Have been getting dine in and take out here for MANY years, sometimes even on a weekly basis being they really are the best teriyaki in town, however a previous take out order experience has made me question whether I should continue as much business here. Ordered 3 entrees and when I got there only two of them were written down and ready to go. Even though it was a tad annoying, I didn't see it as a big deal, where All I said was "uh oh, I ordered an extra beef teriyaki." And the manager/owner was far less than professional. Argued with me immediately that she read back my order over the phone (which she did not) and quoting her, said "it's your fault you didn't get the order right." I really didn't know what to say, just said "I'm sorry if Its causing a problem but I really do need this third item." Now I was steamed a bit but not going to be nasty with her, literally just wanted to get and pay for the missing teriyaki, to which to the owners dismay continues to shake her head while writing it down like I'm inconveniencing her with having to add to the check before it was even cashed out. while sitting there waiting for the missed item to be cooked, she then at the front counter decided to talk to one of her teenage cashiers "this is exactly why i read back his order to him, so this doesn't happen." Finally got the food, and much to my surprise, the cashier who the manager was talking to said to me as I was handed the bag "I'm sorry about that, she sometimes doesn't know how to handle people." Which is surprising considering she runs the restaurant. Well... as tasty as the food is, the owners snotty attitude made me question if it was tasty enough to go back there even a fraction of how often I used to. Now I'm not a scammer, I don't try to overreact to a minuscule event like thinking that the customer needs their butt kissed, but maybe handling it with a simple "oh I'm sorry I didn't get that when you called it in but if you can wait a few minutes we can have it right up." But instead I was told it was my fault and then gossiped to one of her employees about it, more than anything it was annoying. read more

Just moved to Enumclaw and have tried this place twice and they have messed up both orders. Customer service is awful and and it seem like we put out the employee which I think is the owner. There is another place in town, we will be going there for now on. Work on your people skills read more

I don't like giving bad reviews but the food here was not good. The sweet and sour chicken was grisly and over fried. The spices were not evenly distributed. Sauce was not good and meat pieces were small and dry. The teriyaki chicken texture was rubbery and sauce not good. I couldn't eat it. Ridiculously large portions at very ridiculously low prices. We don't have many teriyaki joints (or really any for that matter) in Dallas. Teriyaki places are a dime a dozen in the Seattle area. This is the second time I've been here. The first time was almost ten years ago, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The Mrs. and I split the Chicken Gyoza and Chicken Yakisoba. The amount of food you get should be illegal. Give this place a try if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. read more

The food is quite good but the staff is incompetent. First, they charged 315.60 to my Visa for 3 lunches. Then they brought food out late, forgot our bubble teas, and questioned one of my kids when the bubble tea they brought was wrong. Went to Oshio again, and although the food was pretty good, I was disappointed about one aspect of the service. I came in to pick up a "to go" order. While I was waiting, I took a styrofoam cup sitting near the drink area and put about 1/4 cup of teriyaki sauce in it from a table. When I checked out, the lady at the cash register grabbed the cup and took it from me and said, "You can't do that". Instead, she sold me two little containers of sauce. I thought this was rather "cheap" of them to do, and poor customer service. She could have told me not to do that in the future, and let me out the door with the styro cup. I imagine she was going to pour the sauce back into the squeeze bottle (GREAT); how sanitary... I will re-think going back to this place, and will for sure search for a new teriyaki restaurant in Enumclaw. read more

Best teriyaki ever !!! I have lived in the area for a long time and have sampled all the teriyaki places in king county at one time or another. I always go back here. The portions are enough for two meals and the food is great. The teriyaki sauce is the best in the state by a long shot. The owners could make a small fortune by just bottling and selling the sauce in a retail setting. None of the sauces at the stores even come close. The place is nice and clean unlike most other teriyaki shops that have dirty ceiling vents or discusting dirty carpets. The owners are friendly and its great to know a small local teriyaki shop in little old enumclaw is the best around. Oshio teriyaki is #1 on my list read more

My parents used to love this place before I moved them out of the 'Claw. We were out there for a concert the other day and the usual places we eat weren't open because it was the weekend. We wanted something we could take to a park and eat as a picnic. I ordered the largest combo that included three items. Frankly, none of them were particularly good and the portions were pathetic. I get more food in the non-combo options from my favorite places near where I live. This was a little tiny bit of three things. The beef had a lot of gristle in it but the chicken did taste all right. There just wasn't enough of it. The gyoza weren't terrible but there was about 3mm of dipping sauce in the tiny cup they gave me with it which means that it was 80% empty. The rice was just gross. My kid got some Pho but she said it was very watered down and lacked flavor. My kid is the biggest pho enthusiast in America and will order that over pretty much anything else. If she doesn't like it then it must be pretty bad. My other kid got some spring rolls which actually were pretty good sized but a little too heavy on the sprouts. As for the price, my big combo was the most expensive at about $14. The rest was higher than average but not ridiculous. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean but again, we won't be back. If you sell something that is touted as being very large and the people who by it are wildly disappointed when they see their portions, you're going to get bad Yelp reviews. read more

