I was looking for some quality headshots for my LinkedIn page to give my profile a more professional look as I began my job search. I chose Organic Headshots because the photos on their website looked high quality, the pricing was very reasonable compared with other options I looked at of similar quality, and they included all of the photos from the shoot in high resolution without watermarks. A lot of other places charge extra for that. My photographer was Alexander, and he was fantastic. He took the time to understand the purpose of my shoot and what I was hoping to get out of it. I brought several outfit options, and he helped me decide which clothes and backgrounds would work best. He walked me through different poses and angles so we could get a good variety of photos. I have a hard time smiling naturally for pictures, but Alexander was very patient and did a great job of guiding me through the process to get the best out of the shoot. It was a great experience. I'm really happy with the photos and would absolutely come back the next time I need professional photos. read more

My photo session with Organic Headshots was fantastic! Alexander was so fun to work with, and I'm really happy with the headshots I received. The studio was perfect as it had a backdrop/setting that matched the aesthetic I was going for re: the additional photos taken for my website. I would definitely recommend Organic Headshots, and specifically Alexander! read more

Great experience. Alexander was awesome. Super fun to to talk to, and the pictures turned out great.

This was the first time I had professional headshots done. It was a great experience! Kristine made me feel comfortable and was super helpful! I brought a bunch of outfit options not knowing what would photograph well and she assisted me in selected the outfits. She and the makeup artist were easy to talk to, welcoming, and made this new experience comfortable for me. Kristine guided me into positions/poses that work well in photos. I highly recommend Organic Headshots! For what you receive, the price is reasonable. The atmosphere is nice. There are a bunch of high-quality and customizable backgrounds you get to choose from. Overall, great experience in a situation where I am not super comfortable. Highly recommend! If you are on the fence - go for it and book! read more

I had a wonderful time at Organic Headshots. This was my first time at the studio and I loved it. Big shoutout to my photographer Genevieve and my make up artist Jen. The studio is great and has got a nice vibe. Before I started the session, Genevieve and Jen sat down with me and went over what I was looking for and looked through my older headshots to see what changes I want which I found to be very helpful. They truly listen to what you want and need. As someone who usually doesn't wear a lot of makeup, having Jen do my hair and makeup was very helpful as she really knew what makeup would work best to get camera ready. She understood exactly what I was looking for and I was really happy with how it turned out. Hair styling was also a good touch to give a professional look. Jen was also there throughout the photo session and would retouch my makeup and fix my hair between shots . Genevieve did an awesome job with the photo session. As someone who is camera shy, sometimes posing in front of the camera is a little daunting to me. However, I really enjoyed the headshot session and felt so comfortable. Genevieve made it fun and coached me so well with various poses and smiles to get a variety of photos to choose from. The photos would also appear on a live screen simultaneously so that helped me to figure out what poses and angles I liked best. Organic Headshots also gives you all the photos so no stress on choosing a photo then which was nice. When I received the file with my photos I was very happy with it. My friends and family were also impressed by how professional it looked. It's paying attention to the small details that makes a photoshoot top notch and Organic Headshots really delivers. Would definitely visit again in the future and would highly recommend. read more

I had an absolutely FANTASTIC experience with Kristine!! I usually hate having my pictures taken (which is even worse for professional headshots), but Kristine made it such an amazing and corrective experience for me! She was incredibly warm and patient, extremely competent and professional, made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, and took the best headshots I have ever had. Her retouching afterward was just the cherry on top! I can recommend her and Organic Headshots so highly! read more

I have been in a "headshot required" industry for 21 years. I absolutely hate having my picture taken. I have had my headshot taken many times and not even used the pictures. Genevieve True is a miracle worker. Not only am I using the pictures, but I actually love them! She did an amazing job from start to finish. Hands down the best experience I have had getting my picture taken. Highly recommend doing hair and make up, too. Great team work. I can confidently say that I'll finally have regular headshots taken now that I've found Organic Headshots. A million thanks! read more

I worked with Genevieve (photographer) and Rebecca (make-up and hair) for a professional photo on LinkedIn. It's something i had to do, not something i was looking forward to...YET, i had a blast! The ladies were professional, funny, accommodating and all around fantastic. They let me preview my photos and change around my hair and made 100% sure that i had photos i could see myself using. The space was great - clean, professional, well lit...all the things you would want from someone doing professional work. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. Thanks again ladies, my photo is up on LinkedIn :) read more

