I like to come here every now and then when I feel the craving. lol Tommy's has a distinct chilli and I love their chilli cheese burgers and chilli cheese fries. I worked late and hit the drive thru on my way home. The guys that work there are always so sweet. This time I only ordered the double cheese burger with chilli of course and it was amazing. Yum! Quick service. I watched them finish putting my order together. Funny enough I always come at night so I'm using the drive-thru. The ambiance is quick and friendly. I recommend this location. I can't help it, this is a guilty pleasure for me. Honestly, I know it's basically Hormel chili on a burger or hot dog, but it's just so good! I've had both the chili cheeseburger and the chili hot dog and they really hit the spot. You can get combos that come with fries and a drink. The people working here are nice and do a good job. Never really personally ate an original Tommy's burger so I can't really speak on them. Every time I visit Tommys I always order their chili cheese fries with a side of peppers. I have been going to Tommy's since the 70's. Went today for the special price for the cheeseburger (with chili, of course.) I don't know if it's because of the special pricing but the size of the burger is much smaller than usual. Very disappointing. read more

If you enjoy chili burgers, this is the absolute best place to go bar none. The double chili burger is the way to go.

Food: 3/5 Tommy's is a little pricey for what it is, but it does taste good. It's not a looker and you'll feel it afterwards. All that said, I was excited to finally try it out. Service: 4/5 They're fast and efficient. Our food was out in under 5 minutes from ordering. Environment: 2/5 Not the most welcoming restaurant in the world. The dining room was trashed, the furniture was falling apart, and the bathroom was in ruin. Ordered a chili burger on a Saturday. It was a special at $3.49. I've had it many times haven't been to this unit in about two months. my wife and I were thoroughly disappointed. The bun felt and tasted stale/old. The chili was cold, possibly Luke warm at best. It was not the usual quality that we have experienced many times. Ever feeling inclined to eat a meal just because you paid so much for it? That pretty much sums up my experience here. This place is extremely overpriced and the food tastes terrible. The chili itself tastes like it from the can and the french fries are certainly freezer fries. The burger patties might be decent, but they're destroyed by everything else that they slap on top of it. The burger seem reasonably priced. A triple for nine bucks didn't sound so bad. They also sell a quarter pounder. I asked the employee what the size and price difference between those two and he wasn't really sure. I asked which one was bigger he said both. I asked what the price difference was, he said $1. Ok fine. I ordered a triple combo, which is supposed to come with fries and a drink. He could not tell me my total at the drive-through box so I had to wait until I got to the window. Imagine my surprise when I found out the price of my lunch just doubled because I added one bottle of Aquafina water and one order of fries without chili. Now we're up to $15 and change for lunch that comes nowhere close to meeting that price. Did I happen to mention that he asked if I want to catch up and utensils with my meal and I said yes. For my giant fries I got four packages of ketchup and no utensils. I really appreciate you gave me three napkins because your sloppy greasy mess would've gotten my car very dirty. Usually, I don't leave reviews for places that aren't good even though I should. I just typically check in and don't leave any review whatsoever. That's how you you'll know that your place is not the jam. Other, however, I feel that I need to go out of my way to let everyone else know to steer clear of an establishment. What can I say about the world famous Tommy's Burgers, other than the place was amazing. Granted, I didn't dine in, but instead chose to use the drive thru, as I hadn't yet chosen between here, or the new Chinese food place a few spaces down. There was no line so I was able to check out the menu before I pulled in and fully committed. I had seen the massive billboard about a mile down the Boulder Highway, and this was my first time trying out the food. There seemed to be some buzz about their Triple Chili Cheeseburger, so I said why not, let's go for it, and boy was I glad I did. The girl who took my order was polite and professional, but unfortunately, I forgot her name. After I pulled to the window she asked if I wanted hot chili peppers on the side. I gladly said yes! When I got back to my hotel room, I unwrapped the beautiful piece of food art, and began to divulge. As I took intermittent bites of the burger, and the chili peppers, they made music in my mouth, with my taste buds getting front row seats. I had never before tried the one with the other, but it worked out very nicely. In addition, there were plenty of peppers, and they were nicely wrapped in a little tray with a cover, so as not to leak moisture in the bag. Also, I ordered it well-done, which is how I like my burgers, and it was cooked to perfection. This is something that I can really appreciate, as many of the drive thru burger joints are unable to process this request, either because they do not know where the key is located on the register, or because they simply do not care about accuracy, and just want to clear cars from the line. All in all, these guys are doing things right, and their staff is on point, just as much as their food. read more

A few were a little salty, but not too bad. The cheese was melted perfectly. The consistency was that of shredded not the runny cheese. My family ordered the chili cheese fries and burgers. For some the chili was a little spicy for others it was just perfect. The food again was the perfect temperature even for being delivered. The food was a reasonable size for the price.
