I feel totally "burned" by our experience with Outer Banks elevator today. They installed our lift…read morein 2016 and have been okay in servicing it over the past 10 years. I called for an issue that was put in as a "service call", then I was asked when we last had maintenance. I agreed to having that done too since it had been a while. The tech David was incredibly nice and has been here before. His work amounted to about 20 min of time where the lift was raised a couple of times, greased and cables adjusted. My issue is how the office, specifically Nicole, handled our call to inquire how this very short visit came to $782.07 between three very confusing invoices we received by email. She was extremely condescending telling us to "calm down" and stating that we had to pay for the trip down here to Hatteras. Of course we planned on paying for the service, but we couldn't understand the 3 invoices they sent and wanted some clarity for the grossly overpriced fee for the service we received. Nicole could use some training in customer service because I bet if the situation were reversed she would be as confused and frustrated as we were. But, like the last person wrote there's no one else to service the lift here in the Outer Banks. All I can do is pass on my experience and hope that it helps someone else in the future. The additional fees are pretty outrageous, particularly the move out fees. Parking is also very tight and inconvenient unless you pay for private spaces. Again, the staff on site are great, but the extras and noise is a huge negative.

They are responsive to emails and phone calls and are always helpful. It feels like you're staying at a 4-star hotel. 2. On move-in, my apartment was immaculate. I've moved many times and rented all over the country, and this is by far the cleanest apartment I've ever moved into. There was fresh paint and brand new carpet throughout 3. This place is quiet, and I mean silent. Maybe I just have good neighbors, but when you walk the halls you would think the building was empty. It's so nice.