Literally THE BEST Teriyaki place I've ever been too! I live in Tacoma so Enumclaw is a long ways but the 47 minute drive is always worth when I'm craving teriyaki. The Spicy teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, general Tsao, and pretty much everything is always top tier and I recommend this place to anyone who likes great food. Definitely a 5 star chicken and stir fry vegetable teriyaki! Sauces were on the side which is great (avoids the often excess amounts of sugar in so many teriyaki places). Portion was huge! I haven't even eaten it yet because im shocked by the price.... $20 for both, reasonable.... But $30?? Wow.....glad I'm only bringing food home for 2! I'll be heading back to King's Teriyaki.... I've been to dozens of teriyaki places and this one is by far the best place I've dined and had take out. Portions are large and the food tastes great. The owners are pleasant and know us by name now. Their store hours are longer than most places like these too, and also open on Sundays, where any other teriyaki place is closed. I have been here many times before and ordered teriyaki, and never had an issue. Today my boyfriend and I went in. We normally order our food to-go, so we didnt realize we were supposed to order at the counter. The three girls behind the counter (all young white girls, looked maybe high school aged) watched us walk in and sit down, and never thought to tell us to come order at the counter. We sat there for almost 10 minutes before I went up and asked if we were supposed to order up front, and she just giggled at me and said yes. I got the chicken pho and he just got a side of fried rice. When she brought the fried rice out, she set it on the table and said "sorry about the weird ass placement" (referring to how sloppy the fried rice was put on the plate) and then laughed and walked away. I have never had worse pho in my life. The noodles are weird and spongey, and there were way too many noodles for the amount of broth. I literally just drank the broth and left. His fried rice was soggy and flavorless. And our total for these two items was over 20 dollars, which seems a little outrageous to me. Throughout the whole time we were eating, the girls were laughing loudly and joking around and being unprofessional in general. At one point, they were even making fun of their manager's asian accent and mocking them. (Although, the taller girl with the really nice makeup was polite when I spoke to her at the counter) I have worked in customer service for a long time, so I am usually pretty relaxed about this sort of thing. I typically would come into Oshios 2-3 times a week on my lunch. I went in last week and ordered chicken pho and when I got back to my work there was a bug in my soup! I called and they told me to come in and they would give me a refund. I told the young lady on the phone that I drive from Buckley to go there and she said to come in as soon as I could. I went back in to get my refund and was told they wouldn't refund me or give me another soup. I loved this place but after being treated and told I would get a refund and have it made right, drive out to Enumclaw and then told they don't give refunds or another meal (even with a picture of the bugs in my soup) I am not going to support a business that is ran like that. read more

The food is pretty good. Last time I went I asked the cashier to make sure the cook cuts the fat off my pork. I ordered pork yakisoba. Last time I ordered it there was a lot of chewy fat. I left went back to pick it up owner comes over giving me a lecture about how they never have complaints about the food and made me look at my food and just kept rambling on about how good her food is. I have been eating at oshio for a long time... I know the owner in fact. Went in today for a to go order, I took a to go cup and put about an 1 1/2 " of sauce to take out with me. The lady working says " you can not take that" and made Me buy two little cups of sauce for 50 cents ! Really? So if I sit there I can dump the whole flipping bottle of sauce on my plate and that's ok ? Oshio has been going down hill for awhile now. I will never go in there again. This was my first time trying this place. I was starving and just stopped by chance. My boyfriend and I pulled up and got out of the car and bees immediately started dive bombing us. We quickly went inside the restaurant and didn't think anything of it. The lady behind the counter was pleasant and we ordered. While waiting for our food I chose a seat by the door. All of the sudden 5 or 6 hornets flew in and starting dive bombing me. They were super aggressive. I finally moved tables to something further inside the restaurant. That didn't help at all!! My boyfriend and I got our food and then the hornets really started being aggressive and dive bombing us even more and even landing on our food! I finally had enough and after taking about 3 bites of my food got a to go box and took my food to eat in the car in peace. Oshio's is THE place to go for Teriyaki if you live in or around the Enumclaw Plateau. Just the simple teriyaki chicken with rice and salad is delicious. We usually always order takeout, and happy every time. HUGE portions! I can't usually eat the little side salad that comes with it after I ate the rice and chicken. Good gyozas, too. So if you're really hungry, or coming back down from Rainier, this is the place to go. :) read more

I've bought take out from Oshio since they first opened and have always been VERY pleased. This evening was the exception. The honey-garlic chicken (2 orders) was incredibly overdone, extremely dry, and terribly chewy. I immediately called to let them know. I was told, "We have no problem with this. If you want soft, you have to ask when you call. Next time you call you ask for soft." She really didn't care that I was unhappy with the order. I told her there may not be a next time because I may not return. She said that was my decision. And so it is. I can spend my money elsewhere.