I had an absolutely great experience working with Organic Headshots! The studio is very warm and welcoming and is conveniently located (with free lot parking available). I worked with Alexander who was amazing! He was very easy to work with, provided great direction, and took great photographs. This was my first time getting headshots taken and he made me feel relaxed throughout the entire shoot. He was also able to recreate the background and lighting used for my company's headshots perfectly. I am very satisfied with the entire experience - the online booking process, the studio, the COVID safety measures taken, Alexander, the photos, the online gallery, and the additional services offered (like photo retouching). I highly recommend going to Organic Headshots for your headshots! read more

I had Genevieve as my photographer and Rebecca did my hair and makeup. I was seriously dreading updating my headshots, but these two ladies made it so easy, fun and comfortable. Rebecca is super conscientious and not only did an amazing job with my hair and makeup, but also stayed for the shoot and continually did touch ups and adjusted my hair so every pose was perfect! Genevieve totally knows her stuff, gets to know you and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time. She checks in to make sure you're getting what you want and makes any adjustments you request, while also giving great professional advice on everything from poses and smiles to your outfit and jewelry. They were both fantastic and I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who needs headshots! read more

Such a great team. We had so much fun getting our portraits done. They were extremely on top of COVID protocols, they made the studio so welcoming, and they are just great people. Period. Our photos came out better than we could have imagined and now I have the struggle of deciding which to post RIGHT NOW and which to post later. Thanks to Genevieve and the team! read more

This was my second session with Michelle, and I was extremely happy with the results both times. Michelle is a real professional, and excellent about giving directions about how to stand, smile, etc. It is also clear that she is taking safety very seriously during COVID, and I felt in good hands. I recommend Organic Headshots to everyone! read more

Michelle and Alexander were an extraordinary duo and a pleasure to work with. They were extremely kind, considerate, and very professional during the entire session I booked with their team. Their directions for me to go through various poses and their patience with an inexperienced person in front of the camera went a long way and made me feel more comfortable during the entire process. The final product was spectacular. I highly recommend Organic Headshots to any professional looking for an updated professional look for themselves or for their team. read more

I needed headshots done for a website and found out about Organic Headshots after a Metroboard event. Michelle was amazing to work with - great personality and made me feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy feat). She also helped me choose the right outfit for my photo with a strategic grimace when I pulled a shiny orange shirt out of my garment bag. Okay blue shirt it is. I got the social media package which was super affordable and now I have awesome profile pics for my website, linked in, facebook and twitter pages. And if I ever remember the log in for that google plus account I created I'll have one for that too. Although I'm not a dog person, her "drunk roommate" was pretty easy going and nearly invisible once he had something to chew on. (Something of his own of course. He totally respects your personal belongings) My pictures should be pretty timeless, but if I ever need more, Michelle is the first person I'd call. read more

Michelle is truly the best. I am about as awkward in front of a camera and unphotogenic as they come, and Michelle managed to make me look like a model. She is ultra professional but manages to be friendly and fun at the same time. If you're thinking you should go somewhere super inexpensive, or get someone to snap a headshot for you, think again! Michelle is really reasonable and the end product is really amazing. Thank you Michelle!! read more

Had a great experience with Genevieve and Megg! Everything from booking to the actual session to choosing the photos was straightforward and easy. They made me feel comfortable and talked me through the whole process. I don't usually wear much makeup and was really happy with Megg's work. I love my photos and would definitely recommend Organjc Headshots. read more

I've had my fair share of headshots done in the past and the ones that Michelle did for me are by far my favorites! The actual shoot itself was comfortable and she is really sweet. She's very professional (always prompt at answering emails, questions, and I got a card in the mail afterwards too!) I had her retouch all my photos and it was WELL worth the small fee. Her fee in general is very reasonable as far as headshots go. I told her what kind of theater and shows I do and what I was planning on using the photos for and she knew exactly what kind of poses and colors and such to use. I ended up with some beautifully done photos that show my personality and look like me on my best day- what else could an actor want? :) read more

