Came out on the Fourth of July for the fireworks and fishing. What a pleasant surprise. The new owners have cleaned and updated the entire facility. Fishing was fantastic and the fireworks rival any decent show. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. We stayed at the original "Dam" house which was clean and comfortable. Lots of first class RVs in the park which is always a sign of a good campground. We're definitely coming back next year! read more

We were at the Cafe yesterday afternoon. The food was amazing and the family vibes were contagious. From grandparents to parents to the kiddos waiting the tables, it was beautiful to see 3 generations of their family there. Everyone was super kind, loved what they were doing and super happy to be a part of the family business. We were just driving by and were hungry and you served us even though you were closing for the day, and that went a long way in our eyes. stopped for a picnic here and discovered I was having a low blood sugar reaction. Not having enough food with me I went in the café and I ordered the most glorious ever eaten. This place is definitely on the rustic side. But with new owners who are committed to improving and fixing this campground and marina I look forward to my next visit. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. They have their work cut out for them since the previous owners seemed to maintain the property with a patch and a prayer but already they have made significant improvement with cleaning being top of the list. We had a wonderful vacation here and will definitely be back. read more
