You will almost certainly never get it from your insurance company or will have to wait weeks while referral back and forth. HTC imaging just solve this whole issue. The pricing is very affordable with the amount of scan and result that you got. The peace of mind after the thorough scan of your body is priceless. Appointment was easily made. The great owner Sean was able to put me in in 2 days. And he was so caring and personally assuring throughout the whole process. Identifying possible problems right after. The MRI experience is not as scary as I thought. He assured me in every process and you are not going to stuck inside for hours. He let you came out and back in periodically. The ultrasound process is as amazing as the MRI. This is not the first time I did ultrasound. But he knows exactly where and what to look for and show me exactly what my body is doing at the same time. We got a short consultation right after the scan and a detailed board certified report a few days later. Also, all imaging will be given to you in a flash drive. Amazing service. The only thing is it's a little hard to look for. Remember you are looking for a trailer in a parking marked with Siemens. (See my picture). It's next to the medical building. Pricing was also very affordable compared to a lot of other imaging centers, which I appreciated. The only downside was the image quality. When I later went in for surgery, my doctor mentioned that the MRI imaging quality was not very good, which makes me think they may be using an older machine or older equipment. That said, the staff experience was excellent and the gentleman helping me was extremely kind and professional. If you're looking for a lower-cost MRI option and a smooth experience, this place works well. But if you specifically need the highest-quality imaging for something serious or surgical, you may want to consider a facility with newer equipment.

My biggest issue was the lack of communication from the receptionist, Kim. It is very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. When I finally got through, I was told I needed a referral. I went through the effort of obtaining one from my doctor and called back (which took 4+ attempts for someone to pick up) to book and only then did Kim inform me that the business is closed for remodeling. It is unprofessional to string a patient along, requiring referrals and multiple calls, only to reveal at the very end that you aren't even open. Please update your hours online so you don't waste other people's time. I told Kim she would have saved me 10+ phone calls, getting a referral, etc. had she said when I called the first time that she's closed and she just said Okay.

However, when the MRI technician came to take me into the room and set up the machine, she seemed very careless and not very attentive. She briefly asked what kind of music I wanted, then closed the door and left. I asked how long the procedure would take, and I was told fifteen minutes. Once it started, the noise from the machine was extremely loud and suddenly caused me to develop a headache. I simply endured it for the full fifteen minutes. When it was finished and another staff member came in to open the machine and help me out, I mentioned what happened. He told me that next time I should ask for earplugs. I responded that I hope there won't be a next time soon, as this is not something I experience regularly. In my opinion, patients should be reminded in advance that the noise can be very loud and that ear protection is available. This discomfort could easily be prevented. I feel the staff need to be a bit more attentive and considerate, rather than just treating it as a routine task and moving on. Patients deserve more care and awareness.

They also took the time to gather my doctor's orders and insurance information during that initial conversation, which made the process feel smooth and efficient. Within just a few days, my insurance was approved, and my appointment was scheduled; something that had taken months elsewhere without success. When I arrived, the facility itself was easy to find, smaller in size, and had a comfortable, welcoming feel. It was clear that patient experience is a priority. The MRI operator was excellent, very personable, patient, and willing to walk me through every step of the process while answering all of my questions. Luckily, my score was 0 (perfect) five years ago, and it was time for a recheck. This time, I was referred to Imaging Partners in Orange. I called to schedule an appointment and Elyssa was so friendly and helpful. They had a cancellation and were able to book me only two days out. She took all of my prerequisite information quickly and sent me a link to complete some paperwork online ahead of time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was impressed by their very modern and clean facility. Check-in was a breeze since I completed the forms online ahead of time. I only waited about five minutes and was called back. My tech Khan was very friendly and made everything a breeze. I laid on the bed feet first and he put a few heart electrodes on my chest. The bed raises and slides you into the center of the CT machine. It was not claustrophobic at all, and the CT machine spinning made very little noise. An automated voice instructs you to hold your breath twice for about five seconds, and then again twice for about 15 seconds as the bed slowly moves back and forth through the ring taking images. The process only took about five minutes, and I was in and out of the office in about fifteen minutes. I took the test on a Friday afternoon and the results will be sent to my doctor and posted in their online portal for me to view on Monday. Insurance usually doesn't cover this test, and the cash price was only $200. I had a great experience here, and will look forward to coming back in five years.

I have been to the MV…read morelocation many times, including three times in 2025 and another time just last week (Jan. 2026). I have been to the Newport Beach location a couple times as well. Every time I have used CVI, I was treated very well by the people on the phone making my appointments, the people that call a few days before my appointment with the screening questions, the front counter people, and most of all, the Technicians. In MV, I recently worked with FIORELLA, DARREN, YALILA and LAURA. In NB, I have worked with MOSES. Every one of the Techs has been very friendly and accommodating. They make sure I am as comfortable as possible and explain to me what they will be doing. Obtaining the imaging results is easy too, whether it be a disk or hard-copy. I understand everyone is different and has different expectations, but I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at CVI and often choose to go there. CVI and most of the Doctors I see, share the same software that allows the Doctors to view the images and results in their office as soon as CVI uploads the information, so I don't have to get the disk and results myself and bring them with me to my next Doctor's appointment.

Just fill out appropriate papers, sign some Hippa releases and the CD with imaging will be printed and the report printed for you separately after the radiologist has seen the images and made the report. Reports usually take about a week to be ready. My advice: wait out the report, come back and pay the $10 to have everything done and printed at the same time. Hot tip 2: parking is free, easy, and super accessible. The location of CVI is first floor and depending on where you park, right smack in the front of the building if parking from Los Altos/Plaza side.

I met with Dr. Khan (Dr.K), who was exceptional...Insightful, thorough, attentive, and proactive. He ordered appropriate tests, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt supported and understood. He asked that I return the next morning for fasted bloodwork, which I did. When I returned, I requested a brief consultation to ask a follow-up question I had forgotten during my initial visit. The front desk kindly informed me that only a Nurse Practitioner was available. In my history with Nurse Practitioners, they have been just as helpful and knowledgeable to address my questions and concerns as MDs. I have a great respect for all medical professionals, whether MD, DO, NP, PA, etc. I was more than comfortable meeting with any medical provider available as my primary care provider. However, my experience with the NP I met, Vanessa, was the complete opposite of the standard I've come to appreciate here. She spent less than 10 minutes with me, was dismissive and condescending, and showed no interest in my symptoms, concerns, or medical history. She asked no clarifying questions and offered no meaningful assessment. It was the least professional interaction I've ever had at this clinic, and one of the worst I've experienced in the U.S. medical system overall. For anyone seeking thoughtful, intentional, and high-quality care at this practice, I strongly recommend seeing any provider other than NP Vanessa. This practice does not offer appointments, so I would advise just calling the front desk staff who are exceedingly helpful and lovely, and ask how to avoid coming in on a day where the NP Vanessa is working. I would suggest you seek care from anyone else at this establishment, if you hope to engage with a medical provider that is willing, attentive, thoughtful, and caring. Aside from my one terrible experience, every other interaction I've had at Irvine Urgent Care has been excellent.
