This is always important when buying a bike, and they made my girlfriend very comfortable when she was working her way through her decision. To make things a better fit, they gave her a good deal on a quick modification to the bike that was done while we waited, so she could try out the fit. Any bike purchased here comes with 2 years of tune ups for free as well as a bottle and cage - can't beat that! While it's crazy to find three bike stores within a half mile of each other, this is the only one you should visit while in New Hartford/Utica area.

What I'm trying to say is that I took up biking for exercise. I found a couple of beat up bikes to ride, but they needed some love. One tire was about to bust, the other's rear hub was a minor issue and needed new tubes and tires, so I looked around and found this shop. Bike Works knows their biz. It's not a huge shop, but the people are cool, and the mechanics know bikes. They quickly looked mine over, diagnosed the problems, and told me it might be a few days because they weren't sure if they had the right size tires in at the moment, or if they had to get them from the supplier in a couple days. (I don't know if it's this pandemic or if they are always this slammed, but it seems like half the area knows they're the best, because they're busy, too.) Turned out they had the tires, because they called me the next day to tell me I was good to go. I'm no expert either, but judging by the prices of tires and tubes I found online, they didn't charge too much for labor, which is nice. When I have more bike issues, I'm definitely coming back this way.

The helpful associate at Resource Cycling showed me how there was barely any wax on them and compared the bottoms to a pair they had just worked on at Resource Cycling. Night and day difference. I waited over 2 weeks to get my skis back at the other place. Resource Cycling had my skis done in just under 24 hours! They went above and beyond to right the wrong of the other shop. My skis are now filled, waxed and sharpened properly and honestly look brand new. I will HIGHLY recommend Resource Cycling for ski waxing to everyone I know!

The price was much more reasonable buying it in December and I believe I received great value in this bicycle! I have been riding the trails, on my college campus and around the neighborhood with no problems. Today Dale helped me be prepared for the expected tire blowout with tools and a spare tube to change it with. Also, I purchased a very low profile bag for under the seat to help keep the these live savers on the trail. Finally, Dale showed me the different lubricants to use on the chain. I purchased the oil and he gave me a little instruction on how to best apply it. Knowledgeable people with great customer service is a combination that I appreciate from Dale and Syracuse Bicycle!
