Three weeks ago we drove to Hood River from the coast to purchase two ebikes ( a Bulls and a Cube ) and a Kuat hitch rack. We spent well over $11,000 on our purchases. We love our bikes for sure.....but the lack of follow up service is nonexistent. Shortly after the pick up of our bikes, the Bulls developed a clattering and vibration on the front brake when braking moderately to heavy. It also has a slight display issue, but that's a different story. So, we're going out into the Gorge this week so we called to have someone look at the bike for a diagnosis......and what did we get ? We were told that it would be three weeks before we could be scheduled for an appointment....was told that we should take it to a local bike store. Was also told that it was not likely a warranty issue. Really ? After $ 11,000...........not a happy camper ! So, I did take it to a local bike store today.....and they found the calipers misaligned and the front wheel not securely tightened. As this was due to bad build-up. I didn't drop the money in his shop, (Bikes and Beyond) but he was more than happy to correct the issues. Oh....by the way.....I was a walk in. Didn't have to schedule three weeks out. Oregon E-Bikes has great products to sell you.....but that's where it ends.

A Cruiser electric bike. Very heavy with the battery but very easy to ride with the extra boost it provides.

The vast amount of options in Hood River for MTB is slightly intimidating which is why we hired a guide and we did not regret it our choice of Greg one bit.

I haven't been on a mountain bike in many years but wanted to experience the mountain bike trails at Post Canyon. I have heard about this place as being one of the best mountain bike areas in the Country. I feel fortunate to have found HRMBA and, more specifically, Greg Galliano. He was wonderful in helping us have the most amazing experience as we rode through incredibly beautiful areas in the Post Canyon trail system. Greg knows this area very well and did an excellent job showing us the best trails for our level of experience. He can accommodate all levels of ability. Whether you are beginner, intermediate, or an experienced rider, this is definitely the way to go! We rode mountain bikes which were in new condition and had the latest in design and technology (loved the hydraulic brakes and dropper seatpost!!!). Greg was fantastic in offering a few tips here and there to help me be more efficient on the bike, which I really appreciate. Without a doubt, taking a guided tour with Greg was much better than we could have done on our own with rental bikes and a map. The trail system at Post Canyon is complex and he has local knowledge and resources to ensure an incredible experience for you. His passion for mountain biking, friendly personality, and hospitality are so inspiring you will want to come back for more.

Hi. I had a breakdown while mtb riding in Hood River. Trails were amazing btw. My rear hub…read moredisintegrated on me on the trail. I was on a road trip and was planning to do more riding at future destinations so was desperate to try and diagnose and get the bike back to riding shape. Called ahead and the person who answered agreed to take a look and at least help me identify the issue. I was grateful for this and landed there more than an hour before closing. Though it was great that this guy was willing to take a look at my bike and try to help me out, when I got to the shop I was berated for my poor bike maintenance in front of an audience of...customers...groupies...employees...IDK who TF the crowd of dudes were. But, y'know, I was just kinda desperate for some help and what I got was made fun of in front of the dude's apparent cronies. Pretty needy. He failed to even catch what was really wrong with my bike and just stated the obvious, offering to swap out my engine when all I might have needed was an oil change. Sweet, thanks man. Go F yourself Mr. cool. I went to Bingen after feeling pretty humiliated by this guy and Dr. Roscoe's gave a solid effort and a fair price. Steer clear of Dirty Fingers unless you're emotionally needy and an insecure dumbass who wants to join his crony crew and laugh at people who are casual riders that ride just cuz they love it and need a hand.
