I am very happy with how he has managed to actually help me maintain a fresh, youthful look. Having said that, I obviously have realistic expectations. I like to look natural and never leave his office looking "injected." I just look like a better version of myself. He has never made me look frozen or like an inflated mess, which I see in other women quite a bit. It is not his style, even if you wanted it, he wouldn't do it. If you are looking for an "overdone" look, whether it is with injections, or with a surgical procedure, he is not your man. Not too long ago, I had my first surgical procedure and I couldn't be happier. Saying that Lee is a compassionate doctor with a wonderful bedside manner would never be enough. Every time I go to his office he has the patience of a Saint and gives me his full attention and his entire staff is incredible. I will admit that I sometimes sound completely neurotic, especially about the hollows under my eyes, but if it weren't for him, that is what would age me the most. Dr. Gibstein goes above and beyond what anyone would believe without experiencing it themselves. Last year, I was home alone and sliced my finger very badly. I was bleeding everywhere and didn't know what to do. It was 5pm when I called his office and spoke to him. The office was obviously closing, but instead of advising me to go to the emergency room, he asked me if I was able to get to his office (luckily my girlfriend was close and was able to drive me). He had his nurse stay late and they waited for me to arrive so that he could stitch me up. Putting aside that he is a gifted surgeon and there is no way to see the scar where he put more that 10 stitches along my thumb, he is not an amazing man. I have "strayed from home" 2 times in all of these years to go with friends to their "amazing doctors" for Botox only to be terribly disappointed. Thank God their watered down mixture didn't last on both occasions so that I could go running back! Dr. Gibstein will be working his magic on me for as long as he will tolerate me. Poor guy, after 25 years, I remind him every time I go that I bruise easily, as if he needs to inject me differently than everyone else. Luckily, he is very gentle and I leave happily unscathed. Once in a while I may get a tiny bruise, which I cover with makeup, but that is a miracle. I am always bruising myself! In my own defense, I can't be the only one that makes him crazy. After all, he sees people all day long who are usually there because they want to look better. I NEVER write reviews. I somehow came across his name on Yelp tonight and decided that it was time to write my first one. I thought it would be nice to share what Dr. Gibstein is like as a human being in addition to being a very gifted surgeon after all of these years. When choosing a Plastic Surgeon, I think that having a doctor that gives you the confidence that there is nothing to worry about and that they will be there for anything you may need is just as important as their skill...with him, you get the complete package!

I am not new to facials (incl. different peels, microdermabrasion or hydrafacial and I have visited many salons (good, very good and also bad) and I have to say that my facial here was just average, even below average. I would not come back because for the same $$$ I have had much better experiences. I booked hydrafacial with Claudia and even though she was very friendly and nice, I was surprised that she didn't use the steamer to open up the pores before the process (as in any other good salon). When I asked why, she said, "It's broken". Oh... ok... then they could have called me to reschedule..?? Instead of steamer she used a clay mask saying that it would open up my pores.. hmm not sure, usually mask is the last thing they do but ok... I have to say that all the process was very interesting - lots of different exfoliating vacuums, different acids (salicylic and glycolic) and lotions. I had never had a facial with so many different vacuums going over my face. Even though I did enjoy the process I had to ask what is what, because my esthetician was not explaining almost anything, and I felt that we are rushed as the appointment is only one hour. Also the extraction process was much, much shorter as in other places. 2.5 stars because they skipped the steamer, esthetician was pretty quick, there was no massage and final, my favourite step - the mask. She also didn't give me any sample (even if I asked), usually different salons give me samples of their products so I know if I want to buy something. I'm sure other people might like the services here but as I have had 5 star facials performed by the best estheticians, this was just an okay service. I would not spend my $$$ here again.
