Give them a call for more information and what services they do offer as I know they do everything a beauty salon does. I would save for a bit as it is quite expensive.

The staff talk to you very openly and seem friendly enough. When I went to Perfect Beauty it was in preparation for my sisters 21st birthday party so me and my sister went together and I treated her. Even though I spent a fair bit of money I was not impressed. During a french manicure, the beautician cut my finger open and didn't apologise, this did ruin my manicure, I wont lie. I asked her for a leg wax and instead of her telling me the hairs on my legs were too short she just did it anyway, charging me for causing me pain without actually making a difference to the hairs on my legs. I went back a few days later and they wouldn't refund me the money because apparently my hairy legs weren't proof that they didn't wax my legs. My sister had her nails done and she had no complaints about that, but she also had a spraytan that was very streaky. I will not be going back.

Supercuts is a brand which needs no introduction, being huge across the globe especially in the USA, but for me one of the biggest pros advertised about Supercuts is the price and service, and none of them seemed to be good here. Let's start with the price, £14.95 for a dry cut if ridiculous, especially for the centre of Oldham where you could get dry cuts around a third or half of that price, that's around the sort of price you would pay in Manchester city centre, and even then it would still be expensive, which shows that especially for the location the price is ridiculous compared to rivals nearby. On my visit, there was a very unfriendly staff member, who was the only woman working, she refused to hold my place in line, despite seeing me walking past two or three times as I didn't want to wait, and they didn't seem really busy, this is a frustrating policy as she seemed really slow in doing her work, and refused to even phone me and give me the chance to come, if she was free, or make an appointment, knowing i was just having a coffee downstairs at Rhode Island. Inside, it doesn't seem really nice either, the decor is a bit poor and it isn't the nicest of places and is less modern than you would associate with other Supercuts branches, which makes me feel this branch is getting second-class treatment compared to branches in better locations, while still charging the same price with shoddy service, I sadly feel this is going to warrant a one star, and I'm sad to continue this run of four one star reviews in a row from the reviews I have written.

I have being going to The Nail Queen since I realised you could attach fake nails onto your fingers…read moreand make them look pretty. From being a student, I would make my way once a month to nail queen to have my false frenchies put in place. This weekend I came home for a wedding and was in desperate need of my nails doing and off I tottered back to Nail Queen - the place I'd always relied on. The same husband and wife still reside and the same, as with all nail salons, is instantly recognisable. I was seated straight away and hands grabbed forward. From memory, I always preferred the wife to do my nails but this time it was the husband. They're quick and efficient but I always feel that the wife just cares that little bit more. I left, 70% happy. Some of my nails were slightly wonky and the colour of had put on (dark red) had ran onto me fingers but this washed straight off. When and if I'm home again, and in need of my nails doing I will probably always return here. I know the place, it's trustworthy and it's £25 for a good set of gel nails - can't ask for much more really?!

It looks fantastic from the outside and although it is only small, it still beats most major salons around. They also do acrylic nails as well which is just perfect for me. I love having a facial here or a manicure. It is relaxing and all the staff are a great help and nice to talk to. They make you comfortable by offering you tea and juice. They stock products to and have a lot of knowledge rather than just making you but them, they explain what they do and whether or not it will be helpful to use.
