Olser Records located in The Junction along Osler St. near Dupont St. is the neighbourhood's newest coffee shop and bar opened by Toronto's newest record label. Open from Wed to Sun, the space is open from 9am to late at night where it is a music venue, bar, as well as community hub. The bottom floor of the space is accessible where it used to be an aluminum factory.
During the day, expect pastries and sandwiches from Noctua as well as coffee (they offer your usual espresso based drinks) , juices and teas. You're also able to order beer, wine, and cocktails if you'd like. At night, they have small snacks like olives, pickles, chips, bread & butter, as well as cacciatore and cheese to accompany your drinks.
I stopped by Olser Records on a Thurs afternoon. The space was quiet with super chill vibes. Service was friendly and casual where I ordered a cortado at the bar. It was made at a reasonable time and as I sat down with my coffee, staff also came by with some water, which was nice of them to do so! I stayed for a bit soaking in the vibes of the cafe, as more customers came in for an afternoon caffeine hit or drink.
Overall, a great new coffee shop in The Junction area! Definitely will come back if I'm in the area. Loved the chill and relaxing vibes of the space. read more
