As I was travelling to the airport I couldn't afford to wait around to see if he was coming, nor call the office to see where he was so I had to make other arrangements. I also didn't think it should be my responsibility to call them chasing up the taxi - surely the office should call me to let me know the taxi was on the way?? However when the driver finally turned up he called me claiming to only be 10 minutes late (a lie) and complained to me that I hadn't cancelled him and even hung up on me! A formal complaint to the office was also unsatisfactorily handled. A loyal customer lost but they don't seem to care.

They have lots of helpful little extras, they will remember your phone number, your home address and your regular pick up points. They will also send a message to your mobile to let you know the taxi is outside. All there drivers are friendly and have a good knowledge of the local area. The cars are clean and of a high standard. I've only been let down by them not turning up once, and on the whole they are reliable and turn up when booked. They can get booked up though so best to pre-book a Friday or Saturday night journey home from town. They are also now advertising a travel to airport service.

They told me it would be another 5 or 10 minutes late. This did not leave any room for loading cases , paying , buying tickets etc. We had to take a taxi into Leeds to make our connection. Not with them.

The cost of the journey was £49, with a tip, £54. The same journey last year was £30 I thought the rise was excessive. I use Silsden taxis because they are competitive but this was pricey.
