He literally worked on it for 3 to 4 hours for $20. What a great guy he's very knowledgeable And very skilled in what he does. A great business and I am so glad I found this business. I will be using this service for the near future to tune up my 10,000 mile Honda Navi. Very friendly and easy to get along with Guy great service thanks again. Saved my butt cause I was stranded without a tire. I recommend for everyone thanks.

First of all, Papa bears Moto repair, which is ran by Charles, is definitely praiseworthy. Charles…read moreis an excellent communicator and can work with your schedule. He's a very friendly person, and when it comes to motorcycles is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive and looks for ways to get the job done quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The service I requested was a carb clean and an oil change, and he did just that. I was working from home, so I came out to check on how things were and he showed me what he was working on and went into detail about what he was fixing and got the job done in the timeline that was estimated. My 1999 Yamaha V star is back running and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this business to anyone thinking about that bike that needs fixing that's sitting in your garage or whoever you know needs a moto repair. Again, fair pricing, and great work. 10/10!

Overall I couldn't be happier with my experience and I will definitely be back next time.

I finally stopped in to meet the owner, James, and right away I could tell this place was different. He took the time to come out, look over my bike with me, talk through what I wanted, and get everything scheduled without any pressure. One thing that really stood out was their communication. They use a text and email system for appointments, which makes everything simple and organized. During the job, James even reached out with a question about how I wanted something installed. He sent photos and followed up with a call to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it done--that level of attention is rare. From start to finish, the service was excellent. James and Danielle genuinely care about their customers, and it shows. It's that small-shop, personal experience you just don't get at most dealerships, where you can feel more like a number than a customer. They completed the work on time, the pricing was fair, and the quality was top-notch. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending 5K Oil to friends who want their bikes handled the right way.

Sounds cliche but when you own a business…read moreand interact directly with the customer and provide them a service, you're much more likely to care about what you're doing. I needed a front fork seal rebuild on my bike. I'd gone by a big local place up in Kearny Mesa (won't name) and dude was dismissive, like 'ah yeah a couple hours to pull the forks, a couple hours to rebuild...but we're a month out to get you in'. Acted like he didn't want my business and wouldn't even provide a number 'uh yeah like $130/hour times 4 hours, and yeah parts too'. Gel haired, flat brimmed, frosted tip 50 year old goofball. SD moto did a 24 hour turnaround. Yep, actually less than 24 hours. They preemptively got the parts (he paid for them) dropped bike off Friday, picked up Saturday. Beyond happy. I have a valve clearance coming up in a few thousand miles and I'll coming here. Also he's from Bulgaria , not Russia. Good guy! Edit Bulgaria NOT Belarus haha. Sorry!

I then came across SD moto repair & found brother constantine. He is a 1 man worker but he does work at a fair price, & does it a good time frame & i have been taking my ZX10R to him for some years now for oil changes, tire changes, brake & master cylinder work, front & rear sprocket & chain replacement etcc.. he was even able to find me a replacement fairing for my Zx10R which are hard to find now because of my bikes age & he helped me today (9/13/25) properly fit a green rear seat cowl on my ZX10R that I bought on Ebay that is seen in this photo. I would reccomend him to any rider that needs their cycle serviced for fair pricing, good work & good turn around time. He also doesn't tell his customers "your cycle is too old" as the motozone mechanic told me years ago.

I can't say enough about this shop .. so a few years ago I was putting on solenoid on my polaris…read moreranger and sparks were flying and I called them up, and of course, I crossed the wire, and they walked me through it and I fixed it .. so when I needed to look for some tires, a couple weeks ago, I remembered these guys and I called them up, and that's how i've been reconnected with them these last couple weeks and I just can't say enough about them. It's nice to work with a place; a person like Josh and his helper, that's just downright honest and good at what they do! So I needed tires for my 2013 polaris ranger a couple weeks ago, my rear ones were so bad they wouldn't hold air .. I use this daily on my property with my horses, it was going to be at least three or four days before I could get some brand new ones in so I called down there and josh had a couple used ones, got them really cheap (thank you) took my wheels over to the tire shop, and they put them on ... so then I needed to get oil changes on my polaris ranger utv and my suzuki atv, so when I got the tires from josh, I talked to him about the oil changes, and I took those down a couple days later and got that done and he did an inspection on everything while down for an oil change .. So I told him to give me a couple weeks and I could get everything back in and get these repairs done that needed to be done on my polaris ranger .. so while there he found me a used seat for my suzuki, because mine is pretty torn up .. THANK YOU!! So when my house sells and before I move to washington state, my ranger is really not outfitted for cold weather, like I don't have doors or windshield or anything like that. So before I leave, i'm going to make sure josh takes care of my ranger and gets me set up for the colder weather... closed in ranger, snow plow, winch ect .. maybe even go a little crazy and get a heater .. If you're looking for honest reliable shop, this is the place you will not go wrong, they are extremely honest, they're good at what they do .. they aren't overpriced like the dealer, I used to go to go to temecula motorsports where i bought both vehilces, ohh, my god, it would take weeks to get in and you'd get charged a couple hundred bucks just to do an oil change, and then they jack stuff up .. Ultimate performance is a great shop, they have great prices and just good people, good honest people, I try to support local, honest, hardworking, independent business owners like these guys and these guys are awesome .. thanks again Josh !

The pricing was very reasonable, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. What really stood out was their communication--they kept us informed the entire time, which we really appreciated. They were professional, reliable, and clearly know what they're doing. When we picked up the ATV, we ran into some unexpected issues loading it into our truck. Even though that wasn't part of the service, they jumped in immediately to help us without hesitation. That kind of customer service says a lot. Quick, efficient, reliable, fairly priced, and genuinely helpful. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them to anyone needing ATV parts and/or service work done.

Brent kept us informed, explained everything clearly, and was always honest and straightforward. He is someone you can truly trust. He also went above and beyond to help keep the cost reasonable. He wasn't just trying to get the job done -- he genuinely looked for the best solution for us. His knowledge, workmanship, honesty, communication, and dedication are exceptional. It's rare to find a mechanic who combines this level of skill with such integrity and genuine care for his customers. If you're looking for a mechanic you can truly trust with your bike, I highly recommend Brent. We feel very fortunate to have found him. Five stars without hesitation!

I had worked with him prior to get some parts on order including a rejetting kit, sprockets and a new chain (gave $40 deposit). My exhaust was loose, something I didn't notice due to my loud after market exhaust put on by a previous owner. This was quickly diagnosed and fixed by Wide Open Moto. Bike was ready to go, rode it around for a bit and flooded the carb due to the wrong size needle being installed. Brent was generous and had it towed back for free to his shop. Subsequently the bike rode great that following Monday when I picked it back up. I'd recommend Brent and Wide Open Moto for your bike. Unexpected things can happen and they worked on the bike again for free after re-diagnosing. He also was quick to give me back my deposit after I realized it was still in holding. A plus is that he is very responsive and easy to get in touch with. I would personally give 5 stars if I was given a heads up on what type of miscellaneous repairs were going to be done. I had a kickstand safety switch and oil change done without my knowledge at the time. Thank you, Brent. You've got my business going forward.
