The "stylists" were friendly and seemed knowledgable. My wife and I spent about an hour looking through fabric and having my measurements taken, which overall was fun. My sone small criticism at this stage was I felt they prodded me a bit too much into upgrading from "custom" to "bespoke", despite the fact that I had already agreed to spend what I consider a lot of money. After we finalized all details, they told me it would take 6-8 weeks to make and arrive. Eeeee. That's longer than I wanted to wait...but fine, good things are often worth the wait. Four weeks later, I received a call and was told they haven't even started making the suit as they don't actually have the fabric I selected. They then (albeit gently) again suggested I upgrade to "bespoke" so I could get a similar fabric. I was frustrated at how long it took them to identify the issue, so I ultimately asked for a refund and they didn't fuss too much and reasonably promptly refunded my credit card today. To give them the benefit of the doubt, they very well may have been a "one off" kind of mess up, but I lost patience and am now in the market for a competitor.

I dealt only with Hugo and appreciated the way he did business. He was thoughtful. The measuring session went great. His recommendations were spot on, and I ended up with a fantastic suit and the most comfortable shirt in my life. Okay, so let me be a bit more specific: By reasonable prices, I mean reasonable by non-sweatshop standards. These are not cheap clothes (prices seem to run in the $70 to $200 range), but consider that people are actually making a living designing and making them right here in the city, and then get out your wallet and pay what well made, unique clothes are actually worth. Or if you have to, wait until August and February and hit the sales. By real-world array of sizes, I mean there are plenty of Extra Smalls on the racks, but there are also Extra Larges and even one or two XXLs. The owner told me that she tries very hard to have something for everyone. Now, I'm a size 14/16ish, right between regular and plus size. Most stores (whether regular or plus size) have a depressing lack of selection for me, but I've been able to find lots of pieces to choose from at Fresh Collective. Most of the sales staff are the designers and artists who make the clothes and jewelery. These are the people I want to support so they can make more beautiful things for me to choose from.

Walking by outside, you cannot tell that this is a bridal boutique - the front of the store had all kinds of different clothing for sale and I would have walked right past it if I didn't see the sign. Service was good, however the selection they had in-stores was rather small. The price of the dress could not be beaten anywhere else and the dress came in very quickly! I ordered the dress on 06/29/2014 and was advised I would receive it by November (which is pretty impressive as most locations need 6 months). The dress arrived on 09/19/2014! The dress is beautiful and is exactly what I imagined. Minor alternations will be required (adding cups), and their in-house seamstress will be taking care of that in January 2015. The quote they provided was very reasonable. The only downside is the size of the fitting rooms. They are very small. I am fairly slim (street size 2) and there is just enough room to try on one a-line dress. There is absolutely no way you can have two dresses in there at the same time and I can only imagine how difficult it would be to try and get into a full skirt ball gown. Overall, I would not recommend starting your search here, but this place is quite a gem if you already have a specific dress in mind.

It's about 8 minutes away from the original location and comes with hassle free parking. I went there today for the first time since they moved and boy was it worth it! The studio/shop is lovely and shopping was fun and hassle free and unpressured. I had a better sense of how stylish the clothes are. I had a mandate in mind. I'm doing a lot of travelling and I wanted to put together a wardrobe that was easily interchangeable and fun to wear and that would easily fit into a carry on suitcase. I'm thrilled with what I bought. The value and quality was great. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you Julie. I love your vision.

I came to find Miik clothing & bought two of their Emily Cardigans & a dress. Julie is the store owner & she was there the day I came in. She was so helpful & I loved her positive & friendly attitude. The decor of the store is nice too. There are natural wood logs acting as posts for the clothing racks. It's a nice, light, airy feeling in the store. There are two change rooms at the back & a mirror nearby so you can check out how things fit on you. Will definitely be back in the store in the future!

She then proceeded to help me find the perfect silver edging for the blouse as well as the elegant and fine silver edging for the saree. It turned out quite fabulously, both the saree and the blouse. I was even able to purchase a set of absolutely gorgeous silver Eastern style earrings which was a perfect match to the look I was going for in the saree. Also, don't trust the store seamstresses - they only tell you after there are problems that they are amateurs. The first Burberry piece I purchased, four years ago, was a carryall bag, similar to the Smoked Check that was recently released. I was really excited about the opening of a Burberry store in Toronto, since the selection at Holt Renfrew tends to be limited. The men's section occupies the first floor and the store does get most of the collection offered on-line or in their US stores. In my opinion, Burberry is the perfect place to build your wardrobe with classic pieces. Staff are friendly and attentive without any of the attitude one might expect from a high end retail store. I love that staffs would introduce themselves, allow me to browse the store peacefully and available when I need some assistance. Several times they went out of their way to search the stock room for a particular size or item in stock but not currently displayed in the showroom.

The minute I entered the store, Jenny the SA was peeled to me - as if I was a shoplifter. I wanted to try on a trench coat my sister suggested and mistook the name of the Waterloo for the Windsor and began to speak down to me and mocked me during the time I was in the store. Never have I experienced anything like this. I didn't want to give her commission - soon as she smelled my resistance to purchase with her, she literally wouldn't show me the size on the trench coat and at some point turned the jacket and held it to her chest.. Don't need to be treated like that and don't need the trench coat because nothing comes at the price of my dignity. Done with Burberry and their hostile approach.
