It was his duty to ensure current taxes were paid and he didn't. Instead, when approached by the Buyers' lawyer to say the taxes were unpaid and there were arrears he told the other lawyer he would contact his clients however to have her clients just pay the taxes! The Buyers directly contacted the Sellers to ask about the taxes and the Sellers had no idea there was an issue and stated they had not heard from their lawyer. The Sellers rectified the situation; not their lawyer. IMO he was very unethical, breached Protocol and does not care about doing what is right.

My father left a hand written will that the probate court rejected and it took less than a year to be completed. This is becoming a total money grab on their part and we will be going over that bill with a fine tooth comb. To add insult to injury they continue to spell family member names wrong despite being corrected multiple times and address us on a first name basis in correspondence like we are friends. That they can't formally address people correctly shows what a shoddy firm they are. Would never recommend them.

Made appointment…read morewith a lawyer( Horne) that was referred to me When I went in for appointment, I was switch and baited to a different lawyer, when I questioned this the response was it must have been a mistake by receptionist( which became a common excuse) Was promised work requested to be done by an agreed date, when that date arrived, excuses started flowing, I tried to be reasonable and allowed 4 additional days. When that was not enough time then I was told that lawyer had never agreed to original date, and in my opinion it was never even looked at until the last day of the four day extension. Long story short by the time work was completed, it was no longer needed as other party involved moved on to deal with other business opportunities. So long story short paid for work that was no longer valid by the time it was finished. Horribly unimpressed and wouldn't use them again if they offered to work for free. Get all details of when work is to be completed in writing, because in this case the person I needed to protect myself against was the lawyer, ironically.
