Because I've been there before, I'm on their stupid mailing list for "promotions" and *HARDCORE DR. EVIL AIRQUOTES* "discounts." SO, we decide to head back one day because it is a decent water park for our little one, and I see in my inbox that they are offering discounted, sorry, "discounted," tickets if you buy online. The advert mentions the price is $25.... SIKE! Gotcha, dummies. No...the price for the day we were trying to go, which was a damn Thursday, btw, was $48. But wait; what about those $25 tickets, I hear you asking. They are only for certain, specific days. Looking at the calendar, it appears that Sunday is the day with the $25 dollar tickets. "Ok, we'll just go Sunday then," says the Misses, optimistically. Wrong again. I go today to look at the SUNDAY tickets, and they are now $28 dollars. "That sucks," I hear you begin to say, "but that's still cheaper than if you buy regular price." Oh, you sweet summer child......The $28 is ONLY available if you buy online, but when you go to check out, Splash Zone chargers a, and I quote, "Online Recovery Fee," basically to recoup some of the cost of the "discounted" ticket. SO, the advertised price of $25 per ticket, which turned into $28 per ticket, is now actually $31per ticket. I HAVE to go, because of how my marriage is set up, but I hope Splash Zone enjoys my last time ever visiting their park.

You'll leave feeling like you might have caught the oochie goomies! This place was so filthy that as soon as my 7 yr old walked into the bathroom she stopped, looked at the floor and looked back at me like "please don't make me go in there mommy." The entire bathroom floor was murky water/bodily fluids/soggy toilet tissue. Absolutely disgusting!! I wish I could have taken a picture of the floor so you guys could see it but I was so disgusted I just walked out. We got discounted tix through Groupons to visit and was really looking forward to it as this was our first visit and might end up being our last because of the lack of cleanliness. The ONLY reason I'm giving this place 2 star is because the kids had fun on the water rides and activities. We stayed because the kids had fun. Way too many people come here with their kids for it to be this nasty. The staff isn't friendly either. They act like they don't want to be there (I can't say I blame them). The person at the counter appeared annoyed at the fact that I was using vouchers from Groupons and pointblank told me "I hate those things." Again, this was my family's first visit and first impressions are everything. This place gets overcrowded real quick and although their are chairs throughout the facility you might have trouble finding a place to sit or place your belongings. You can rent a locker for $20 a pop with in/out access to it for the duration of your visit. If I were forced to visit again I would enter with as minimal as possible to avoid needing to use a locker. I felt so yucky I didn't want any of my clean belongings touching anything in this place. My husband and I took turns with getting in the water with the kids so one of us could hold on to personal belongings like cell phones/wallets etc. The facility has a snack counter with items like pretzels, chips, funnel cake etc. The food counter is in a separate part of the facility and caters to the SAD diet (Standard American Diet)..processed foods, refined carbs and sugar...pizza, chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, fries, those sorts of "foods". I made sure I ate before I went. This place has so much potential with the right management and staff. This was a huge disappointment.

Pretty decent price for entry as well! The food was definitely better than average amusement park food! He's a child who loves anything involving vehicles. This is the only Diggerland in the United States, so it's really rare, and therefore a special treat to give to my nephew who could enjoy a unique experience at a park catered to his interests. On March 29th, 2025, I went with him and my mother to Diggerland; the Spring day pass tickets costed $137.97 for three people, and that did not include the water park since it is closed until the summer season. We arrived at 12pm and left around 4pm, and during the entirety of our visit, I never felt like it got super crowded. The park has several rides that accommodate large groups, so it makes the lines very short. Even if it looks long at first, give it a couple minutes and soon enough, you will be seated with the other 13 people waiting in line with you. Majority of rides involve sitting in a construction vehicle, being either driven or lifted in the air, which is as mild of fun as it gets. There is also an arcade, but I recommend avoiding that if you want to save money. This park is fitting for families with small children, the elderly, or those who have a low tolerance for extreme thrills. For me, I could've used some more excitement. My 5-year old nephew, who's not a big risk taker, went on rides that as one operator put it, is so boring that it, "puts kids to sleep." It's great for the views of the park, but getting your heart racing is another story. I still had fun, but more so because I liked seeing my nephew enjoy himself. His favorite quote-on-quote "ride" was the 'Hook & Ladder' where he could explore different trucks, including a firetruck and an ambulance. As for my favorite ride, it was the 'Spin Dizzy' where you're spun around in the air by a JCB. The food and drinks tasted good; I tried their chicken nuggets and fries with freshly squeezed lemonade. Careful though, the lemonade is so fresh that they put two half lemons in the drinks. I noticed this after I was caught off guard by lemon seeds being sucked through my straw. The bathrooms were clean and abundant, with wheelchair accessible ramps. The parking lot is free and has ample spaces to choose from. In order to leave the park, you must exit through their gift shop, which is as blatant of a tourist trap as I've ever seen. However, if you wish to re-enter the park, you can do so by getting your hand stamped by an employee before exiting the gift shop. Then you'll show that stamp at the entrance; this is helpful in cases like ours where we wanted to save the food we bought for later and left it in the car so it wouldn't be a hindrance when we got on rides. So would I recommend this place? Yes, but for specific groups of people. As said earlier, this would bring the most joy to those with small children who are experiencing rides for the first time, older people that don't want to be tossed around like they would on a roller coaster, and people in general who would rather embrace the gentle breeze of the air rather than it getting whipped in their face. As a young adult who enjoys coasters, I felt unfulfilled in my quest for excitement, but if this visit brought a smile to my nephew's face, then the experience was worth it.

