But it's easy because I'm a former Chinese buffet expert so I can break it down to you: there are some good items here, many average ones, and some really horrific. Good ones to try: large shrimp, beef, or anything that is from the grill area. Their fried rice was above average (but don't fill up on that since you'll get full really quickly). Seafood salad (by the salad bar), pineapple (in season) and stir-fry shrimp were also good. Average: everything else, minus the horrific ones below. Horrific: sushi (not as fresh/cold as I'd like), any of the dim sum items, stir-fry section (not to be confused with the grilled section, which you don't choose sauce), teriyaki chicken (overcooked), spare ribs (overcooked) Having said that, $20 euro per person isn't that bad, considering the variety of things you can get. Pro tip: even if you put 6-7 large shrimp on your plate (from the grilling section), they will only bring you 3-4. So separate them into multiple plates with something random (example: if you want 7 shrimp, put 3 + slice of beef on 1 plate, and 4 + slice of chicken on another plate). Pro tip 2: gelato is $1 more

The ambiance is excellent and very "American", if my fellow countrymen will forgive me for saying so, in the sense that it's well organized, neat and and carefully refined in lighting and style. Outdoor seating available depending on the season. Only note, at 21 EUR (for the buffet) and 39 EUR (for the buffet and the rodizio), excluding 4 EUR of "coperto" (service) and excluding all drinks and water, it is a bit spendy. Also, if you're getting here by car, there's street parking but I would advise to park at some distance from the restaurant as there's a couple of very unpleasant guys asking for money to "guard" your car (meh...).

We found this restaurant through Google Reviews and generally had high hopes, but were blown away by the experience. We definitely could have avoided getting the two salads; portions were massive and we ended up not finishing either salad. My main course was delicious. The pasta had a zesty, fresh flavor between the lemon, olive oil, parsley and tomato, but the welcome surprise was seeing mounds of mussels, clams and shrimp inside the dish (I'm from New York and expected maybe 10 total) that took me almost 5 minutes to deshell before I went to town on it. Cocktails were excellent - hard to see from the photos but huge and delicious. Resulted in a great midday buzz. Limoncello spritz was also good but perhaps too strong for a lunchtime drink. Other courses ordered: - Lamb ravioli - Had 1-2 bites and tasted good, but probably a 3.5-4. Not really up to my palate and compared to my own entree, hard to beat :) - Carbonara - Solid. It's a block or so away from the crazy shore of Como but still was getting a bit loud by the time we left.
