My company has used Shred-It for at least the last couple of years. The last time I saw one of…read moretheir trucks come to empty our boxes of documents to be shredded was last year. Now several of our boxes are full and Shred-It will not honor the pick-up schedule they set with us. Being an IT organization, my company tries to be as paperless as possible. However, there are a fair amount of documents that need to be shredded. By my estimation, Shred-It should have visited several times since the last time they were here. Some of these boxes are so full that anybody could reach through the small opening to pull documents out again. My company is in the process of selecting a new secure document shredding service that can be trusted. I recommend that everybody avoid Shred-It.
