I am not a novice at yoga but I'm not a girl who can do handstands and such either. I took the class so I could learn more about the proper set up for poses I've been doing for years. I've also had an injury recently and figured I'd just start at the beginning. Let me start by saying ;The instructor Katie was a fantastic teacher. She masterfully broke poses and movements of sun salutations for us. She showed us the "common mistakes" and I felt I learned a lot from her. The studio was clean comfortable and cozy. She is truly an amazing teacher. She can teach at Level 1 up to Level 3 with all of her poses. She keeps you very focused on alignment and breathing. Her spiritual message was spot on. I went around 7:30pm on a Sunday and it was not busy at all. The gym was relatively large and did not feel crowded. The employees were friendly and helped my partner and I with checking out the black card spa since it was my first visit after upgrading. I probably won't be back too often since it is a bit of a drive, but I have no complaints about this location and it's nice to know that it's another option if my local planet fitness is closed!
