Had a procedure scheduled for tomorrow and at 4:30 pm the night (tonight) before I received a text saying they separated from Humana. To bad the doctors don't read the shitty yelp reviews. Was running late for my appointment called in advance to tell them that I was running late before I left. They told me over the phone that they had a 30 minute grace period policy and that as long as I arrive within 30 minutes that I would be seen. I drive 30 minutes to the appointment And the building is huge. They only the entire thing and have multiple offices inside. I was walked over to where the office is located by a staff member from a different department once I get there still within the 30 minute grace period. They tell me the doctor won't see me and they would have to reschedule. Appointment was at 340 and I was in the building by 4PM. read more

I had shoulder surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and biceps tendon rupture with Dr. Bryan Butler. He and everyone at OMGTB including the surgical staff were awesome! It's been quite the process with physical therapy but I have complete use of my shoulder without pain or limitation. I'm so glad I decided to have it done. Refuse to help their patients! I had a follow-up appointment, but felt blown-off. Finally saw Dr. Donaldson who wanted nothing to do with me. You guys requested a follow-up, not me, and tell me there's nothing you can do for me. I know there's nothing you can do for me. At least give me some hope! Evidently I'm not one of your preferred patients who'll shell out big money for expensive operations. You can't pick and choose who you work on, but you can choose to be the best you can be. read more

Worst experience ever. Not only did I NEVER see the doctor I am paying to see, I was also told there was nothing wrong, told me I didn't have a fracture but I needed to wear a boot and prescribed medication. When I asked more questions about my "non-condition" I couldn't get answers. The person I did see never told me her name, I don't even know if she is a MD/DO or just a MedTech. All in all, you will never see a doctor and if you have to call, be prepared to wait on hold a minimum of 20 minutes (and they only have 9 doctors in the practice) if you press the button for a call back your still put on hold when they call back. A joke of customer service and since the doctor doesn't actually see you your better off going to another practice where you will actually see a doctor and get the care needed. read more

I unfortunately had to visit OMG after I had a bicycle accident and fractured my radius. When I was arrived to the Brandon office I found out my appointment was actually in the Riverview location. The front desk person was very helpful and rescheduled me for the same time at he Brandon office. Phew, what a relief! After a week of walking around without a cast I was happy they could do that. All paperwork was done on an ipad which made the process simple. They called me back shortly after where they took x-rays and I saw a doctor. He showed me the broken bone and then sent me on my way with a script for a removable arm cast. He said it was that or he could do a fiberglass one there, no thanks! After leaving the office I received a phone call from them asking if I could come back. Much to my surprise they found out they could give me the brace there and they apologized for the confusion. They then heated up what looks like an arm brace and molded it to my arm. It fits great and my arm feels so much better now that its supported. I am so glad they called me back and I could just get it taken care of there! Will update more after my next visit. read more

Gave it 1 star because I had to but it deserves no star tbr ! Doctor ******Donaldson *** 's bed side manners are almost noun! he is very rude , 10-10 don't recommend! He evidently doesn't care about his patients and it seems like he see's $ signs instead of people. I was 34 weeks pregnant had Covid , lungs collapsed after a c section with my son ! I was air lifted and put in a coma , had ecmo done once I woke up someone miss handled me during all of that and fractured my femur and it took about 4 months for them to do their job and find out my leg was fractured by then it hasn't been taken care of properly so it healed improper land he was heartless to the fact I can't pick my newborn up with out my wheel chair for safety reasons ! I use my walker other then that and refused to write me a new prescription for my wheel chair! Seeking another doctors opinion atm ! It's evident he must not have children of his own as I explained I used it during Halloween while my son sat in my lap while I was pushed and he said well I guess you can't do those things if you can't walk with him for long period of time! It took everything in me to not punch him in his face. Then he proceeded to say my leg is very weak for something that happened 5 months ago ! When they just found out 2 weeks ago my leg was fractured and didn't know this whole time so it hasn't got the proper medical attention it needed ! I will be contacting my lawyer I'm thankful my uncle was state representative about a year ago and a lawyer for years now so he will point me in the right direction! Orthopedic Medical Group in Tampa dropped the ball big time. The surgery on my wife's hip went well, but a month after the operation she complained about pain around the hip area. They ignored her complains saying it was just healing. Going again for a last follow up she complained again to a different doctor within the group and this time they acted on it and discovered that the pin was an inch or two too far and hitting a nerve. So, she asked to be scheduled as soon as possible since the out of pocket is already met and she would prefer not to put that in next year out of pocket if she could avoid it. They once again drop the ball there, but this time more from an admin perspective then a doctor. After calling once or twice every week to get it scheduled. She had to drop it as it was too late. The problem was that her main doctor was going on vacation and even if he told her she could have it done by another doctor, their staff didn't act accordingly and gave my wife all kinds of trouble. Today she went again to see them expecting the operation to be scheduled. It was, but in two months. So another 2 months of pain because of their incompetence and nobody is trying to at fess up to hit and move things around so she could go earlier. That is without counting that every visit is at lease 2 hours of wait. All I can do to make them feel some pain is tell others. So, if you need any orthopedic consultation DO NOT go see that group. If you do and anythings goes wrong, you are going to feel the pain...literally! read more

