I have to completely agree with the previous review. Lodge was tired an dated and in dire need of updating, even though the description of the lodge was recently renovated. Handles were falling off and none of the windows has safety locks on them, extremely dangerous for a young family (we have twin toddlers that on more than one occasion nearly trapped their tiny fingers in!). The whole park was completely aimed at adults in my opinion, as the small pool had no baby change or sani bin for parents with babies, and nothing was open (including reception which was only open for a couple of hours a day!) The bin situation was a joke! No wheelie bins for the lodges, so when you had a full bag you had a five minute walk to the bin area just to dispose of it, as you were not allowed to leave them outside your lodge. We ended up putting them in our car and driving them there as with four children we would have had to traipse up there twice a day to dispose of it.not what you want on holiday. The worst part was the road up to the lodges. When walking back from the pool on our one and only stressful swim, there was no lighting at all, and the road was so dark you couldnt see your hand in front of your face. It was treacherouspot holes everywhere with no lighting.not ideal with a pushchair and a young childnot to mention if you were elderley! I would strongly advise the owner to sort it out before they are slapped with a costly law suit!! The gas and electric costs on top of and already expensive holiday were ridiculousfourty pounds for one week. We dont pay that much at home, and we have a 13 year old on xbox day and night and a washing machine on the go 24/7!! Service poor and seemed only interested in parting you from your cash.40 pence to purchase a ping pong ball for the privilege of playing.Daylight robbery. Avoid this park at ALL COST. Owners are clearly cheap skates. read more
