosphere was so calm. I was shocked we were the only table there. The servers were so kind and the chef's daughter was practicing her violin. Just a great atmosphere with great vibes and fantastic food.

I know that's a great sign indicating the best that you possibly can if those folks come here for dinner. Service was impeccable, no wait and prompt delivery of our drinks than our meal my wife's pasta dish was also very excellent. We took leftovers home and enjoyed them twice!. The scallops were the best meal I had in Alaska this time after 16 days of traveling. I'd be really surprised if you went wrong at this venue, and I recommend it with all my heart and will do so to my best friends!

I ordered a pasta with white sauce and rock fish on top. My dinner came, the pasta was super spicy to the point where I could barely eat it. I asked my friend if his food was ok. He said it tasted a little weird. Asked me to taste my fish. My piece of fish was about 2 oz. and looked like it was an end piece or had freezer burn and they cut it off before cooking and serving. I tasted the fish, over seasoned and tasted like the freezer. I stopped eating that! That dish was $30. Dessert, usually don't- this time I ordered a Milton chocolate lava cake w/ vanilla ice cream. It was served frozen ( really!). $12 I got up and went to find our waiter. Came back and gave me another one, I can say if they didn't have a microwave they would be lost. Spent over $125. Won't go back anytime soon. I know Homer, has very good cooks. Y'all need to do better.

We got in about that time 5:30 or 6 ish and the place was quite empty. Obviously with all the construction outside, not a very pleasant looking place...the restaurant was also a bit dated and like I mentioned quite empty. However ee were seated at good table with a view of the lands end and also could watch the skillful bartender. We had Coconut prawns for appetizer and the prawns were huge with a great sauce but the coconut coating could have been better. Our kids had the mocktails of Honey Blossom and kenai colada and loved them both. My spurrita margarita was great and my husbands captains compass was also a very well made cocktail. For dinner we ordered the Alaskan fish & chips, Kachemak burger and Halibut Iliamana. The Iliamana had a nice crab dip sauce and the fish was perfectly cooked. Rice was a perfect company to it but the asparagus should have been trimmed, and hence wasnt very edible. Fish and chips were expectedly good. For dessert we shared the turtle cake and devoured it. Very good! Service was good enough.

Their menu is a little limited right now but they have a wonderful range of options and every single thing we ate was delicious. Halibut dip was delicious and a little spicy with plenty to share for the table of four. The curry was delicious and flavorful with perfectly fried fish and plantains that made the dish. Bison was well done and flavorful. Thai ribs were a surprise standout (we live in Alabama, who goes to Alaska to eat ribs, especially when there are good ones back home? Apparently we do). Tender and deliciously smothered with a Thai peanut sauce. The slaw was good and the Mac and cheese wholly unnecessary because of how good everything else was, but the Mac was decadent and incredible! The seafood stew was a standout. Huge amounts of crab in the stew and lots of flavor in the sauce. Huge portions of everything we had to skip desert. If you're in Homer, make sure to check it out!

It was exceptional - the skin was crunchy and the kale and curry sauce was perfect with the fish. My son loved his shrimp dumplings and my other kid enjoyed her Mac and cheese. My husband liked his sockeye but the highlight for him was the grilled bok choy. Crispy, smoky and perfectly cooked. Dessert of pot de creme was well received as well. Unfortunately their service left an overall bad experience for us. Our server was always in a rush, if we did manage to catch her attention.
