You are always made to feel welcome in the shop and under no pressure to buy anything at all. The two guys (twins) who work here are always happy to help advise on any products giving an unbiased opinion to help out if your not quite sure what you are after. I generally come here for just my protein powders and multivitamins along with the odd other product such as creatine and weight gain (not that I've needed that much help with that a lately!!) and I have had the odd free t-shirt from them as a loyal customer which is a nice touch. But it is not only bodybuilding products which they sell the have a large selection of various remedies and what nots for colds bad backs and various other ailments which is not always available from boots as well as adding the personal touch of not being a big chain such as holland and barretts etc which in my opinion is a lot more expensive. I just hope the 20% VAT increase on sports products by the government as well as all the various different offers you get from online stores now doesn't put this independent little shop out of business as that would be a great shame.

From research, Ben looked like one of the top reviewed trainers in Manchester yet very reasonably priced. I have learned so much in the 18 months I've been training with him. Ben focuses on weight training - the area of the gym I used to shy away from! - but as well as an instructor you effectively get a nutritionist, life coach, and all round lovey guy! He somehow manages to make every lesson enjoyable, and the learning I've gained on diet and wellness will stay with me throughout life. I do both single and double lessons with my partner - I really enjoy both types. Having rarely done weight training before Ben (I pretty much only did cardio) I will also admit I was slightly skeptical when I started; to find I'd been training the wrong way pretty much all my life!