It seems a bit cleaner, and less threatening, though I'd still say some of the patrons are rough around the edges... all in all, there was much more of a family-friendly feel at the Piers than I remember as a kid. Back then, we'd drive from Stone Harbor to OC or Wildwood boardwalks for what I remember as tons of fun. But I grew up, and I'm no longer into rides, cotton candy, money-sucking games, etc. so I'd never visit an amusement park/carnival/boardwalk for myself, but I'll do it for a friend, or my kid. I mention that because this review will be from a mom perspective, as someone there to watch others enjoy, not really a connoisseur of amusements myself. I felt safe on the piers, and like people were out and about to enjoy themselves. People were actively going on rides, or preparing to do so. No one was loitering or trying to cause trouble (as sometimes happened back in the day). I passed a few smartallecks on the boardwalk, screwing the pedestrian flow by making people walk around them, or trying to be looked at, but no one was interested in their foolishness. Didn't seem like many people were under the influence of anything, and I was there past 10pm. Like I said, it really felt like a family ambiance, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got a tip last year from a mom on the beach that Morey's has a 40% off sale in (she said) October. But other reviews say it's December. So I looked last October and saw no sale, and my guess is it changes every year. Advice: sign up for their emails, or check their website between Oct and Dec. The 40% off is really helpful if you visit more than once, and/or have a number of people in your party, and/or like to go on lots of rides. So I missed the sale and had to buy a-la-carte full price, there on the boardwalk. Of course they do a system where it's X number of tickets per ride, designed to confuse drunk and stupid people. Annoying to say the least. Kiddie rides are 3-5 tickets each = $4.50 to $7.50 per person per ride (+ tax). Adult rides were 6-10 tickets each = $9 to $15 pp per ride (+ tax). So you'll wanna do the math for all the peeps in your party, and how many times you want to go, and how much you need for your ride fix. Or don't, and just get drunk and spend hundreds. Whatever. To put it into perspective, Disney passes are $109/pp/day, and you can easily match that here if you don't pay attention. While I definitely want my kid to have fun, there are much bigger priorities in my budget for him, so savings on this kind of entertainment are really worth it, and I will be seeking that sale later this year. For my recent visit, my toddler was able to get 2 rides with parent, and 2 kids only rides, and that was a ball for a first visit. But I know the BEGGING I used to do, so I am just waiting for that next year, lol. We didn't do any games, that is a hard no for me. I lack skills to win anything for my kid, and the prizes don't seem worth the money anyway. I realize there is a thrill in "winning" something, or having it won for you, but eh, it's just not for me. The novelty food, too, just isn't worth it. As a kid we only ever did rides because games and food were never even on my radar. It's also later in the evening/night and not really healthy to eat so late, especially for kids, so again, just not my thing. What else? Oh, parking. We parked on the street with the Wildwood app. It was like $2.50/hour. We ended up needing 2 hours, and were able to pay for just one, and get an alert when our time was running out, so we could just pay from the app, while still enjoying the boardwalk. Very simple. Our car was all safe about a block from the boardwalk, in a well lit spot. I felt safe getting back into the car with a toddler even when dark out, past 10pm. Their toll free number is really unpleasant. It's insultingly cheesy "congratulations you dialed our number, good for you" and designed to be as verbose and circuitous as possible to keep you listening to this nonsense for minutes before a menu comes up. All considered, I recommend Morey's, but advise getting tickets or passes during that 40% off sale! Enjoy, and (nose-pinched voice) "Please watch the tram car!"
