Within 45 minutes of contacting him he showed up to where my car was in Anaheim and did all 4 of my brakes for literally an eighth (yes, really an eighth) of what other places would charge. My car was completely disabled and the brakes were grinding metal to metal and in less than 1 hour I was up and running again! I figured I'd have to pay more for the convenience of having him come to me and for the speedy service but it was the opposite. What a pleasant surprise! I will never use another mechanic again.

Too bad I can't give Nick more stars than five... that's the maximum!…read more Nick unbelievably helped me with my problem without charging me a dime. He was super patient with me (I am not automobile inclined) as we tried to diagnose my issue over the phone so that he could give me an accurate quote. I truly believe that any mechanic I have ever met, including my own brother, would have found a way to shake some coin off of me before helping me solve a problem, but Nick was up front about the prices (more than reasonable) and knowledgeable, giving me some troubleshooting ideas and a few options to best accomodate me. I won't bore you with the details (I have a small leak in my hydraulics), but I appreciate that he didn't insist that I make repairs, like a doctor or a dad would do. And he wanted to know how my troubleshooting worked out, calling him back either way, like a date dropping you off at your house and waiting for you to turn on your porch light to make sure you're safe. Anyway, this might sound weird, but I am actually looking forward to my next automobile issue because I want to give Nick my business. I trust him completely, and you don't hear many people say that nowadays. :) Thanks, Nick!!

I found this place on yelp and I arrived with a laundry list of recommended services from the bmw dealership. I was hesitant on all the services listed so I took my car to Steve for a second opinion. His technician, Marvin, was very thorough and detail on his inspection. For example, Marvin showed me the actual coolant and differential fluid color from my car versus what it should be. He tested parts that were in question by the dealership and showed me that it didn't really need fixing. I really appreciate their honesty and not trying to upsell me unnecessary services. My bmw has been serviced at the dealership for the past decade but I will be taking my future business here. The value and service just cannot be beat. Thank you Steve and Marvin.

The shop where I had the work done at rechecked everything and said there was no leak on the exhaust system. I came here for a second opinion. I called and explained the issue, and the person on the phone said to come by anytime and he'd take a look. I live very close and went right over. I met Jake who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was well aware of the common exhaust issues on this model of car. He inspected the exhaust system, and also used a listening device under the hood. He concurred that there was no leak in the exhaust system. He said the problem could possibly be a blocked catalytic converter, but that the car would probably be running a lot rougher. While we were chatting with the car still running and the hood open, we saw some smoke coming out. He said whatever was causing that was probably the issue. They are a muffler and exhaust shop, not a full mechanic shop, so I didn't expect him to investigate any further. (I later discovered that the engine side of the PCV value hose was cracked and that's where the leak was coming from). I was only here briefly, but had a very good experience. I would definitely return if I needed any exhaust work done.

Jake and Lee do all of my exhaust work so I stopped in to see if I could schedule an install. Jake is super meticulous, noticed there was a faint rattle at idle and quickly adjusted the exhaust hangers to give just enough room. The highest quality work as always. This is why I keep coming back over the years.

I usually do all of my own work on my collector car because I really don't trust others to do work on it to my standards but I had a large job (replacing the clutch, flywheel, radiator, etc) - an amount of work that would have been too much to take on at home - and decided to hand it off. I left my car with him for a little over a week and he got it all done... once I got it back, the attention to detail showed. I'll be back soon.

I believe I had written a positive review years ago about my experience. It was a very unusual…read moreexperience so it is worth repeating. I had my car towed 30 miles from my home in the SGV to Haydon Bros in Anaheim for a diagnosis and repair. Many years ago my 993 Porsche had overheated and multiple warning lights appeared while driving on a Sunday on a Southern California freeway. I initially suspected it was related to the recent service work I had completed at a shop in the Pasadena area. Since that service on my 993 Porsche, my car seemed a little "off" so I called the Pasadena shop. The owner assured me all was okay at the time of my service. My instincts told me otherwise. Once I broke down on the freeway, my suspicions only deepened. Since it was a Sunday when I broke down, no shops were open. Therefore, I had my car towed back to my home. I was determined to get a second opinion so I did an internet research and found great reviews on Haydon Bros located in Anaheim, about 30 miles from my home. I paid out of pocket to have my car towed to Haydon Bros and was very glad I did. My first impression upon arriving was very positive as I found their shop to be the cleanest Porsche Shop that I had ever seen. A few days later, I received a call from Haydon Bros and he suggested that I come by and bring a camera so I could photograph what he had found. He would hold off on the repairs until my photos were taken. The next day I arrived with my camera in hand. I was shocked to see that my previous mechanic's worker had "accidentally" broken off a bolt and instead of properly repairing his error, he had used plastic zip ties to hold parts together. Haydon Bros said that I was extremely lucky that I didn't have an engine fire or explosion. Haydon Bros fixed the problem and my car was back to being perfect! Thank you again Haydon Bros.!

I've used Direct Techs several times over the years, and reliability is exactly why I keep calling them back. Most recently, my Infiniti Q50 developed a major coolant leak as soon as my wife parked at work around 6am. One call later, Direct Techs responded immediately, coordinated their schedule, parts, and had the car repaired and back to OEM condition in a surprisingly short amount of time -- all while saving me the cost and hassle of a tow. Good mobile mechanics are hard to find. Good ones who communicate well, show up when they say they will, and do the job right are even harder to find. Direct Techs has earned my repeat business and is worth their weight in gold, for sure. I'll never look forward to my next car repairs but I feel much better knowing Direct Techs will be there.

We tried another agency, they kept our van for 3 days and "didn't have a chance to get to it". I met someone from Wired by Greg in 2025 at the Outland Expo so I suggested we stop at their both at 2026 event and talk to them. Greg's staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They told us to contact Greg and tell him exactly what we needed and we did, and boy am I glad we did! We are new to this "vanning" and enjoy taking her out for days or weeks at a time but had to get some solid power banks (thanks DJI) and even bought a couple portable fridges when ours stopped working one trip and all the food spoiled, such a bummer. One trip to Wired by Greg, where she (our Sprinter) spent only a few hours and we have new batteries and everything is now wired properly (thank goodness). We didn't need new batteries but thought it was time and he said our old ones work and suggested ideas for using them or selling them, which I appreciate. He put stickers on each of the new items with the app password as well as a code so we could scan and assistance could be provided on the phone if needed. He took the time to explain everything, ensured all our questions were answered, and said we should have zero problems moving forward. I would like to add he even installed a new horn that my husband surprised me with. If you have ever heard a Sprinter horn it is something a tiny car would have, not a big huge vehicle. Needless to say, the one he installed, it will get the attention needed! Sometimes you just know when someone not only loves what they do, but they do it really, really well. Bonus was the sweet dog when we dropped our Sprinter off. There aren't many people who do solar but there really only needs to be one, because Wired by Greg does it perfectly. I feel so much better knowing we won't be caught with no power, thank you Wired by Greg for allowing us to feel confident on our adventures!
