That changed quickly when I decided to return the item. My main complaint about Ferro Jewelers is that they misrepresented the content of the necklace that I purchased. I was told that it was 18k gold but discovered later that it was gold plated over sterling; there's a big difference. The owner, Brian Ferro, was very reluctant to refund my money, stating that most of the necklace was solid gold except for the plated clasp. If I hadn't brought a friend/experienced jeweler along with me to refute what he was saying, I don't think I would have gotten my money back. He finally refunded my money but was quite irritated about it. I would venture to say that when most people attempt to return something, he is able to confuse them with his "jeweler talk." Fortunately I had my own jeweler with me who knew the truth. I got out of the store as quickly as I could. Buyer Beware!

Reading the manager's response to their negative reviews makes it obvious he spends more time refuting the reviews and shaming the reviewer rather apologizing for his behaviour.

This place was recommended to us from the guy that we rented are air b and b from. He told us it was something we should check out while we were in the area. My mother loves going into little shops and buying unique items. My mother and I stopped in and there was a variety of art and unique items in the shop. I seen this cool looking cooler that looked like a truck. I looked at the price tag and it was seven hundred dollars. This unique shop is not the cheapest and everything was very pricey, but everything is handmade by an artist because there are many artists in the Stowe, Vermont area. My mother ended up buying candles and couples of souvenirs. The store was a great experience to walk through and see a variety of art from different artists. The customer service was great and the staff were very through.

He walked out from the back with just the expired battery he removed from my watch to show me. Buying rings can be an overwhelming experience but Mike and the staff were super helpful on site and thoroughly went over questions such as what we wanted; what was important to us; likes/dislikes; etc - and used that info to narrow the focus and show us options that would potentially work. Both the bride and groom are super happy with the results and Lippa's wedding bands will be with us the rest of our lives. We highly recommend Lippa's.
