I don't know if someone was just having an off day or what because these sushi rolls are just not it. I took pictures to post but it won't let me upload for some reason. They were REALLY messy looking, uneven, mostly rice with barely anything in the center and if you looked on both sides of the roll the filling in the center was only on one side. I spent $10 on basically a rice roll with nothing in it, that tasted like it had been left out for awhile.

This place is definitely a pleasantly surprise in Parma. They offer premium quality sushi with affordable prices. Their ingredients are always fresh. Hibachi meal and fried rice are also super good deal. This is not a sit-down restaurant. But it is my #1 go-to place for take home sushi

What a change in quality and quantity since my last visit. Look at all the skin and bloodline from the overcooked salmon.

I've gotten excellent food numerous times throughout the last 4+ yrs. If you look at my 1st review picture it was crazy good. Salmon was a full filet, fresh. Scallops were huge, whole and awesome . I've been getting just chicken hibachi (which is huge and awesome) due to high prices, but I decided to splurge. Instead of chicken at $9.95, I got salmon and scallops for $17.95. What I received was cut in half undercooked scallops, maybe a total of 4 whole ones, and a perfect quarter of an inch thick slice of salmon that clearly was cut off a frozen block. It had a gross huge bloodline running through it plus left on skin that I picked off. At the end of all that excess work I was left with a small amount of edible salmon until I tasted it. It was not only dry and overcooked it was nasty. I opted not to eat the salmon but by then I had cut it apart and everything tasted gross. My cat wouldn't come near it. Now I'm hesitant to order from then again.

Overly rice-laden rolls though shrimp tempura and sweet potato were good. Price is right makes all the difference here.

I'll share what I absolutely love about Omizu. I usually order from UberEats, and I normally just order salmon rolls, spicy tuna rolls, etc., because I normally have avocado at home. This one time--I didn't have any. But I also didn't want to pay extra for avocado. I placed a note in my UberEats order "PLEASE ADD AVOCADO". And they did--no extra charge. I was so happy and I devoured my meal. My top picks: * Spicy Tuna * Salmon Lover * Salmon Roll, Tuna Roll, & Spicy Salmon Roll One day, we went inside to celebrate my friends birthday. She was a fan of hibachi, and wanted to try sushi for the first time. I had came earlier and asked them to store a cake for me--they gladly took it and presented it at a timely manner for us to celebrate her first sushi + her cake! Above and BEYOND this restaurant goes--impeccable service and quality.

**This is a 3.5 star review.**…read more I was looking for something a little different in the culinary challenged town of Parma, and this joint fit the bill. The atmosphere here was warm, inviting and clean on our visit. And despite that they had bluegrass music blaring, it still felt like a Japanese restaurant. Service here was also polite, quick and efficient. I started with an order of calamari, which literally came out in two minutes. It was panko-crusted and about as rubbery as the set of Michelins that I had installed on my car a few weeks ago. That's not a deal-breaker, as there have been only two places in my life that have served melty calamari -- both of them Italian joints, As an aside, there are two secrets to cooking calamari. First, they need to soak in milk, as the lactic acid breaks down muscle. Secondly, they need to be dredged in an egg mixture so they brown quickly without overcooking the meat. But I digress. I took a couple sips of the miso soup, which was nicely flavored. I didn't touch the salad, but the person who did said it was good. The udon noodles were nicely presented and had excellent flavor. The coconut shrimp was the total opposite of the calamari in that it was cooked to perfection. I'm not sure what the dipping sauce was, but it was also phenomenal, and I'll be looking for a copycat recipe. As for the sushi, it was good. Not earth-shattering, but beautifully presented with a nice contrast of flavors and temperatures. I'm not sure about the cherry on top, but what the hell. If I lived here, this place would be a regular stop for me ... especially because they have Sam Adams Boston Lager on draft.

Where else can you get all-you-can-eat sashimi, sushi rolls, hibachi, and other appetizers for under 30 bucks? I went here for dinner, and for $28.99, I got a whole lot of sashimi, sushi rolls, hibachi scallops, shumai, strawberry ice cream, etc. Everything was delicious. The sashimi tasted great, and the sushi rolls were filling, though thankfully, Kintaro doesn't go too heavy on the rice. I thought the hibachi scallops were better than a lot of non-AYCE hibachi restaurants. They were tender and flavorful, and if I wasn't absolutely stuffed from the sashimi and sushi, I would have gotten another order of scallops. Like always, the service was great, and the staff was friendly. Our server frequently checked up on us and refilled our waters. So glad that you can still get a reasonably priced, delicious, and beyond filling meal here, even during these times of economic uncertainty.

Everything tasted fine, so we just assumed it was a communication issue. So we came back, this time it had a quarter of the menu and the quality took a sharp dive. Pretty amazing since it had been less than a week. Most of the menu was missing, our waiter seemed clueless, nice but clueless. I've never been to a hotpot that didn't have quail eggs all day. All the grill meat came out frozen, the cuts were thin and bad. The green peppers tasted like the blade that cut them, dry and metallic. I don't know that was way too wild a swing in quality we won't be back. We can't win with hotpot in Ohio it seems, for how much hotpot is in the US, I expect better than this. Kpot is still the worst but this last time at Kintaro is up there. Guess I'm looking for another hotpot place. It was clean and organized, the floor is in bad shape in the dining area but other than that it didn't feel dirty or unkempt.

The décor is beautiful -- clean lines, artistic touches, and an aesthetic that makes the whole experience feel elevated. The sushi menu is a bit more limited compared to larger chains, but the options they do offer are creative and high-quality. Our absolute favorite was the Signature Ukiyoe Roll -- super flavorful, beautifully presented, and easily the star of the night. Everything we grabbed from the belt tasted fresh and well-crafted. A surprise highlight was the udon. The broth was rich and comforting, making it the perfect add-on if you want something warm and hearty with your sushi. 10/10 Service was friendly, plates came out steadily, and the overall vibe makes this a fun spot for a quick bite or casual dinner. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy conveyor belt sushi with a modern twist. ** Do note that since it's still very new, the restaurant is pretty low volume, meaning you'll see more empty spots on the conveyor belt than you might expect. Hopefully as more people discover the place, the flow will pick up and the belt will feel fuller.
