Small lounge, basic selection of food and drinks. Was told NOT allowed to sleep in lounge due to the serving of alcohol in lounge.

This lounge services all of the major international business class passengers in and out of this…read moreairport, not just those flying SAS. So, by this fact alone, it can become fairly crowded. Overall, however, it is a fairly spacious lounge. Like any airport lounge, your experience is highly defined by who decides to pull up a chair and sit down next to you. I've had a few not so great experiences in this lounge. But, what are you going do? One of my problems with this lounge is that it is very-very stuffy. I don't know if it's just when I've been visiting this lounge, but whenever I've been there, I can't help but feel they really need to turn up the air conditioner. In terms of the food service, it's buffet style, but in a very unhelpful fashion. Basically, when you walk into the lounge you pass by the whole salad bar. Meaning, everybody just walks by it, spreading all their germs all over the food. As we're exiting the period of our lives that was defined by COVID-19, where we all learned just how dangerous the spreading of germs can be, I find this to be very disconcerting. In terms of what they serve, they have a pretty good selection of the various foods you would expect in a business class lounge. Again, referencing COVID-19, I find it very disconcerting that they allow everybody to simply grab the loafs of bread and individually cut off whatever size piece they want with their possibly dirty hands and then grab the cheese with their hands. There's no guarantee that these people have disinfected their hands before they touched any of those things. Thus, the possibility of spreading germs is very high. And let me reference this statement by saying, no, I'm not a germophobe. But, I can't help being left thinking about this subject in the way they have this lounge's food-service arranged. Overall, this is a fairly good business class lounge. But, there are a lot better lounges across the globe, even those operated by SAS as this one is. I just believe they could do a better job at this location.

Gayle and I have been to this Lounge twice, thanks to Business Class Tickets, first on Lufthansa,…read moreand most recently on Icelandair. SAS actually has 3 airport lounges at Oslo Gardermoen airport, of which we mistakenly started in their "regular" lounge. Further down is Business Class and if you look a little beyond the entrance is their more exclusive "Gold" lounge. Gayle and I were just grateful to comfortably relax and avoid the crowds. The food and drink selections were fine and welcome, albeit unremarkable. This lounge is a bit on the small size and there were enough people here during our stays that we had to either wait for a better seat or negotiate. Regarding the later, you do meet interesting people in airport lounges.
