Very disappointing experience - not the professional diagnostic promised…read more I booked my car in with VolcanMotors for what was clearly advertised and verbally confirmed as a professional and detailed diagnostic. When I made the booking, the owner assured me they would carry out proper due diligence and identify the root cause of the issue. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of that expectation. After a few hours, I was told the "diagnostic" had been done using a diagnostic machine only, with no meaningful additional investigation. There was no visual inspection, no deeper fault-finding, and no attempt to properly validate the issue. They simply repeated the same fault code information I was already aware of. Based on this very superficial check, they quickly recommended a major and expensive repair -- without demonstrating any thorough analysis to justify it. When I asked reasonable questions to understand their process and reasoning, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude rather than a professional explanation. What's most disappointing is not just the lack of diagnosis, but the lack of honesty and professionalism. If the garage does not have the expertise, time, or willingness to properly diagnose a vehicle, it would be far more professional to say so upfront rather than provide a costly recommendation based on a basic scan. I trusted them to treat both the job and me as a customer with professionalism and respect. Instead, I received neither. I would not return to this garage and would not trust their diagnostic conclusions.

They've run exactly to time on both my visits, though the waiting area is very comfortable if you find yourself needing it. I know it's a bit wasteful but I for one was relieved they had the heating cranked up to full blast in this weather! There also seem to be far too many people employed on the ground floor, standing near the entrance and ready to give you directions every few steps you take. Still I was relieved with my hassle-free experience, and I recommend taking the stairs instead of the lift if you can manage to see as much of the lovely building as poss!

I hadn't seen my baby since I was 20 weeks pregnant and was really tempted by the promise of seeing my baby's face up close and personal. I called and made an appointment asap. The clinic is small, but very comfortable and friendly. The staff was so nice and the sonographer was great too with explaining everything we were seeing on screen (sometimes those scan pictures just look like blobs to me). I happen to have a very stubborn baby and she refused to take her hands away from her face, so sadly, we were only able to get a couple of photos of her. But, I was happy to see that she has her mum's nose and mouth! There are several different packages you choose from with different pricing--I got one that included three printouts and a disc of images. It is expensive, but Verulam's prices are competitive with everyone else's. I found it worth the money! If you can't wait to see your baby, I highly recommend a 4D scan!

Luckily, for me, this is the first time I have needed to visit A & E of this hospital after an…read more'episode'. On arrival by ambulance I was immediately taken to triage and passed through the various departments with total efficiency. I say efficiency but this doesn't lose the fact that there was a lot of joking banter and friendliness with the total professionalism of all the staff. I cannot speak highly enough of all the nurses and doctors in A & E. Thank you guys for making this traumatic experience a lot easier to accept.

999 brought an ambulance with two amazing young medics to our door who spent considerable time over…read moreblood tests and ECG, liaising with central over unusual features, then took me to the hospital, returning once (not too far luckily) because I had left home with my disabled wife's phone. I was quickly allocated a bed and assured I was well away from Covid area. Seen by several nurses and doctors including a CAT scan and allowed to go home after maybe 6 hrs max. Everyone so pleasant, efficient whilst remaining friendly and approachable, explaining all procedures in advance, and appearing to be one happy high efficiency team all working as one.
