If their is a incident she will contact you right away. Mr. Sebastian the principle is a awesome asset to the school and I real believe he is trying his best to make sure no child is left behind. He is always our front welcoming all the kids and you can tell he generally cares. The school is also really involved in your child's learning ability and is always offering solutions so your child gets the most out of their days. The lunches have always been amazing and Mrs.Tracy In the cafeteria is always their to insure the kids get a great breakfast or lunch with a veggie or fruit included. This is honestly the only reason why we haven't moved back to our home in San Diego because this school is so amazing. Also I love there is a ZERO Bully policy and they have a buddy bench for when a child is feeling sad or has no one to play with that child can go sit down and that signals he or she needs a friend. We definitely need more schools like this.

I walked around and found one, who did not appear to know anything about his class, and vaguely waved him over to join the other children sitting around. On the third day, I discovered that the children were at the center for only the first 2 hours each afternoon, then taken to a park and left, apparently unsupervised, for the remaining hour. While there, my grandson was bullied, including being physically hit below the belt. After this, he refused to return. I paid $180 for this opportunity for him to learn computer animation, and the result was (possibly) 6 hours of instruction, and his humiliation and physical hurt. Shame on this place for allowing this to happen to children.

I just finished my CNA2 course through this school last night and Sherry Huff is a wonderful…read moreinstructor! Her classes are small (there was 5 of us for class and 6 for our clinicals) so she is really able to spend time discussing each skill and the importance of them. The class in total was 8 days. We had 5 days of class (or the equivalent of) and 3 days of clinicals. The clinicals were held at Riverbend hospital and in my opinion were not long enough. I thoroughly enjoyed the class! I am a return student so I got a 10% discount on my tuition. I had been a CNA and let my license go to stay home and take care of my kids while they were little. When I began looking into the RN program I saw that I needed to have my CNA so I took it through Dare2Care. I worked during the day and attended classes as night. The class was 8 weeks long including clinicals. It was a very thorough class and the clinicals were held at Riverpark in Eugene. I am happy that Sherry opened this school. She is very passionate about teaching people how to properly care for those who can no longer care for themselves or for those who just need a helping hand through the little valleys in life. Sherry was my RCM when I was a younger CNA and I was honored to have her as my instructor now. This school is definitely a great asset to stand alone schools. The state boards for CNA 1 are held at the school in the lab where you are familiar with the layout and have practiced the skills. All in all both of my experiences with Dare2Care have been wonderful!

I cannot say enough good and wonderful things about Marieke…read more I have been a musical theatre, singer, and voice over actor for over 10 years. I have taken lessons. Gone to school. Private instructions. Done all that. Marieke is the only one that has helped me with break issues and learning how to bridge the gaps in my voice. She uses the Alexander Technique, and tries to pinpoint WHY we're having problems performing, rather than band-aiding it. She takes the time to LEARN you, how you think, how you perform, how you're holding yourself back, and how we can get to where we wanna go. You HAVE to commit some time, and obviously funds, but I think if you're committed to your passion, she is the best investment you can make in yourself. I feel so lucky to be under her instruction.

I've been a professional singer for many years, performed nationally and internationally and have…read morestudied with various voice teachers over the years, each with very different styles/techniques. Marieke Schuurs (Cantare Voice Studio) is the most professional instructor I have ever worked with and also the most generous spirit. I've had teachers who were really just frustrated vocalists ("those who can't do teach"), and I've had teachers who guarded their techniques as if they alone held the key to musical fame ("no recorders allowed, you might go sell my secret"). In those cases the lessons were more about the teacher than the student. Marieke is the exact opposite. She encourages you to record each lesson and re-listen to it, practice with it between lessons. She customizes each lesson, identifying exactly what your body and voice are struggling with that day. There's nothing "cookie-cutter" or mass-produced about her technique. She is incredibly perceptive and can fine-tune tiny elements of your posture, breathing or pronunciation to release the voice you always knew you had in there but didn't know how to make it come out. She also continues to train her own voice, knowing that there is always more to learn and that even the most professional musician can always continue to hone their craft. If you're a beginning singer who can barely hold a note, she's the perfect teacher to start with ... avoid years of struggle by learning good technique early. If you're a seasoned professional, she can enhance what you already do well, help break any bad habits you may have developed and take some of the "work" out of it, releasing rich effortless tone. If you're serious about singing and want to get as good as you can be, take advantage of the opportunity to study with Marieke. She's nurturing, encouraging and delivers results.
