Let me start by saying I am one of those people that "hates" massages because I don't like being…read moretouched (no really though, like stranger hugs make me SO uncomfortable,) and I have struggled in my life with massages. They're either incredibly painful or useless. I had a therapist in FL who I saw regularly during pregnancy and he was amazing and I built a GREAT repoire with. Then I moved here and found a woman who I again felt did a good job, etc and never hurt me, then she started ranting about her life and problems everytime I went so THAT was very stressful and I left feeling crap. I recently started working with Aaron Woods at Grind Time Fitness and the training is INTENSE and hard. That said, I had SO many knots in my shoulders and neck. Tuesday night I got maybe 2.5 hours sleep. And I kept waking up because I was in pain. That was not okay. He had told me, since last week...to go get a massage. I caved. And I knew that this was a reputable place and it was nearby, and most importantly, there was availability. I never ever have any expectations of a massage because I don't really care for them. But I honestly have to say this was probably THE best massage of my life. It was uncomfortable at times because I was super knotted up, but never painful. And I know to breathe, just lik during tattoos, so I was fine. But I felt SO much better. But more importantly I SLEPT. Ameen told me to sleep on my back with a pillow under my legs as much as possible for the next week to let everything settle. Which is difficult because I'm a side sleeper. But I followed orders and slept SO hard. I felt SO much better today it was unreal. I cannot recommend highly enough. Which sucks in a way because that (BETTER) mean he will have a lot more business!! Thank you SO much Ameen!!!

I booked a massage and received a call about an hour or so before that they needed to push my massage back because of the person before me being late. I said no problem, I prefer later, let's go with it. They then called me back and said they moved it back up to 3pm.. at this point they should have left it. It's unprofessional to go back and forth and be calling me 3 times during my work day for another client who is late. The massage room itself was small, but nice, but definitely needs a place for people to put their clothes and phone/stuff. The massage therapist said I could put my stuff on his chair but that felt odd. The message itself was... Jerky and while we had 90 minutes, it was really fast strokes and made it not relaxing at all. He never worked on my neck and shoulders while I was face up which is odd since I mentioned they were an area of focus I wanted. They also don't do the hot wet towels on your back to wipe off excess oil. I was not impressed when I left with so much oil on my feet I was sliding around and my car seat had residual massage oil when I got out. The man who gave me a massage awkwardly ended it by saying, "okay, that's it". And walking out. No, I'll meet you outside or we'll have tea for you... completely abrupt and odd. I walked out after dressing and the front desk lady was nice enough but said she didn't know I wa done and was going to go get me water and snacks. The massage is timed, so she should know when it's done... but it was a nice gesture and it's a good touch if executed better. Unfortunately I felt so uncomfortable at this point I paid and left. The receptionist called another patron whose schedule was uncertain and they were willing to go later, so we could get in. That kind of service is above and beyond. Second, the experience is just the right amount tender and brutal. Third, the ambiance was muted while still being lighthearted. Would absolutely recommend this experience!

No worries but they don't have the facilities for a "couples massage" A bit of music wouldn't have hurt. A little hard to relax with the sounds of a busy mall rolling in the back ground. The female also walked into the room as I was disrobing and wasn't bothered at all and just stood there waiting for me to lay down. So I'm awkwardly trying to remove the rest of my clothing and cover up at the same time and gave up. I found it funny but others may not so much.