My appointment was at 8:50 got there at 8:20 to get all the paperwork done. Was taken back to the room a few minutes after my appointment time. At 9:50 I asked the ladies at the front desk if they knew how much longer it would be and they were so rude, acted like I was bothering them and then when I asked if they knew how many patients were ahead of me they couldn't answer that either. The doctor does finally make it into the room and he was great! So if you have a whole day to spend at the doctor and don't mind rude clerical staff, you should give a try. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I have been there twice. It was a long time before I went back and I thought if I see a different Dr. it will be OK. Wrong. I don't really remember the staff from the first time, but the wait was long both times. There was one nice lady working in the front the second time. The first time Dr. Goldsmith, Sr. took forever to see me, then could not stand the fact I asked a couple of questions about my shoulders. He would walk by me and ignore me. I had to speak up so he would answer. He acted like I was looking for drugs or something, which really made me mad. I was just tired of the pain and could hardly sleep at night, so I went to see him to find out what could be done about the constant pain. He gave me a shot in one shoulder and bye bye. He put things in my report that were an outrageous lie. I couldn't believe it. I was going to write a grievance on him, but I took too long and time ran out. Anyway, the second Dr., Bryan Butler saw me and I told him about the pain in my shoulders and back, he adamantly refused to treat my back, I had all of my MRI's with me and he did not even look at them, he gave no reason, but gave me shots in my shoulders. One shot hurt like hell and left a huge bruise. Before the shots though he was asking me what was wrong with my shoulders. I tried to explain then he picked up my arm and twisted it and I screamed really loud because it hurt so bad. I think that made him mad because he was trying to rudely quite me down. I was so upset after that I just got my paperwork and left. Normally I would fight back after something like that, but I guess I was too emotional at the time. I will never step foot in there again. Trust when I tell you to NOT go to this office. Dr. Goldsmith was a very nice doctor, however, the office staff there totally voids any positive experience you have with the doctor. I found this doctor through my insurance company and had my initial visit in April 2016. From that time until today, not only has the office staff continued to change, my knee surgery has been moved around so much that I have run out of time before I have to be back at work and ultimately had to cancel the surgery. They have billed my insurance company with bogus claims because they call and request appointments that are unnecessary. I have had to leave appointments to retrieve my MRI's and medical records because the office staff did not have them available for the doctor to review at the time of my appointment. I wouldn't trust these people to pull a hang nail let alone put me under to cut open my knee. read more

OMG indeed. After waiting over a 1/2 hour on the phone just to set a new appt, I was told the referring physician would need to fax over the referral before any appointment would be made even though said referral was in my hand. I had no objection to having the referral faxed but after waiting that long just to speak to a live person, we could have at least set the appointment. That's a ridiculous rule to apply when one has no idea the rule exists & the individual I spoke to (Rebecca) was rude & dismissive at the very idea that I would question this. If this is the first communication with a potentially new patient & the simplest of actions is fraught with rude, uncaring behavior & superfluous red tape, I can imagine I would not find the experience positive to take any further. I had my hesitations based on the robotic nature of the wait on hold & the long list of doctors on the roster (can anyone say assembly line) & my very first actual conversation did nothing to allay those concerns.
