Awesome Team. Awesome Service. Friendly, quick, and reliable…read more I took my Boat to Cogswell recently to have some basic work done and was really impressed with the quality of service I received. Rick greeted me upon arrival and was one of the best mechanics I've worked with. Clearly a veteran in the game, he was quick, friendly, and got the job done right. The entire crew there was welcoming and upfront including Liz at the front desk. I would definitely recommend this shop. Oh and bonus points because they work on Volvo Penta! ~Shane

I paid for diagnostic services on a no-start issue expecting a clear diagnosis and repair…read moredirection. Instead, I was given a list of things that might be wrong and thousands of dollars in recommended repairs with no guarantee any of it would actually fix the problem. They recommended replacing the manifolds, risers, and spark plugs for nearly $4,300 based largely on exterior corrosion. Before approving the work, I removed the manifolds and risers myself and found no significant internal corrosion, scaling, or blockage. The cooling passages were clear and the main issue I found was worn gaskets. Most frustrating of all, they still could not get the engine started. After continuing to troubleshoot the boat myself, I was able to get the engine running and found several issues that were never clearly identified during the paid diagnostic process. I paid for a diagnosis, not a list of expensive guesses. If you're considering this shop, ask for actual test results and confirmation of the root cause before authorizing major repairs. Do your homework before spending thousands of dollars here, I won't be back! I would not trust this shop.

I got my machine repaired under warranty with these people (it was never even fixed right and has…read morethe same exact problem, but that's another issue) I was told some other things were needed that were not under warranty and that my portion would be 125$ and the rest would be COVERED under warranty, ok fine. So after it was 'fixed' I came picked up my machine and paid the 125$ 2 days later we used the machine for the first time and presto it's doing the same thing. Whatever I don't have time to mess with it so we just sold it. After a few months of continued calls (6 in total) saying the warranty repair portion has not been paid. I told them it wasn't my responsibility and that they needed to contact the warranty company the lady on the phone became upset and threatens me that I need to pay my bill etc etc. I hung up on her for being rude and called JR and I told him what happened and he started talking loud cutting me off and telling me I need to pay the bill AFTER they told me the warranty company would pay. He said it was MY problem and I would have to deal with getting paid from them. YEA NO! I told them the machine never even worked after we picked it up and had the same problem as when it came in! All he said was "I need to pay again to have it looked at." Can't fix it right the first time? Rude customer service? Seems to be the norm In the pressure washing business! Sorry fellas! This is NOT THE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS OR RUN A BUSINESS!
