I argue with him that chili is on every menu item. Why do I need to ask for it? He said the last time he came to he did not receive chili. He was correct both cheeseburgers had no chili. Its Tommy's. Its a classic. Its food I grew up on. I didn't need to come to Palmdale to get Tommy's as we have a few in the Las Vegas Valley that I could hit up any time. But to have Tommy's in SoCal from which both the brand and myself originate, awesome. This Tommy's seemed quicker than the one I go to in Las Vegas. I appreciate that more than you know. On this visit, my grandparents and I all ordered a chili tamale. Our orders came up within a couple of minutes. I don't get the tamale very often but it sure is good. I mean a tamale is good on its own but you add on chili, onions, pickles, cheese and tomato, you are talking next level. It is a fork and knifer I assure you. The pickles and tomato help to cut through the thick chili bringing a perfect balance with a hint of spice. Again, I didn't have to come to Palmdale to get my Tommy's fix but I love that I can whenever I am in SoCal and have a craving. read more

Service was horrible there were 4 people at the counter and not one would take my order. Finally they realized that I had been waiting for someone to help me after 10 minutes someone finally realized I was there. The kicker was when I was able to order they said no fountain drinks were available. I was really frustrated and decided to leave. Such a bad experience the entire staff was more focused on drive thru orders than the customers that are coming in to eat there. Think twice before you go to this location. read more

If you're a fussy eater, go to that expensive coffeehouse chain and have a $15 sandwich with your $10 cup of coffee. Tommy's is a place for people that like to EAT!!! There are those who say this isn't as good as when, or where, rampart and Beverly , Roscoe and the 405 ect ect ect. I really love Tommy's chili burgers and the new caliente burger is great! With a potato bun larger hamburger patty and all the other topping chopped yellow peppers makes this a favorite of mine that with chili cheese fries and a diet coke lol.... Really some of the other stuff about what music is playing getting a dog with out chili really? When we eat here were in and out in 20 minutes! Everything needs to be eaten with the chili! Terrible service, very rude employees. They don't repeat there orders so expect it to be wrong. When I called to say that my order was wrong the lady who answered the phone had no customer service and didn't even apologize for her mistake. Fries aren't even cooked or no seasoning. Weak place. The burgers are very tasty with their scrumptious chili( although I have to complain that they were kind of limited in the amount of chili in my burger, I felt it needed more) but overall it's delicious fries made up for it. We are fans of this chain and know what to expect when we order. I always like this location. We go out of the way to eat here. We prefer dine-in, but since covid restrictions have only been about to take out. I was worried about the quality by the time we got home, but if you eat quickly or our less than 10 minutes away, you will be fine. The manager there is very friendly and even recognizes us. We had not been in nearly a year - after going weekly - due to early 2020 dieting and then covid. However he recognized me and even remembered our usual order! I am definitely not a person who leaves yelp reviews but I definitely felt that this was necessary due to the amazing staff at Tommy's. Myself and my family just finished having a late dinner and was very impressed with how kind every staff member was. We had a short conversation (nobody was behind me) I did not feel rushed the staff offered my kids ice cream but not before asking my permission and I definitely appreciate that ! When asked for help with a spill 2 staff members came out to assist without getting upset.. me and my family will definitely be back .A good environment is always worth a returned trip. read more
