I have been an Epilepsy patient at Oregon Neurology in Springfield for about 8 years. My experience had been great until my doctor left the office and I was forced to see someone else. Unfortunately, the new women I saw were not personable to the very least and were never there when I was desperate for help. Anyone with epilepsy knows that life can be very unexpected and scary. This place if aweful! No caring or respect from doctors. Had one seizure in my 30s, and before any testing i was told on initial visit that I needed to be put on meds. Second appoitnment meds. Didn't want to accept the fact that cannabis is legal, having had a medical card. This dinosaur of a Doc told me that cannabis was causing my seizures. I am a son of a anesthesiologist, who passed away and now building my own life. Unforutuanly I am on ohp. Now I am treated like scum and the Doc would rather chat about politics and his beliefs then tell me what is going on with my brain!! I believe this place should be condemned! No star to one.. no care at all !! they seem to think its ok to take your money.... BUT not help you !! SOOO if you are expecting care here.... you will be very disappointed !!! This is insane !!! I have had some severe memory problems as well as tremors and extreme headache...and my blood pressure was very high .... and he told me that nothing .... I repeat..... NOTHING is wrong with you !! Horrible office, billing receptionist lori was especially rude. They made a mistake on my meds which has to be special ordered months in advance, i was told by dr. Loganbill that the office staff" had so much to do i shouldnt hold them responsible for their error", still had to pay full cost of the office visit even though the half dose wasnt enough to control my condition effectively. Dr. Loganbill refuses to answer questions or address concerns, shes robotic and completely unfeeling. read more

I suffered from a seizure at the end of July and was referred to Dr. Loganbill from a family friend who also happens to be a radiologist in town. I went to see my regular doctor first so that I could actually get a referral to see her. After going to my doctor and getting a neurological exam, she referred me to a neurologist that she prefers. I asked her to refer me to Dr. Loganbill as well since she came highly recommended by my family friend. After waiting 2 months for my appointment in the Keizer office and canceling the other appointment I had made with the other neurologist my doctor referred me too (I had booked another apt prior to hearing from Oregon Neurology because it took them forever to contact me to set the apt after they got the referral from my doctor,) I got a call less than 24 hrs prior to my appointment with Loganbill saying that they had to cancel because they overlooked the fact that my referral was from a naturopath. The office girl could not explain the logic behind this, and could only offer her apologies. Let me tell you - an apology in this case is just adding insult to injury. These people have no idea what I am going through, nor do they care. It had nothing to do with insurance. It had to do with the fact that my doctor is not a "western medicine" (in the words of the office girl) doctor. In other words, because I am an open minded individual and choose to see a naturopath vs. a western medicine doctor, I am being punished. If I were to cancel on them less than 24 hrs in advance, you had better believe that they would have charged me. When asked if I could get a referral from a western medicine doctor to them that day, they simply replied that the apt has been cancelled - in other words they gave my apt away to someone else and they don't care to make this right. I have nothing but good things to say about Oregon Neurology. From start to finish my experience with them was the best I have ever had with any doctor. My situation was urgent, so even though there is a 3 month waiting list for new patient appointments the neurologist worked late on a Friday night to see me the first week after my doctor called her. The staff were very thorough and had gathered all of my records in that short time. I had struggled for years with my symptoms and had never gotten a diagnosis. This clinic not only was able to diagnose me, but they had treatment that improved my strength. Because of this clinic, I have my life back. read more

Do not go! My daughter was referred here for a nerve study. The doctor did not save or print the report so we had to go back as the surgeon needed the study not the doctors notes. We were charged again for their mistake. When I called I was told that we had to pay this or they would send us to collections. When we went back the 2nd time the doctor said my daughter didn't need surgery and called the surgeon and ordered more test to be ran. I had already been to 5 doctors all we wanted was the nerve study to be done correctly. This ego maniac doctor caused thousands of more dollars in test and we had to postpone her surgery. Which she ultimately did get and the problem is now fixed. We still got stuck with the bill for something they should have done correctly the first time. read more

The Keizer office staff is RUDE! Our referring physician told us we had an appointment at 12:20 PM and we showed up and they were very put out that we were there told us they didn't know what we were talking about and that we needed to leave. Another office employee came in and was able to find the referral in the fax machine. The rudeness of the older woman was amazing and we were happy to go elsewhere. My husband had a possible mini stroke and we needed to be seen within 48 hours and were blown away by the lack of empathy. Ended up at the ER to get the right tests ran. read more

I found Dr. Emma Burbank to be completely incompetent. I was referred to this practice to have 2 medical tests completed and she only did 1 of the tests. I returned to the office to have the rest of the testing completed only to have Dr. Burbank immediately say the apt wasn't scheduled to allow time for ANY tests, then why did you accept me scheduling the appt for the tests to be done in the first place??? I left after informing Dr. Burbank that she wasn't qualified to be my doctor anymore and I would be going elsewhere and recommending to others that they do the same. She sent me a letter saying she couldn't be my doctor anymore...completely ridiculous, how can you not get you were fired on the spot for being totally useless? This place has wasted my time twice now. This practice, especially Dr. Burbank, has a record of being unapt at simple tasks, which you can see now by the multiple poor reviews of her work. I agree with the other reviewer that this "practice as a whole is arrogant, unhelpful, does sloppy work, etc. There are plenty of OTHER competent neurologists in the metro area." read more

This company violated my HIPAA rights, when they sent personal information to the Workers Compensation self insured corporation. After billing me for the visit, the Doctor confused a week, with a year, charged me for the visit, then billed the insurance company, with the submission of his report. He did not do a proper interview, and since My other neurologist found reasonable cause for further studies, I already knew what Dr. Sluss should have identified. By not performing the interview, and charging the WC, after billing me, This establishment committed fraud. Recently, they tried to give back the money, again. Claiming it was now too late to complain about the fraud, or the fact that their representative, failed to do anything other than falsify a report or the insurance company. read more

Highly NOT recommended. A relative had been going to one of the neurologists there for the last 3-4 years. Recently, he had his ODL revoked (via an anonymous report from an unnamed 'medical professional'). During the course of trying to find a reason or cause, we asked for a copy of his chart from the office. In the chart notes, the physician had noted the possibility of a serious and potentially life-threatening condition AND FAILED TO PROPERLY and DIRECTLY INFORM THE PATIENT. No direct mention of said situation was ever made to the patient. Additionally, in the copy (paper copy) of the chart that was provided, there were pages from the chart of another patient -- a direct and clear HIPAA violation. Check the other online reviews of this practice. Only one physician receives anything resembling acceptable marks, and the practice as a whole is arrogant, unhelpful, does sloppy work, etc. There are plenty of other competent neurologists in the metro area. Don't patronize this office. My regular neurologist left that office, and I was scheduled with Dr. Loganbill. She was arrogant and we immediately hit a bad note. She wasted no time in getting rid of me and me her; I will never go back to that office again. That woman has an attitude problem. read more

My experience here from start to finish was terrible. The office staff was rude and robotic. They told me that my insurance would not pay for an MRI, but when I called and checked with the insurance, they said there was no issue and made it happen. The doctor was incompetent and didn't even read my scans, he was just going on what the radiologist said. I have already found a new neurologist and suggest that others stay clear, they don't have a clue and lack any sense of urgency. read more
