They do a really good job at promoting, and working with great local artists from not only Tijuana, but the entire region as well. Which is awesome because there is so much talent in this city, it's great to be able to appreciate this. They have several exhibitions and workshops that focus on different art forms. Amazing guest speakers too. If this is something you would be interested in you should sign up to their newsletter, you'll get the skinny right away. Even though they've only been open for less than a year, they already left a huge imprint in the city. If you get the chance, and are in the area you should totally come here and kill some time. In the graffiti, poems scribbled on the walls, dancers performing on the streets, local bands playing every chance they get... it's great! It's just a shame that the city lacks a cultural center that can hold and give home to this. It's because of that reason that I am a fan of every museum in Tijuana. This is obviously not an exception. You can easily identify the structure of this building miles away. It's huge! The good thing is that there is always a new exhibit on display. They really try to cover all grounds from photography to classical painting. Amazing lecturers as well, the curators do an amazing job at finding just the right talent to bring along. Just as a bonus tip, they do offer some art courses. For more information don't hesitate to contact them since the times/courses are always changing. I'm confident that they are all good though. The professors in here are knowledgeable and patient.

Their offerings are extensive and I tried to cover the entire museum in 2 hours. I will say though, that if you're short on time, do not skip this just because of that. The maps that they give out make it very simple to prioritize what you'd like to see and create a plan for that. I just wish we could have made some time to relax and enjoy everything. Next time!
