In the graffiti, poems scribbled on the walls, dancers performing on the streets, local bands playing every chance they get... it's great! It's just a shame that the city lacks a cultural center that can hold and give home to this. It's because of that reason that I am a fan of every museum in Tijuana. This is obviously not an exception. You can easily identify the structure of this building miles away. It's huge! The good thing is that there is always a new exhibit on display. They really try to cover all grounds from photography to classical painting. Amazing lecturers as well, the curators do an amazing job at finding just the right talent to bring along. Just as a bonus tip, they do offer some art courses. For more information don't hesitate to contact them since the times/courses are always changing. I'm confident that they are all good though. Their offerings are extensive and I tried to cover the entire museum in 2 hours. I will say though, that if you're short on time, do not skip this just because of that. The maps that they give out make it very simple to prioritize what you'd like to see and create a plan for that. I just wish we could have made some time to relax and enjoy everything. Next time!
