At Walgreens the past several times I've waited upwards of 10-15 min to pick up an already filled script just because of a lack of available pharm techs due to the pandemic and their dedication to processing Covid tests, vaccines and drive-through. At Hannaford if you need to speak to the actual pharmacist he's almost always available and helpful! The way Rite Aid's is laid out the pharmacist is in a separate part of the pharmacy. Waiting in their store in line is excruciating for me I am a miserably impatient person. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes at Hannaford. And when they are running behind shopping in their store while they fill your script is pleasant, there's always some thing I need to pick up there.

This is the second time I've tried to refill it, my insurance card was stolen so I only have a couple options for where I can send my meds. The lady refused to help try and get it switched as well, all because she didn't want to turn her computer back on since it takes 3 minutes to do so. I work in customer service and i've contacted my insurance, doctors, and other local pharmacies closer to home and they still aren't able to transfer it to a different pharmacy it's been sitting there ready for days. When i explained this to her and told her I was literally staring directly at it she told me to call a different pharmacy repeatedly and when i explained my situation she continued to provided extremely unhelpful information. The three minutes it would've taken you to turn on your laptop made the difference in my mentally stability, as a human and a physician i'd think you'd have enough kindness in your heart to at least try.

Some things that make patronizing this business a poor experience: -Navigating the aisles and accessing food is CHALLENGING due to pallets waiting to be stocked and the stockers blocking the aisles and/or access to products. It is rare for them to notice customers trying to get to products. This is true at peak hours and in high traffic aisles (dairy case). One might surmise that they don't care. -There is no easy way to get help, especially help finding things. There is no customer service desk. Stockers are not helpful beyond saying " I think that might be in aisle 5". The Website is not accurate. -The pharmacy is SLOW. It is not uncommon for you to be ignored at the window while staff chats. The pharmacy also closes mid-afternoon, apparently for lunch. Imagine the implications for some people.... -Check out lines are long, long, long. Checkers are often slow. -When I took the opportunity to tell the store manager about the difficulty I had accessing products because of pallets blocking access he said "That ain't gonna change". No empathy, no apology, nothing.

I was walking through the store with my 6 year old daughter when he approached us, startling us from behind asking if we needed anything. I said that we were fine and he proceeded to stand there, staring at my daughter for a solid extra 10 seconds. I thought it was weird at first but then it got worse. As we were walking around different isles of the store he was seemingly stalking us. Moving around and behind the isles we were going through. Still looking at my daughter. She's 6 and even she knew that something was wrong. Never going back, as long as he's still running the place.
