Beware...Despite my sincere efforts to not be scammed, I was. I was assured by Roger that the accommodations for my scheduled trips would be honored without challenges. Nope. Roger's wife called to condescendingly inform me that she would accommodate me for two of the 4 months I'd confirmed with Roger. (June & July were left out) She told me she was doing me a favor for those two months, because 'I didn't understand their policy' and that I needed to read their policy again. Being told I didn't understand something that I clearly understand was exasperating. I clearly would not have signed up, without understanding what I was signing. Roger's wife barged ahead in our phone conversation, challenging me yet more, insisting to me that 'her husband would never have said to me that he'd prorate the 2 months she was accommodating.' He did, of course absolutely tell me that. She couldn't hear the truth of that either, which culminated in her announcing to me that my membership would be 'terminated' at the end of the month. Funny how there is nothing in the contract to protect the consumer. Well, no surprise they were happy to keep my initiation deposit and refused to refund my remaining sessions. They are the owners, they could make things right, but didn't. For the record, I've never been terminated for anything in my life and I have never left a negative review of any kind. As I get older, I realize it sometimes takes hearing from others to decide what's a good situation and what's not. Do yourself a favor and don't be conned by these people. Like another reviewer said, ' the sales pitch' did feel strong armed, and once I signed their contracts then the second string came in and it became clear that I'd been suckered. read more

I was very interested in this place, researched what they do online and reached out for pricing. Note I requested to be emailed, but while they did send a generic email, I also immediately get a text from Roger who said I had to attend a 45-60 minute intro Zoom call for more information. When I replied I was not willing to do that without pricing info, since I am on zoom calls all day and the last thing I want to do when I get home is another freaking zoom call, he replied again that is just what I have to do, then called me reiterating that. Interesting concept - sit through a pitch without knowing pricing? If he had been a little kinder in his approach I might have come in to hear their pitch and get my supposedly "free" session but after reading the other reviews, I am glad I did not waste my time. If a company isn't willing to discuss pricing up front, that is a huge red flag - proceed with caution! read more

YOU MUST READ THIS!!!! I am not a yelp reviewer. I stumbled on these stupid reviews from people who obviously do not know what this business is about, or how it works. I was compelled to write a review, so others had real information from someone who has been a member and knows this business. My wife and I have been members of osteostrong since the pandemic, in 2020. We learned about osteostrong after my wife, in her late 60's at the time, had been diagnosed with osteoporosis. (T scores of -3.5 and -3.3) We were researching different options, because the medications do not make sense. We stumbled upon this small business called osteostrong. We went online and requested information to learn more about it. We began with a zoom call introducing the company and the science and research behind what it is they do. Very professional and everything they explained was science and fact based, with the data to support it. We decided to give it a shot. We were amazed at how little time spend to get such incredible results. Over the course of the 2+ years we have been at osteostrong, my wife has improved her T scores to -2.1 and -1.4 since her last test in 2020. WOW!!!! I did not have osteoporosis. I had a lot of back pain. After about 3 months, my pain was almost completely gone. Today I do not have any pain. Our balance is amazing. My wife has better balance than she did when she was in her 30s and 40s. My strength is amazing. I feel stronger now then I ever was. Where I see the difference is on the golf course. I have always been a decent golfer. Today I am driving the ball 30-40 yards further than guys in their 50's. Now the owners are amazing. Some of the most caring and wonderful people you can meet. They truly care about you as a person and give you the time, energy and respect. They work so hard to take care of the people that are clients along with the staff. Their staff is mostly college students, getting internship hours and using this as a stepping stone to move on to their careers after college. Each one of them that we have had the privilege of walking us through our weekly session, has had nothing but wonderful things to say about both the owners. I have been told by many of them, this is the best job and the best people to work for. That says something too about this place. It's funny reading some of these reviews like from Bunnee (Hmm I wonder if that is a fake name). Not willing to invest 1 hour of her time to learn about something that could change her life? Sounds like someone who wants something for nothing and no matter what they did or said, she was going to be a @#$@#$. I would not trust that review to save my life. Then there is Ron. I don't think he really did anything either. I asked the owners about the process since we have joined. Ron seems to be full of it, because what he said is not anything like what we have experienced or seen. I asked the owners about the process now. They do offer several ways to experience osteostrong. Just because one miserable unhappy person does not like the options does not mean it is not right for you and I. I asked about the results that other members are having. Many people have eliminated their osteoporosis. People like myself who were in pain, no longer experience pain. And as I talk to other members each week, we love the strength gains that we see as well. For both my wife and I, this has made an tremendous improvement in our lives. Not only is my wife NO LONGER osteoporotic, but we are able to do such more more than we were 20+ years ago. I write all this because we owned several small businesses for many years. The owners of osteostrong are good honest hard working people. I guess some people just can not seem to grasp that and instead want to get something for nothing. You know the saying misery loves company. I hope that if you have read this far, you are serious looking into osteostrong. I hope you do truly check it out and learn about it. I love this business. I have back, shoulder and hip issues and as I've done process for about 3 months now, I can see continued success in the program. Not only do the machines show the progress for upper body, lower body, core, and posture, but I can feel the difference in my balance, joints and overall movement. I started with a month-to-month plan, but quickly upgraded to an annual contract. Although the weekly sessions are short, I understand that osteogenic loading triggers your bones to become more dense, or at least maintain their density. I appreciate how the staff always reminds me where to place my feet, how high to hold my arms, etc, so I stay safe while getting the most from each exercise. Also, they're always right on schedule so I never have to wait. Background: After my last Dexascan, my Endocrinologist directed me to take Forteo for two years, followed by a bisphosphonate. My copay for Forteo would've been $225 every 28 days. But much worse, there's a small chance your jawbone can crumble when you take bisphosphonates. In my search for a safer alternative, I decided to become an Osteostrong client. I look forward to my next Dexascan, and proving to my Endocrinologist that there's a safer way. read more

