Avoid this place as they do unfair and immoral billing. They told me prior to making an appointment they accepted my insurance. Then they only charged me a deductible after my appointment only to bill me in full when I got a statement in the mail. They refused to accept responsibility and correct the bill as they made a mistake since I would of went somewhere else that would of taken my insurance. The office manager, Karen Rocchi, was a bully and very unprofessional and would not take responsibility for the fact which was proven that they told me they did take my insurance prior to my appointment. Spent almost $400-500 on glasses and I still wasn't able to get the prescription and power I needed to read things clearly. After getting the glasses, I scheduled another appointment to fix the prescription. I was NEVER told that after my first time rescheduling to fix the prescription, that I would have to pay an additional $30-40 dollars. I ended up rescheduling again because I was desperate to fix it since I paid that much already for the glasses. I was then told they couldn't fix the prescription for me because apparently I was "seeing 20/20." If I was seeing 20/20, why would I waste my time and money to reschedule to fix it? Also, if they couldn't fix it or do anything, why charge me the additional $30-40? Overall, I wasted my time AND money. Better to just go to Costco. read more

After giving Oroville Vision my business for over 25 years I will not go back to them again. The doctors and exams are great but getting the lenses corrected the girls are rude, I had to take my glasses back 3 times to get the lens corrected and twice the one helping me was telling me in a very rude way that it was me not the glasses, I had to get stern with her, the lens weren't correct. When making my first appointment had to wait almost 2 months for the appointment. Girl on the phone sounded very unfriendly but I decided to give them a try. On the day of the appointment I arrived and was told that they were rescheduling patients due to the Corona virus. This was understandable due to the government requirements that they not do business at the time. They claimed they tried to call me two times to reschedule but I received no calls and nothing was ever on my answering machine (which answers after 4 rings). They then said they could get me in in another 2 months which seemed ridiculous so I told them to forget it and I would find another doctor. Just did not get a good impression with my contacts with this company. Will go to a business were I feel I am appreciated as a customer/patient. read more

My first time here the office staff was terribly rude. Especially the woman in the back that is supposed to help you find your glasses. She kept rolling her eyes and was the least helpful person she could possibly be. I ended up finding a pair of glasses I liked so I went back the next week to order them. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. When I went back she was still being mean the entire time. I told her I wanted to order glasses, but wanted to be assured that if I couldn't see through them I could get the lenses adjusted. She said they don't offer any type of adjustments even if their customer can't see through the glasses!! Even if it was their fault in putting the wrong focal point. You're basically stuck with glasses you would never use. Completely pointless. I told her I was going to look around and I might be back. She was very eager to have me leave. I'm not surprised by the bad reviews here. The assistants/office workers are just terrible! PS. The next eyeglass place I went to after this was helpful, quick, and an overall great experience. They're always prompt and professional and treat their patients with kindness and care, much like you'd expect from an old friend. Even since I've moved out of the area, I still come back for glasses when I come to visit family. They have the best selection of glasses I've found and are helpful when it comes to special ordering and anything else related to contacts and glasses. I recently broke a pair of new glasses and they were extremely helpful with getting them ordered and sent to me since I wasn't able to come back at that time.
