My niece and I ate at this restaurant during a visit to Guadalajara. It is located in the Colonia Americana area of the city, perched above the street and rustic in setting. I will suggest, although they have a cocktail list, you stick to a basic margarita. You will need to ask for salt if you prefer it. Definitely don't miss the experience of this place if you're in Guadalajara. Our simple margherita pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Crust, cheese, sauce: all perfect and fabulously delicious. We were so enamored of the pizza that we tried to go back for another (and I was anxious to try the pasta) but it was closed on that day. I can't say enough about his place, I think I just had the best pizza I've ever had anywhere and it was right here in Guadalajara. The flavors on all of their pizzas were just absolutely perfect, the service was fast and friendly, the appetizers were also very good. Authentic Italian. Caprese salad was good, if a little on the bland side, lacking balsamic. But the pizza more than made up for it. We split a "Stella" pizza and it was phenomenal. Best pizza we've had outside of Naples. They don't have a huge wine list, so I chose a carafe of the house red and it was decent. The staff was amazing. They do that hard-to-perfect job of being right there when you need them, but never hovering and making your dining experience uncomfortable. They offer both inside- and outside seating. If you go I recommend the outside seating, as inside the music can be a little bit loud. (The night we went it must have been "80's Retro" night.) All in all, a very nice evening, and we look forward to our next visit. read more

Best restaurant I've been to since I've been in GDL. The beef carpaccio is to die for. Huge portion, quality raw beef, AND there's a spicy chili oil on the side that's just as Sichuan spicy. Super super good. Highly recommend you order it. This carpaccio lifted my spirits. Made my day. Get it, you won't regret it. The only thing may be that they put too much gorgonzola on top but some people love that. The margherita pizza was ok. But a bit too thin. The crust was exceptional. You can tell it's fresh bread. There wasn't enough basil on it. I was expecting circles of fresh mozz and basil but I ended up getting a cheese pizza with hints of basil basically. This was my first time at this restaurant so I wasn't sure want to expect. I brought my family and the reviews showed that it was good. Their food choices are very limited and not considerate of dietary restrictions. If you have any promotions they do not accept them. The lighting is also very dim and makes the menu difficult to read. More than anything the staff was in the back just telling jokes sipping on their drinks and laughing out loud. Finally got the chance to go back here. We had a couple issues this time. The servers should definitely try and warn you about ordering too much food. I am sure others would argue it is not the server's job, however only having been here once pre-pandemic we had no idea how the pizzas had grown in size and 5 pizzas for 7 people -- one of them being a 4 year old was way too much food. We asked for two separate boxes to take it for leftovers and to keep the meat and vegetarian pizzas separate, but they did not listen and combined them into one. Now, for the food. Pizzas are all delicious and the way to go and if you like spicy ask for some of their special hot sauces. Yum. Both of the carpaccios were tasty. I think I preferred the octopus (pulpo) if you have to choose one. Burrata was nothing special -- maybe try a different salad. The salmon entree was good and hubby's seafood pasta was okay. We were so full we gave it to the family to enjoy as we were traveling the next day. All in all, we would return and still recommend but the restaurant should definitely not let a 4 year order an entire pizza to herself. Is there a kids menu? Came here shortly after I landed in Guadalajara. The service was exceptional, the sangria was delish, the salad was delish as well. The pizza with salmon on top of it was different but it worked really well. The pepperoni pizza was also a delicious treat. Wish I lived near by to visit frequently. I was really looking forward to this restaurant based on the reviews, but it was just ok. I got the salmon which only came with one asparagus which was kinda sad, and my partner got the shrimp ravioli, and we also got some complimentary bread. This little Italian place serves possibly the best pizza I've ever had - including pizzas I've enjoyed in Italy. The crusts alone would make a meal. Even my wife - who is usually not a pizza fan - ate nearly half of a white pizza (no tomato sauce) to herself. The service is excellent as well. Our server JJ was patient and attentive. We went for lunch it was a move lunch experience. The pizza was as I expected, very delicious and flavorful that I wanted another. :) it was nice to ese my pizza overlooking the street as well. I would definitely come here again but i will make sure I will use the restroom before I go. The reason I am giving only 3 stars is because the restroom access is unacceptable. In order to get the the restroom, it's a long slightly winding staircase and once I get there, it's one unisex restroom so having to wait is a nuisance plus my girlfriend was on crutches and there is absolutely no way she can make those steps to the restroom. This was one of the best experience with Italian food since a traveling often in Mexico. Pizza is real Italian pizza thin crust in Italian style in firewood oven. This place was already five stars. I tried it out to see if the reviews were tainted. They're not. I got a pizza and beer for myself. The pizza was amazing. I almost ordered another one. If the night want so young I would have. Because I checked in here I got a free glass of wine. You get what you pay for but it was nice to have.
