Only 1300 bottles made for 2013 and I would have loved to take a case home. The antipasto meat/cheese platter included a sausage made by the owner, and also a pecorino cheese. We had the ravioli in pesto and gnocchi with a delicious red wine sauce, and some chicken skewers on a bed of greens. Everything was delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. The house red was a delicious Montefalco that was so easy to drink we got a second carafe. The staff were very nice, but the lost star is because the waitress could not remember which table had ordered which dish. Not which people at the table (that avoidable mistake happens all the time) but which party to deliver orders to.

We got lucky and were able to be seated without a reservation. We came right around 7 pm as we just beat the start of the dinner rush. Pictures do not do it justice. I can't wait to try more items. If I can give more than 5 stars I would. Pastas were cooked perfectly and the tiramisu was to die for.

It disappoints that service was non existent and the main dish had to be returned due to being as dry as a leather belt. Dinner started off well enough with a quick greeting at the door and being seated immediately at a table for two. Water was offered and bread was brought- two types of bread, the fried which I wanted to live but it was ssooooooo hard as if it was fried quite a while earlier. The other basket was your run of the mill bread, nothing noteworthy. Olive oil was on the table, nothing else. We started with the antipasto which also seemed preprepared which is not a big deal expect for the cheese which did not hold so well. We ordered a great bottle of wine which the sever splashed all over the table unapologetically:0/ Then we decided to only order one entree based on everything up to this point. The entree was pork with Lardo on top, from the first sight I could tell it was massively overlooked. We cut into it and it was similar to sawing at a piece of wood, dry, tough and not exactly appetite inducing. One very end slice was cooked to perfection and it was amazing but, to me, one of the most disrespectful actions is to offer a completely f'd dish, of any kind, to a patron. We had to return it and asked for the check as they were closing and no one was anywhere to be found. They were kind enough to remove the dish from the bill without any fight and we got out of there as fast as we could- even recorked the wine to make a quick getaway. Skip this one kids. My favorite was the bright red spicy salami. We enjoyed the veal medallions (thick cut!) and the cod (though a bit salty) with a refreshing bottle of Pinot Grigio. The wait staff was great! I visited years ago and was warmly welcomed and had an early afternoon coffee on the terrace, unsure if the manager was having a bad day or if it's the rise in hostility towards non-white people.