Find both Sherry and Roger nice. Sherry has the personality of a cheerful cheerleader. Only gave the business a four star rating because I didn't go long enough to figure out if working on the equipment there would really cure or make better my osteoporosis. Place is clean and I really enjoyed the water massage. Dropped out because of some personal issues. read more

BEWARE!!!!! There is NO FREE TRIAL SESSION as advertised. As mentioned by another reviewer, this is a classic bait and switch advertising SCAM. You first have to go through a virtual sales pitch that lasts 45 minutes~which feels like a hard core time share sales presentation. At the end of the presentation, you learn that THE ONLY WAY to receive your "free trial session" is to first join the club (you have only 24 hours to make this decision and if you don't join within 24 hours, the price supposedly goes up). So, you first pay a $249 NON REFUNDABLE fee (never mentions that it is non refundable). On top of that you then have to pay a $172 prorated fee for your "FREE trial session", as it is PRORATED over 4 sessions. IF you change your mind, as I did within 4 days of signing, Roger, very happily, keeps $299 of your money~ the non mentioned, non refundable $249 and he charges an additional $50 processing fee on your prorated "free trial session" of $172. So, it is a "win, win" for him~because if you take the bait, as I did, he walks away with $299 & you leave with only $122 of the $421 given to him. I don't normally write reviews, but this is a really, really disgusting and subversive way to be conducting business and the target clientele are elderly women suffering from Osteoporosis. Was interested as my sister recommended something similar. Signed up on line per an advertisement for a "free trial session ". No free session is available to try it. Instead you have to do an online zoom call OVER half an hour long only to get the pitch and then learn that if you want try out the equipment you have to join and pay hundreds up front. Feels like a classic bait and switch. Strong arm sales tactics don't work for me. I might have liked equipment if I had tried it, but the heavy handed sales pitch plus bait and switch tactic (false advertising) does not make we want to do business with them. Beware. OsteoStrong works! My wife loves to play Pickleball, and you can see what OsteoStrong has done for her when she is on the Pickleball court. After three years of once-a-week Osteostrong sessions, she is faster, stronger, and has much, much better endurance than before. She can now play non-stop for hours. She even looks different off the court: she stands so much taller! Not only has her posture improved, but she is physically so much stronger. The other day, I gave her a playful push, and I couldn't budge her. She was solid! Hopefully, she never reads this because she will say I am prejudiced, but as far as I am concerned (and I pride myself on my objectivity), my wife is still the same 5'7", 132-pound beauty she was when we married 43 years ago. I think Osteostrong deserves at least some of the credit. BTW, Roger, Sheri, and the rest of the OsteoStrong crew in Danville do a great job providing this valuable service to the community.