I am picky (or discriminating?:) and after reviewing many headshot companies, I went with Michelle at Organic Headshots. It was seamless and fun, too. I'm happy with results; we tweaked it a few times to both of our satisfaction. The shoot itself was very efficient and 9 days later, I have my finished product. My biggest problem was selecting from the great array of photos I had. I did not use her makeup and hair person, as a disclaimer, so I can't speak to that. Finally, I have bad allergies, and I asked that the studio dog be put away and he was. The space is very clean, I had zero problems with my bad allergies. I did get to meet him and he's pretty cute. I'd highly recommend this company if you want great results with an efficient shoot and a rapid turnaround time. read more

I had a great experience at Organic Headshots. I was getting a headshot for LinkedIn. Cute little studio in a condo/apartment building on the northside. I liked that it was small, because the photographer (Michelle) and makeup artist/hairstylist (Angelica and Michelle I believe) were totally focused on me since I was the only client. Very personable, listened to what I wanted (a conservative photo), and changed makeup when I wasnt happy. They also let me preview the photos to make sure that I was happy with the look and had enough to choose from. It was more than I wanted to spend (because I added hair and makeup) but the photos look amazing - well worth it. read more

So Easy, Professional, and High Quality! It had been years since I had had professional photos taken for any purpose, and I had never gotten professional photos taken that I could use in my professional/career setting, ever. In large part, this was because I hate all photos of myself, and generally avoid being in front of a camera at all costs. Jeff and Megg took fantastic care of me, and really put me at ease. They even made me rethink my aversion to photo taking a little bit! Their expertise in everything from outfit, make-up, and background color combinations, to hairstyle, lighting, posing, and every other little detail was obvious, and it really reassured me that the results would be fantastic. Plus, puppy Charlie pretty much ensured that there would be no stress during my entire photo session. I'm pretty sure it's just not possible to be stressed out around him. The session booking process was super easy on the Organic Headshots website. Their policies on rescheduling (which I had to do once before my session) were really clear and easy to follow, as was the actual process of rescheduling right on the website. Their pricing was really clear, and there were no hidden fees or added costs anywhere (so rare in this day and age). The actual session was great. The studio had a pretty wide variety of backgrounds to choose from, and they booked the sessions that day far enough apart that I never felt rushed, but at the same time things moved along at a good pace, and they got me in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. Jeff and Megg are both so pleasant and were really easy to talk to, that time went by really fast, and next thing I knew, I had over 200 shots in a wide variety of poses to work with! The turn-around time with the photos was really quick, and I ended up having one photo re-touched, which was also really quick (just a few additional days), which turned out really great. And best (and most important of all), I now have *too many* (is that even possible?), very professional headshots to choose from, that my biggest concern is which one to choose as my main go-to photo! In short, If you need professional, high-quality, classy-looking headshots, no matter what your industry, I would recommend this studio, hands down. If you haven't done so already, book with Organic Headshots, you'll be glad you did! read more

I am thrilled with my new headshots! I feel Michelle captured an authentic, yet very flattering version of me and I am proud to use these photos for all of my public facing materials. Michelle put me at ease and the shoot was, dare I say, fun! I would definitely recommend Organic Headshots to others who want to put "best foot forward" in the public domain with some amazing professional images. read more

10 years ago i had a head shot taken... it was decent at best. my industry "requires" a headshot on almost everything and that to me is annoying but a necessary evil i guess. the tricky part is that i do NOT photograph well. setting up the apt online was super easy - took the high road and bundled the makeup and hair as well - figured why not. right when i arrived i warned Jeff i suck at taking photos - he was funny, witty and just a good dude. the make up was fantastic - natural (yes im a guy) and just took the shine out. during the shoot the make up girl was touching up - fixing it was like i was a celebrity well worth it... do NOT skip the makeup. the photos turned out WAY better than expected and again the experience was a lot of fun. highly recommend jeff. he's artistic and down to earth and will bring out the best in whatever you have to work with. thanks! read more

Michelle is a pleasure to work with. She is super knowledgeable, professional, and really interested in getting the best outcome for the client. I recently sat with Michelle for a session that included 2 outfit/background changes. Very happy with Michelle's work! As someone who's less-than-photogenic, I appreciate Michelle's patience and attention to detail even during just a 20 minute "mini session." I really wanted a true professional headshot after years of selfies and iPhone pictures for my LinkedIn profile. The experience and result was definitely worth the money. Highly recommend! read more
