Oslo Central Station is conveniently located in the middle of Oslo. We took a taxi to the station and were dropped off at the entrance. At 5:30AM some shops are closed but breakfast places are open, for those who want to grab a quick bite to eat before a train ride. The arrivals and departures board is in the middle of the station. It's easy to locate what city you are going to correlations to the track you are suppose to go to. We got there 30 minutes prior to our departure since it's not that big of a station but decent sized.

Now this is a big train station. Luckily is was very easy to navigate. With multiple entry/exit points this helped with getting out of the station fast. There is also shopping and food inside the terminal so if arriving early, you can occupy yourself. This station was very clean.

Really nice train station in central oslo. Easy to navigate and there are plenty of people working there who can help. Terminals are easily marked and easy to figure out. Lots a decent food options and feels very safe. Lots of shops as well. You can catch the airport express train or a train to connect pretty much anywhere in the norway. Its also right in the heart of Oslo so easy to explore the city from this point.

07-01-2024, My second time in Norway. The Olso Central Station is large with only 2 floors. Very easy to walk around. The current exchange is in the lower level by Studio Johnny, a women's haircut saloon. Push the yellow machine for a number and wait for it to show to exchange your money. Also, persons wearing yellow inside the station are good to ask questions. They speak 4-5 languages, including English.

Absolutely beautiful train station with all of the necessary modern technology. For foreign travelers the station to easy to navigate. Although there are very few workers when asked they are very helpful. From this station you can ride the airport express to most common destinations. Throughout the station there are many stores and food shops, This station is the HUB to EVERYWHERE in Norway.

Traveling is more fun by train to get places easier around Europe! Super clean station! Got lots of food and stores and money exchange too when you traveling or visiting Oslo! But you always want to be on time other wise your train will leave you behind !

Oslo has a well organized and efficient public transportation system. The Central station has everything from clothing shops to pharmacies, from salons to grocery stores. There is a food court with fancy restaurants and bars on the lowest floor. There are also cheaper options like Burger King on the upper levels. You can also find money exchange stores and tourist information offices. I mean, whatever you need you can find it here. Navigating the station is easy, since everything is labelled. There is a huge monitor displaying the trains and what platform they are departing from. From Central station, you can go to any city in Norway. 4 stars.

We took the train from Bergen to Oslo, and it was amazing. The scenery along the route was breathtakingly beautiful. The cost for the trip was very reasonable amd they allowed us to bring our lugguge on the train. Seats are comfortable and there are adequate restrooms, which are clean. There is a dining car to purchase food from, and they have a lot of choices. I highly recommend this train ride

Located in the heart of Oslo. It's like a mini-city in its own. There is a 3 story shopping center located right next door, it seems to be part of it. Oslo S has co-op which is a French grocery store thou you can find everything here from fruits, snacks, drinks and childcare at a very affordable price. There are also dress shops, perfumes boutique, a 7/11 that serves baked bread and famous Norwegian hot dog for cheap. There are a number of pharmacy too! A Starbucks and a few Norwegian brand coffees. The Nords love their coffee. Above the large sign of departures, there are the ticket machines to purchase your ticket thou preferable its easier to download the Reuter app to buy your ticket for the train. The train is on time, clean and very efficient. The staff on the trains are very helpful if you have questions and they speak English as Oslo is very international.

Not a bad train station, easy to find the kiosk to pick up our tickets using the pick-up code. The tracks are all listed in numerical order in a row so it's very easy to find even though they don't have all the signs. The one thing I like about it is the ramp going down to the platform versus the typical climbing up the escalator to get to your train, also there is an automated walkway coming up back to the station if you need to get some snacks. The convenience store is located right outside Track 3 so you can grab hot dogs, drinks, croissant, books, magazines, anything for your train ride. Overall pretty good!

Aside from charging 20 NOK (approx 2 GBP) for the toilets, I couldn't find any faults with this station. It is clean, has loads of shops, exchange bureau, and cash machines. If you are hungry, you can find something for all budgets, starting from 20 NOK pastries in newspaper shops to fancy restaurants. The stuff is extremely helpful, and I everybody I spoke to spoke English, which is a bonus for travellers. You can leave your stuff in luggage lockers, prices start from 50 NOK.

A fairly big station located in the center of Oslo. Easy to get to the trains buy tickets and announcements also made in English for non Norwegian speakers. Lots of cafes and shops and good option from the airport to city via the normal trains or the express trains.

Blurry pic, but the station was quite nice!

It is easy to book either through the mobile App, or through the easy to navigate kiosks right at the train station. Only thing to note is that the trains are on the outside of the main central station on the back side. We had an early 5:00AM train, and the main train station building doors were not open which panicked us for a second until we saw others walking around the side to find the tracks on the back side where the Flytoget trains are parked including their offices and kiosks.

This high-speed train whisks passengers from the airport to Oslo Central Station in a mere 19 minutes[1], making it by far the fastest option. In contrast, driving from the airport to central Oslo typically takes 40-50 minutes[3], over double the travel time of the express train. Traffic and road conditions can also make the drive unpredictable. With the Flytoget, you avoid all that stress and arrive in under 20 minutes, guaranteed. Some other great benefits of taking the Airport Express Train: - Departs every 10 minutes[1], so you never have to wait long - Children under 16 travel for free with an adult[1] - Print your airline bag tags right on the train and skip the airport check-in queues[1] - Comfortable, reliable, and the only high-speed train in Norway[2] For the fastest, simplest, and most convenient way to travel the 50 km between Oslo Airport and the city center, the Flytoget Airport Express Train can't be beat. Once you experience the speed and ease of the 19-minute train ride, you'll never want to drive that route again. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to or from Oslo Airport!
